Fresh fruit salad at breakfast daily

Stairs and more .33 stairs from.parking area to guest bedrooms. Not for any one with walking disability.not a great location for dining at night. Nothing in area. Need to drive to either Umhlanga village or eateries in Mc Kuertan rd Durban North or Glenore centre Glen Ashley . All few kms from guesthouse

Everything was absolutely amazing. Rene is a great host, very sweet and welcoming. She made sure we were comfortable and didn't hover when we wanted space.

Rene made contact with me on the day I was to arrive to ensure I knew where I was going and assured me she would be waiting to meet me on arrival. She was absolutely fantastic, had all the Covid protocols in place and showed me to my gorgeous, well laid out room and explained how her beautiful B&B was run and what I could expect. She handed me a comprehensive menu to make a selection of our preferred breakfast for the morning. She also offered some suggestions for restaurants within close proximity for dinner, if required. Our breakfast was to die for and exceeded all expectations. We sat outside our room, on the verandah overlooking the magnificent La Lucia valley taking in the breathtaking view of the ocean and cargo ships waiting in line to gain access to the harbour. A parfait glass filled with muesli, fresh fruit, yoghurt and honey to start, was a meal in itself, and so scrumptious. My main meal comprised, scrambled egg, bacon, tomato, and mushrooms, with toast. My daughter too had the parfait and french toast, bacon and honey, as her main, which too was delicious. Finishing off this more than adequate meal with a delightful cup of tea served in the most beautiful crockery and fresh fruit juice. Plenty to eat and fit for a King. The decor, ambience and location is outstanding, and we will be sure visit Rene again when next we are in the area. I give it a 10/10 across the board.

Nothing. Rene has not left a stone unturned. Great secure location, excellent staff, outstanding and comfortable accommodation and exceptional food. A true home away from home experience.

The Staff was amazing and very helpful, they ironed my clothing and the breakfast was delicious. The views were beautiful from my room. I would go back.

The accommodation overall was excellent! The breakfast was great as well! Great area, great staff, great overall experience, incredibly clean! Highly recommend!

Breakfast was excellent and the place is very neat, clean and enjoyable to stay at. Rene herself is a very good host thst engages with people.

Staff was helpful and friendly. Was a more a feeling of staying with friends as apposed to a guest house. Breakfast on the terrace was lovely with the "wild life" and sea views.

Shower was a little low on pressure

Our colleagues always enjoy staying at the guest house when they travel for work. It is in a great location and provides a comfortable stay for business travelers with WiFi, good breakfast and free parking.

Your location sign is hidden. We couldn't see that we have arrived and made a u-turn.

Very nice location, views, garden, staff and nice breakfast. Will def stay here again on my next visit.
