My boyfriend and his friend really enjoyed their stay and the close proximity to both the Republic of Congo embassy and Hatfield station. The accommodation was comfortable, clean, and suited their needs perfectly. It was also reasonably priced.

As the accommodation is called "Bed and Breakfast in Hatfield," I assumed breakfast would be included. This was not so, and I believe this is misleading. 6 the morning, we were advised that breakfast is an additional R 146.00 pp. I went back to the accommodation details, and this was stated in the small print, which I had misread. Still, it is important to note that the price does not include breakfast as advertised in the heading / name of the accommodation.

We had a very late arrival, at 10PM. Runja welcomed us and was very friendly. Our family room had comfy beds, warm bedding and heaters for the cold night. Even rusks and some milk in the fridge to make some coffee. The breakfast the next day was great. Some of us ordered Poached eggs,,,that aren't the easiest to make...and they were perfect. The location is great with safe inside parking. We could have a look at the artist studio and see some of his artworks, which was a bonus. Thank you for a great stay. All the staff were friendly and helpful, especially Runja.

Our family room had a shared bathroom in the middle between two rooms. It was a bit awkward having to go through the bathroom to our room. But for the price, the inconvenience is a minor!

The rooms are partially protected against loadshedding giving you lights and a plug for charging which isn’t something you can get everywhere. The rooms have more than everything you’d need and the coffee machine is a nice addition. Rooms are clean and everything is in a good condition.

Not a complaint however the only negative was a plumbing issue with pipes outside the room. The staff were attentive and actually alerted me to the problem when it occurred and moved me to a new room to fix the problem. Very professional and hands on.

The room we stayed in was very spacious and had all the amenities for a short stay. The staff and especially the manager Runya were helpful and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful, a little bit of peace and quiet in the centre of Hatfield.

I think the owners will have to look at alternative means of cooking for their guests as there are no ways to cook, boil a kettle etc when load shedding or power outages strike. Lights, shower, TV etc are fine it is just cooking.

The property was an easy & safe walk from the Gautrain station in Hatfield. It was a lovely quiet neighbourhood & all the jacarandas were in bloom. It was a boiling hot day so the pool was an added bonus. I enjoyed the privacy of being in the end room upstairs as a single lady traveller. There was ‘proper’ coffee, fresh milk & the most delicious rusks. Things that mean a lot to me!! The bathroom was spacious with a bath & shower & all essential toiletries.

I loved the welcome, I was welcomed by the owner herself. She contacted me while I was on my way to find out how I was doing. I enjoyed the espresso 😋. They have an espresso making machine in every room The room , the bed was big, clean, comfortable. 8

Lovely relaxed and spacious accommodation. Feels secluded in a quiet area but is very central and within walking distance to Guatrain in Hatfield. Very helpful and responsive reception. Very well equipped rooms! This was my second stay, and it will definitely remain my go-to place for future visits.

Exceptional service - accomodating and everyone, all staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the little extras like the bubble bath. Great value for money. Location central and close to all facilities. Breakfast not a wide variety but delicious and well prepared. As a solo traveller, I felt safe and secure. Highly recommended!

Everything was perfect.

My room was very comfortable. I was allowed to check out late due to a business meeting. The breakfast was very nice. Desiree was a very friendly host

Unfortunately there was quite a bit of noise due to some construction in the yard.

Breakfast was amazing, everything was fresh and quite a variety. Liked the location as it enabled me to get around Pretoria and JHB quite easily. Very friendly staff. Shower water pressure was excellent.
