I stayed for 3 nights for sightseeing in Seoul. I had a hard time choosing a hotel because there is a lot of information available on the internet. The reason I decided on this hotel was conveniently located (3 stations are within walking distance, including the nearest station, which is 3 minutes away) and the room itself was spacious. Dongdaemun and Gwangjang Market are within walking distance, and Myeongdong is also within walking distance if you are fine. The receptionist can speak Japanese. There is a convenience store in the building, which is convenient. The hotel itself is not new, but it is well cleaned. There are no problems with the sink area. The washroom and toilet(and bathtub shower) are in separate areas. There is one chair in the washroom area. There are two chairs in the room. There is also a table. There is also space to put a suitcase, and the room is spacious enough. Also, the route bus to Incheon Airport stops in front of the hotel. There are quite a few buses. No reservation is required and it costs 17,000 won per person. It stops at several hotels in the city so it takes a little time, but it still takes an hour and a half from Seoul city to Incheon Airport. It was very convenient compared to using the subway and airport train with a suitcase.

I stayed in a twin room, but there was no outlet at the pillow of one of the beds, which was a bit of a minus point. (Nowadays, traveling is accompanied by a cell phone and charging it.) Toothbrushes are not provided, so you need to bring your own.

I booked a Deluxe Double Twin room for my family holiday. The room is spacious for the four of us and plenty of space to put our 5 luggages. The room is very clean and the hotel is conveniently located near a subway station and a bus stop The airport bus stop (6015) is right in front of the hotel and there is also a convenient store on the ground floor

Unfortunately I can't set the room temperature since the AC is controlled centrally. I found the room is too warm.so I had to open the window to let some cool air but I get more noise from the street

The hotel location is superb. It is so handy to the subway with the elevator entry and exit. That would help if you have to catch the train to the airport with a large luggage. Otherwise you can catch the limousine airport bus where they drop you off and pick up right at the hotel entrance. Bus stop and the Eulji Plaza are just next door with a lot variety of the food choices. Room size are spacious. It is nice and clean. If you want a good place to rest and a good location to explore with all the public transport at your doorstep then this place will suit you best.

The hotel staffs could be more friendly and more cooperative. It seems like they are not willing to help as you asked for the information. Their English communication is not great, they need to improve. The other downside point is the hotel didn't have the self laundry for guess to use if they stayed for a longer period . Also the microwave in the room would be great as well.

No Toothbrush provided but not a major issue because you can get it at the convenient store at level 1.

The hotel is very conveniently located to the airport shuttle, metro and buses. The room sizes are large and well equipped.

The laundry facilities do not cater to a pickup other than 9am-12pm, which is when one is never in the hotel. The room was always dusty; when we raised this issue in the reception, especially about lots of dirt under the bed as well, the person shouted out my concern as if wondering why this is an issue for me. In the end, the area under the bed was kept dirty.

It was a really nicely presented hotel, pleasant staff and a great sized room. Although the decor is a little tired, it delivers on comfort and practicality.

The only drawback for us was that the hotel did not have washing machines. When you are on a long stay it is a definite necessity to maintain your stay. On the site it indicated Laundry and it is very typical in Asian hotels to have coin machines, so we were disappointed with this.

Convenient Location: The hotel's proximity to the bus stop and metro station was a major plus. Even on rainy days, it was a quick and easy walk to reach public transportation. Quiet Atmosphere: The hotel's location away from the hustle and bustle of the city center ensured a peaceful and quiet night's sleep. Walking Distance to Myeongdong: Being within walking distance of Myeongdong allowed for easy access to shopping, dining, and entertainment options.

The location of Hotel Kukdo is perfect, located centrally in Seoul city, surrounded by most attractions like Gwangjang market, Myeongdong & Sewon Makercity, not forgetting that this hotel is easy accessible to metro station, city bus stop & airport limousine bus (bus 6015).

The air conditioner for entire hotel was not functioning during winter season. We stayed during the transition from winter to spring, the room was hot and stuffy at night without the air conditioner. It would be better if hotel could offer to turn on the air conditioner on ad-hoc basis for those who needs it.

Airport bus for Icheon Airport is right in front of Hotel. Subway station is 2 mins walk. All markets and Myeongdong are within walking distance. Location is quiet and is sort of within streets with local shops and hardware stores which is nice to walk around. Regarding the actual rooms in hotel - beds are comfortable, rooms more spacious than other hotels we stayed in Korea. We traveled with 3 teenagers. We were given 2 joined rooms - double and 3 beds which was very nice.
