This is the third time I stayed at this property this year … why? The location suits me fine, close to Kangnam station exit 5 , shops, cafes, restaurants, fast and Korean street food as well as Kangnam station underground shopping

Maybe cleaning service ringing the door bell to clean the room (in all fairness this happens late morning)

Great location, nearby restaurants and subway station. Easy to catch a taxi or Uber. Close to clinics and walking distance to shopping area in the basement of the subway. Comfortable room and spacious. Small kitchen well equipped with pots and pants, cutleries and dishes.

The bathroom was too small and no place to put your toilet bag or any other amenities. Could use some renovation and reorganize the layout. No view from the room, facing the back of another building. AC did not work properly as well as heating system did not work properly, was not able to lower the temperature.

great location, safe, comfortable & clean. Staff could be more resourceful helpiing guests getting rides get to different places, subway maps, clean affordable restaurants near by etc especially for people who cannot speak korean & not familiar with seoul.

staff could been more knowledgeable or more willing to help guests. need a wall clock or other way of indicating time of the day in the room

Clean and spacious, has everything you could possibly need in my opinion. The cleaning staff are super nice!

Couldn’t figure out the smart TV function which wasn’t that big of a deal. The one male staff at the front desk, usually at night, is pretty rude…we checked in pretty late at night but needed an extra blanket and he didn’t really put in the effort to find us one and just said that’s not something he does. Other staff were nice.

I loved the design of the inside of the hotel and the rooms. Some may say it seems dated but its just vintage and classy. It is also very big for what normal Asia hotels normally have. I got upgraded to a bigger room and it felt like a small apartment with a couch, coffee table and small kitchen. I was happy there was even a small washer/dryer in one so I was able to get some laundry done. This place was the perfect spot for myself personally. I was in Gangnam to have plastic surgery and the room had a big refrigerator, freezer and plenty of area to walk around during my recovery. The inside felt so cozy with the lighting, wooden floors and atmosphere. I didn't use the tv much but I slept decent except the walls maybe a little bit thin so sometimes you can hear people. The staff are also very professional and helpful. They assisted me with extending my stay a few days because I really liked it there. It was also only a 3-5 minute walk to Gangnam station Exit 5. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and some pubs around the hotel as well as the underground Gangnam station has shopping too. I didn't try the hotel restaurant but it seemed to be popular among the guests. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to stay a few nights or even longer in Gangnam. It is a beautiful, vintage hotel but really lovely and I would stay here again when I come to Gangnam.

I think only complaints were the walls were a little thin so I could hear some people sometimes and my toilet kept getting clogged but it was fixed when I let the staff know about it.

Excellent location with varieties of restaurants, food stands. Lots of bakeries and coffee places. Lots of convenient stores and organic stores with quality fruits. Also subway station was close. I especially loved the convenience of having a coffee shop and gimbab place right downstairs.

Hotel was dark in colors. Hallway, rooms.. Needs little upgrading.

excellent location within walking distance from Kangnam station, shops, convenience stores, buses, subway etc., also I got a free room upgrade compliments from the hotel

the room was quite dark, and had to turn on all the lighting even during the day.. the room was hot (but bearable) and I had to keep the window open as I wasn’t sure how to turn on the AC… I was there only for a few days mid May (it was 30 degrees C by the way)

The food was terrific, and the room was at the corner. It was so much larger than I thought it was going to be. I recommend this place for its location and value. It was worth the money for my birthday.

There was nothing I didn't like. The location was fine, and the staff was friendly. I hope that I have the chance to stay again in the near future for a more extended period of time.

The room was huge with everything a guest might need. It was well worth the price. The location is near everything best about Seoul. Close to subway and busses and great restaurants night life.

I have no complaints.
