A very peaceful and serene place with a nice staff and value-for-money amenities. A very unique experience. The reception ladies are very nice and the location is very top-notch

They do not allow cannabis smoking in the premises which is silly because cannabis is legal in SA. To have a smoke you have to go outside the premises. You are not even allowed to find a secluded spot (there are many of them on the premises) to have a smoke. They also did not inform me in advance that the WiFi was going to be down on the day i checked in. However, it was back up the next day

The quietness and easy accessibility to the venue.

The is less outside light visible on the passages to the rooms,even though there are lots of trees and roots. If u don't have a torch. You many trip and fall. And also the direction Map to the rooms from the parking is not in order. Our room was ok. The bathroom is too small(very small) and the shower did not have a complete door, and the shower drain and Basin drain was not working properly. My partner and I could not share a shower. Or be in the bathroom at the same time.

Their meals and quiet environment. It's a big place and rooms are beautiful

There was shortage or water in Brooklyn which affected the facility. I will recommend that as the facility have solar panels to prevent load shedding from affecting them, they should also have a way of powering water to prevent such shortages in future

Thank you for assisting me by placing a microwave in our room. I need it for medical reasons, have to heat up a bean bag for cramps. (I will be booking with you each time I have to go for follow up and medical treatment at Little Company of Mary) Your bedding was fresh.

The room was cold, but that is nothing you can do as it was a very cold night. The blanket was a great help.

We liked the design, the space, the privacy within the house, we liked the antique furniture and decor with a touch of modern and rich in old Afrikaans history. The space is relaxing and calm. The staff is friendly. The bed was comfortable with clean sheets.

We didn’t really like the carpet, it was a bit dirty. Overall the place was clean but could’ve been a bit more cleaner.

Load-shedding - no back-up power at night, but noticed there was back-up power in the morning Consider sharing/alerting customers of the load-shedding schedule for the area during check-in- just to make sure phones are charged before power goes off

The property was clean and well maintained. The beds were comfortable and warm. The shower worked perfectly and was nice and hot. The wifi worked well.

The one room had a balcony that was covered in leaves and didn’t have a chair or table to sit on so my mom had to sit on a ledge on the balcony.

Exceptionally clean rooms and friendly and helpful staff. They assisted us with our late arrival after our flight was delayed and we arrived 2-hours after check-in had closed and we could leave our baggage at front desk while we attended our meetings after we had already checked out. They will be our dedicated guest house for future corporate travels.

If I had to nit-pick two things, I would have liked more coffee and milk sachets. Travelling for work means late nights preparing for meetings, I had to split a sachet between the evening and morning. The other small issue was the light in the area with a mirror was faulty, so it flickered continuously. This made getting dressed for my meetings (including hair and make-up) a tad more difficult. I ended up using the bedside lamp.

From the moment you step into the gate, you are transformed to another world. One filled with calmness and serenity. Staff are super friendly and helpful. There are so many private seating areas where you can wind down and relax after a tough day. The rooms are immaculate, clean and very stylish, but makes you feel at home. The gardens are magically amazing with so many special little nooks and crannies. The Cafe is the perfect place to end off your day with a scrumptious meal and something to drink. Its the most beautiful, mesmorising venue filled with lights, a fireplace and most amazing pizza oven. The waiter goes above and beyond and really ensures that he fullfills his clients wishes. Food is extremely fresh and delicious! Communication is quick and effective. Definitely a winning team running this guesthouse!

We stayed in a little cottage/room this time. It has a cute garden area with lush greens around us. We had our own entrance that was not part of the house.

We were a little cold, the shutter window didn’t close properly and the room was tiled. It felt a bit cold with the breeze. But all was fine.
