My preferred accommodation in Seoul is Hotel Peyto which is due to the convenience of the location. It's very near Yangjae station - about a 3 minute walk to Exits 1 and 2. It's very near Gangnam - only one stop away in the Shinbundang metro line. There are plenty of buses which stop opposite the hotel. There are few banks near the hotel where AUD could be changed. The rooms are small and compact but have the necessities within the small space. The 6009 airport bus, stops opposite the hotel and it's so convenient to get to Incheon airport in Seoul which costs 17,000 krw. As our flight was in the night, we made use of the late check out option for 11,000 krw per hour. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby including a KFC which is about 10 minutes away by foot.

There wasn't anything which we didn't like. It's only a wish - we wished that there were English breakfast tea sachets available in the room. 🙂

The location was great as it was very near to bus and subway stations. The room was clean and modern and was very quiet despite being on a main street. The cost per night is very good value.

The refrigerator is much too small for any real use. The bathroom and bedroom are separated by a glass wall. Though there is a venetian blind on the glass wall, the bedroom would still light up when the bathroom light is turned on. This would disturb the sleep of my spouse and visa versa. Suggest the glass wall be provided with 100% blackout curtains.The bath towels are very worn and torn; all should be replaced. We stayed a total of 19 days - on the last day, we wanted to extend our check out time by 3 hours - however, we were requested to pay an hourly rate - I thought the hotel should have made the 3 hours complimentary due to our 19 days stay.

Just in front of the bus stop! I always stay here because the airport bus stop is in front of the hotel. It’s also near a lot of coffee shops and Mcdonald’s and 7-11–very convenient location!

All good so far—there’s just a minor problem with WiFi password but they sent a staff to clarify it righr away.

I liked the cooperation and hospitality of the staff room were cleaned well almost all the time, the location of thr hotel is very convenient with main transport methods and its near by restaurants and cafes

This is a very well run hotel. While the rooms are small, I believe this is par for the course in downtown Seoul. The staff were friendly and they have a good breakfast spread. The location is nice, just a short walk to the subway. There is a gym close by that charges $15US for a day pass. Laundry machine on site is a big plus for someone who is staying for a long period like me. This hotel caters to business travelers, but I found it very suitable for vacationers.

Small rooms

The room was very clean and the free Wifi was very fast. They would leave 2 x free bottles of water every day once they had cleaned my room which I appreciated. Staff were helpful and friendly, they would often book taxis on my behalf or suggest places to eat with a printed map. They gave a 20% discount at their coffee shop next door which was a nice touch. The Hotel location was on a main road but it was a 3 minute walk to Yangjae Station which was very convenient.

The hotel gym wasn't very good. Small room with a lack of equipment, cheap bench which made me feel worried it would break. The dumbells had all the weight info scratched off so i couldn't tell what i was lifting. The breakfast was OK, I was paying around 19,000 KW / $14 USD per day and the quality wasn't great. The food had been out for a while each day and you could taste it.

Spacious room and clean. Excellent coffe shop downstairs. They give give a discount if you show your room key. I like their bathroom products.

There was nothing I didn’t like about it.

everything was perfect: location: near metro and just opposite the bus station with many cafe and restaurants around bed: bed was comfy and the pillows too gym: the mats there are awesome and the other technics were at place too washing machine: just in 2 hours the fresh and dry clothing, amazing! shower: the best toilet which is warming when you are sitting on it, and the shower with the best cosmetic in there. my hairs and skin are very thankful for this choice. everything was great and even the reception girl helped us to order a taxi to train station.

when it was rainy they told us on reception that they have umbrellas that are costing 5 000 per each. that was strange, it’s not comparable with the price you pay per night… either the umbrella should be free, either cost should be higher…

Nice location on Gangnam-daero, the street that almost never sleeps true to Seoul's vibe (had no issues finding grocery shop at 3am, for example). Personnel was very kind and attended to all our requests. Really good noise insulation - we couldn't hear traffic outside on a very busy street.

Small room, but it looks like it is the case for many hotels in Gangnam. Wardrobe was really small - we didn't have a lot of clothes but couldn't fit even half of them.

Nice hotel in a great area. Close to Yangje station and east walking distance to Gangnam station and area for great shopping and food. The rooms were clean and had space for clothes (not all do) and a good sized bathroom. The air con was easy to use and the bed very comfy.

I thought the rooms were quite small (we had an urban deluxe double with a bath) If you have a bath you don’t get a full length mirror. There’s not much space around the bed. But it’s ok if you keep today and we were out most of the time anyway.
