Overall it was pretty good!

Location! The hotel is so nice but I would not consider to stay again next time because of the location.

For breakfast we expected a typical continental but the reality was not quite the full english but hot food available freshly cooked on request. Hotel is within easy walking distance to the main RAMBLAS but TAXI required if you want to go to the beaches.

Not the hotels fault but some guests with children expected the roof top pool to be a playground area whereas it is a bar with a small plunge pool. Unfortunately we were mugged going into the hotel so maybe the hotel in this area could extend their meet and greet of guests to the outside of the doors.

The room we got was in the bad condition, apparently there was an issue with a drainage piping system, non stop very loud sounded like banging noise. The bathroom area doesn’t have a privacy, the sink is in the middle of the room and no door to the shower. Room is very tight, bathroom shower and toilet looked old, poor condition. But after compliant, the room immediately changed to a better one, slightly larger, at much better condition, but still no privacy. But overall with a change of a room , that made our stay more pleasant. Also, for the price was paid the breakfast should have been included, but it was not in our case.

Hotel is clean and just 5-6 mins walk from Ramblas. Staff was very nice and helpful.

The showers/bath in the rooms have no privacy and the TV had a very limited number of working stations.

Location of the hotel is a bit disappointing. I would not let my kids or my wife walk alone during the night

Lovely hotel for family stay (12 people). Breakfast was very good and staff very accommodating.

It would have be great to have indoor pool - rooftop really not a pool as advertised.

Excellent hotel with modern facilities, rooms are spacious and have the comfiest bed and superb shower. Explored Barcelona during the day but really happy to relax back at the hotel in the evening. Comfy and excellent location, short walk down an old street filled with shops, cafes and bars and your on La Rambla where everything is happening. Stroll towards the port after a coffee or wine and you’re in a busy location for shopping, eating, boating or even sunbathing or playing volleyball on the beach . Staff super friendly and offer lots of information to help you make the most of your stay. We stayed in the Deluxe room and would love to stay here again, maybe in April when it’s spring. Try all the different seasons to get the best of everything. Enjoy Barceló .. it’s ace. Sone negative reviews of the area, we didn’t have any problems, we are from UK Manchester and if your used to visiting Cities you’ll understand that life is as it is.. a city and not the countryside 😃😃

Nothing! We loved everything

The location was great. The breakfast was good too. The room (we got an upgrade offer from the desk) was good but the design was a bit off. The room was a semicircle and by design the space felt awkward. Also the color was a bit off too much red and black. But it's all matter of taste. The service was good, they cleaned the room everyday and would bring us new toiletries with even a toothbrush and a razor. The room service was good too.

Also the whole hotel is surrounded with metal mesh which makes looking from the window a bit difficult and even can make you feel vertigo. The whole point of semi circular room was to see the city from above, but this mesh ruins it. Also you cannot open a window by yourself. Not even a tiny crack

Our stay was lovely. Hotel clean tidy and lovely decor. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. Didn't eat in the hotel so cant comment on the food. Location was good but if walking around at night please be wary and vigilant with your belongings. There were some homeless people around the streets of the hotel . Pick pocketing is very common so just be on alert. It didn't dampen our stay, We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and exploring Barcelona. We would return. The roof top bar was a lovely added bonus with amazing views of the city. Location great central and a few minutes walk to La ramblas.

The hotel staff gave us a great welcome when we arrived. The hotel reception is easy to use and a bit different to most hotels in how it looks. The rooms are comfy, well equipped (a working fridge is very useful in Barcelona), clean, nice beds, a/c and brilliant shower. The 360 roof terrace is a really nice place to sit, the bar is not too over priced but still worth enjoying a city view with a drink.

The bathrooms lack privacy if you are not happy with someone seeing you shower but as long as you stay on the beds when someone else is showering you will be fine. Although the location of the hotel is great for visiting the city, especially if you are going to an event at the Olympic stadium, there are some questionably character in the streets near by but if you keep your belongings out of sight or protected you should be ok.
