The location was excellent.. its in the heart of myeongdong.. just take the lift, step out of the building and everything is there.. and since its nearest to the cathedral, its not too loud as well.. The counter staff were all very friendly, helpful and able to communicate well in English.. The fact that you can leave your luggages before check-in and after check-out is a huge bonus.. the counter staff did not question much when you waited at the waiting/kitchen area while we waited for our taxi to airport.. we just gotta be mindful of the other guests.. and not make too much noise..

The location is in the heart of Seoul, access to everything you need is there. The bed is comfortable and has a good size.

The blind you can pull to close the bed off was a bit noisy, which could create some unwanted noise at night. I would prefer a curtain. There was some moisture caused by the AC, especially on the too bed opposite the AC, where I was sleeping. The sheets would feel a bit moist which wasn't the best feeling when going to sleep. The bathroom is quite small, especially the sink, but not a huge problem..

Its right at the top of Myeongdong street and close to literally everything. Your close to both the blue and green train lines, allllll of the shopping, delicious food and sightseeing activities are easy to get to from the hotel walking or train. Our room on the 12th floor is exactly as pictured under the family room booking with views of the Seoul Tower and Myeongdong street. If you want this room, request it and they will see jf they can accommodate but there are other family rooms available. The breakfast is a simple continental breakfast. The staff are all so nice and helpful

This isnt a luxury hotel so set your expectations appropriately. The only down side for us is that by American standards the beds are pretty hard.

The staff are friendly and helpful, they can speak English, Chinese, Japanese and, of course, Korean. I asked the staff to help me print out a certificate, no problem at all. The luggage can be stored after checking out for free. And there is a weight scale in the corridor, for better packaging. The facility is basic but good enough, such as a small refrigerator in the room and microwave oven in the common area of the lobby. The location is amazing, just going down to the street, the famous night market is right there.

Location is great. Myeongdong night market is just right in front of doorstep with plenty of food. Relatively good price for those going on budget trip.

I stayed in Quadruple room for 4pax and to be honest, it's kinda cramp. 2 in 1 Toilet cum bathroom is rather squeezy too. If you are travelling with young children or elder people, then you shouldn't choose this place cos' it is a distance away from Myeongdong subway. If you are taking a taxi, you should direct the taxi driver to Royal Hotel instead. And walk over next door. The Hostel is in the 10th n 11th floor of Taehyung building.

The breakfast. Made it for breakfast once and was disappointed but no big deal but what I didn't like was no lock in the bathroom so you can't have a nice relaxing poo without the thought of someone going to come in 😢

the room was small but compact, no need for something more if you're backpacking. bed was kinda comfy and everything there was clean. in front of the reception, there was a place where you can prepare your own meal or eat hotel's breakfast (ofc within specific hours). the weren't a curfew so you can get in and out whether you want to. btw hotel was in the middle of 'myeongdong' district, subway station and buses were about 7-9 min walk and 'seoul station' was around 20 min from there.

unfortunately, the lockers were too small for a cabin baggages to fit in so everyone had to put them on the floor besides the beds.

One of the best hostels I’ve stayed in!!! The location is very central in Myeongdong. Everything is accessible. It is literally next to Olive Young!! Night market in Myeongdong is just right outside. The room is very compact yet it has everything you need!! It has a fridge inside! The staff are very welcoming! Especially SEHEE. He greeted is with a smile on our very first day in Korea and that made all the difference. He is very accommodating and helpful and always has a smile on his face!! 감사합니다! SEHEE!! The staff also kindly organised our transport even if we did request it at the last minute!!! Will definitely check-in here if ever we come back to SKorea!!’
