Convenient location. Small scale property (which I prefer). Great staff.

Room was a bit small. It appeared out the back window that the hotel had an empty lot. The hotel behind it had a swimming pool (just an idea).

Very good location, close to everything and room is very good and clean.

When first checked in the staff that checked us in was pretty rude, felt like she didn’t want us to be speaking to her. Made me feel pretty uncomfortable staring I had got the “basic room” as if that was the worst thing I could possibly get.

Location is perfect, 1 min from Placa de Catalunya. Room is clean. Bathroom is spacious.

Location was perfect. Close to metro station and access to public transport. Room was small, but good for solo or business travelers. three minutes walking distance to La Rambla street, one of the main tourist area in the city. there was no kettle in the room, but when asked the reception, they have provided it.

I booked a single room and the windows in my room was facing inside the hotel! like in a circle, not a nice design! and the view from the windows was other other rooms in the hotel! and it was not comfortable at all. Not enough natural light coming to the room as well! basically even during the day, you have to turn on the light. I stayed during the winter, meanwhile the room was super hot!! and I could not turn off the heating system as it was central!, so I had to ask reception to do it from their side, even after that , it was still too hot and it really made me very uncomfortable, so I had to walk outside the hotel to get cool! I stayed 4 nights and only the last night, the temperature back to normal after turning the hearter off in second day!

The hotel is in an excellent location very close tomorrow Placa de Catalunya. The reception staff and the doorman were very helpful, friendly and polite. The breakfast was very good.

My single room was quite small with a chair that did not fit between the bed and desk. I found the room temperature was too hot at night but I could not find any controls to reduce it. The bathroom was clean but looked tired and in need of refurbishment.

Location 10 out of 10. Extremely central. Everything at your door step. Nice modern hotel, breakfast good, staff extremely nice & helpful. Great value for money!!!

Very nice place with a helpful staff. The location is perfect - right next to the Catalonya Square. The bus from/to the airport has its end stop very close to the hotel. A lot of shops around and fairly close to a few tourist attractions. If you don't mind a little bit of walk, it is also fairly close to the beach (about 20-30 minutes on foot). I did not get the hotel breakfasts so cannot comment on this. Generally, highly recommend.

It would be nice to have a kettle in the room. They do offer free coffee and tea but you need to go downstairs for it.

My room overlooked a very dirty back yard, full of cigarette butts. Kettle and iron/ironing board are available but not in the room

Our stay at Exe Plaza Catalunya in Barcelona was extremely pleasant and satisfying. The view from our balcony was truly stunning, offering a spectacular panoramic outlook of the surroundings. Additionally, exploring the rooftop, we were delighted by yet another surprising vantage point that further enriched our experience. The hotel staff was very friendly and professional, always available to assist and provide information about local attractions. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location of Exe Plaza Catalunya, near Plaza Catalunya square, was excellent. We had easy access to major tourist destinations, restaurants, and shops, maximizing our time in Barcelona. All in all, the experience at Exe Plaza Catalunya was exceptionally positive. I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation with a beautiful view and outstanding staff in the heart of Barcelona.

Friendly, fast an efficient serviced Hotel within a marvelous location, near Plaza Catalunya, at the very City center. Greatfor walking Tours or starting hopon-off bus. The Hotel is Easy to find. There are several bus routes including airport bus ( so you don’t even have to take a Taxi) just a block a way and also train lines which take you everywhere in no time. There are lots of Restaurants , cafes and shops nearby, including great jazz bar ( with live music) and absolutely great Cocktails almost crossing the street and also a pub with live music.

We didn’t like the breakfast room. It does not look attractive, makes the hotel look a bit cheap.
