Booked for my parents. Their feedback: "Had the most amazing stay at Fernwood. Our reception on arrival by Nathan was warm and friendly. We stayed in the executive suite with the mountain view. It was quiet & peaceful & everything was so clean, and we felt we could use a hotel bath tub for the first time because of how clean it was. Clean linen, excellent room. Very friendly staff, an excellent breakfast and all round excellent stay. It exceeded expectations. We'll definitely come back".

Wonderful guest house, stayed in the main villa, bedroom was huge, bathroom fantastic and a very large patio/balcony outside the French windows. So much cupboard and drawer space too. Breakfast was superb. Very attentive staff only too happy to make our stay memorable. Location was convenient, near the Botanical gardens and close to Constantia Mall. About 15 mins taxi from the Watefront area. We got there really early and no issue allowing us an early check in. Top notch and highly recommended. There is a pool too but we didn't have time to try it.

A very safe location, a leafy suburb of Cape Town and a little oasis to spend a few hours at or come back to each day. We had 5 days here but should have stayed longer to enjoy everything Fernwood had to offer.

There is nothing to dislike about this place. We felt at home immediately, the staff were all very professional, friendly and helpful. It would have been the icing on the cake to have been able to have the odd simple evening meal but there were lots of restaurants nearby to choose from

This is the perfect retreat, quiet, beautiful and very clean. We spent 5 days here and did not want leave. Personnel is super friendly and quiet, the salt water pool refreshing and exquisit, not too cold. The garden is gorgeous and beautiful. Fabulous breakfast. We will come back and strong recommend this very unique paradise! If you love to hike, the Constantia Neck is only 10 minutes away.

Perfect location in a quiet neigbourhood near Kirstenbosch botanical gardens. The rooms are very well and tastefully designed with views of the gardens around. The breakfast area is bright and nicely laid out with a superb selection of hot and cold dishes. There is an indoor lounge with an honesty bar which leaves nothing to be desired. The pool looks gorgeous too with a generous area around it to enjoy a leasurly afternoon. We were there in winter and the rooms warmed up very quickly with a good and quiet A/C. Can't wait to go back.

Loved the rooms and pool area. Staff were very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Location was great, felt very safe and nice to be slightly out of town.

I think the breakfast buffet options could have changed a bit more. Having a different fruit offering day to day and perhaps some fresh pastries would have been lovely.

Super friendly staff and landlady. Car-Hiring was organised within one hour. Available Parking Space. Although we arrived in the morning, hours before regular check-in-time after a very long flight, our room was magically prepared and ready within a short time, while we were offered coffee and snacks. Compared to other accommodations in Capetown which might be more upscale and expensive, Fernwood Manor beats them all!

Rooms are super comfortable and have absolutely everything that one would need. Staff are super helpful!! And the breakfast was outstanding! I will definitely be staying there again. Location was also perfect!!

There was a family with kids there and the kids were extremely noisy. Not the properties fault.

The room I resided in was phenomenal! Loved it and will certainly book that room again.

The glasses in the bathroom still had pink lipstick on from the previous guest? Both - the pink lipstick was also on the covers of the glasses. The glasses in the kitchenette had a funny smell. And I decided not to use them any longer as it gave off a funny taste to my drink. This was the only thing that bothered me a little.

A lovely oasis in a safe area of Cape Town. Nice big, comfortable room, a pretty garden, good pool, and an excellent breakfast. all the staff were very helpful and accommodating, even organising an evening meal as a special request on our first night which was very much appreciated. highly recommended.
