H10 Universitat was a lovely hotel! The location is great - close to Las Ramblas but far enough away from the noise and chaos. The metro is about a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The area is full of restaurants, shops and coffee shops. Also after 4 weeks of travel, we needed and found a great eco-laundry, Splash, about a 10 min walk from the hotel. Upon arrival, we were able to check in early and were upgraded to a bigger room because it was available. Much to our surprise, staff delivered a plate of tasty chocolate coved strawberries! In the afternoon, the reception has complimentary refreshments in the lobby. The beds were so comfortable the bath was large. Will definitely stay here again! The staff was amazing!

The location was amazing. Close to Corte Inglés and many restaurants and stores. The hotel was modern and beautiful. We were upgraded to a suite and had a balcony with a view to the street which was perfect. The amenities were great. Room was clean and comfortable with a couch and two tvs. Nespresso coffee machine in the room with water and mini bar. We ordered room service and it came pretty fast. The “tortilla and pan con tomate” was delicious. The pizza not so much. The front desk personnel were courteous and very welcoming. They gave us directions to get to our tour. Since we arrived early they kept our luggage safe and by the time we got back they had been delivered to our room. Great hotel!

Modern interior design. Bathroom was huge that had double showers and nice bath tub that is almost as large as room and complementary fancy bottled water and coffee machine. Great location, near different restaurants , cafes, bakeries, and souvenir/clothing/dept stores. If we are back in Barcelona, we definitely will consider staying here again so we can further explore the area as we only stayed one night to get on our cruise ship (about 15 - 20 min. by taxi to cruise terminal) the next day.

The room rate was pricey but we had to rent the larger room for 2 beds to allow our teenage kids stay with us. The one room rate was still lower cost than getting 2 separate rooms.

From the moment we arrived at the hotel the welcome was amazing. The staff were so accommodating with special mention of Noelia and Arianna who were so helpful. Beautiful spacious room with fabulous bathroom. The hotel is in a great location, surrounded by great restaurants and shopping and the rooftop bar was fabulous after a day out.The breakfast offered in the hotel was excellent.Public transport is a very close walk. Do not stay anywhere else in Barcelona.

Leaving

The room was overall quiet, we were happy that we could turn off the heating/AC entirely since it was not needed, and even if we were facing a bustling street the windows had good isolation. The bed was huge, and while on the soft side, it was very comfortable. We particularly liked the breakfast, which had plenty of options and some really good croissants. If you decide to stay here make sure to take a trip to the last floor to enjoy a cocktail on their terrace and take in the views. The location is within walking distance of all the major attractions in Barcelona, close to the metro stations, and right across the hotel you can find a really good specialty coffee.

-Really great location! -Friendly staff -They let us do early check in! Which was great because we have been through a long day before coming there. -Rooftop bar was nice. We only went to check it out but the vibes were good and the view also.

-Slow elevator , sometimes we preferred taking the stairs because of this. -we stayed at room 406, I asked for a quiet room far from the elevator and the stairs and the hotel gave me that room but the walls and doors are not soundproof at all. I could hear my neighbors kiss outside and the door slamming, We could hear them talk in the room and flashing down the toilet...it felt like we shared a room with them but only with the sounds they made.

The location was ideal for exploring Barcelona, Staff extremely friendly and helpful, room was very clean and the Terrace bar was a great place to wind down in the evening with magnificent view of the city.

The room was very clean but a little too small with very little daylight. I think we drew the short straw on the room because we had an internal room with very little natural light, however I believe thee are larger rooms available with a balcony, saying that apart from sleeping we did not spend that much time in the room because there is so much to do in the city.

Great location with many restaurants and terraces nearby. A lot of options for public transportation and direct bus from the airport stops a short 5 minutes walk away. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff in general very friendly. At check-in get offered something to drink which is a nice gesture. Breakfast was great with friendly waiters and worth the money.

Bed was a bit warm, but still very comfortable.

I loved the amazing customer service at the hotel and how seamless they made our experience whilst staying at H10. It's a very clean and quiet hotel. They were kind enough to bring champagne to our room as it was my husband's birthday whilst there and even though he did not drink it, we were really grateful!! Thank you so much. H10 is central to any sightseeing trips you may have in mind, the Metro is on your doorstep and there are so many eating establishments to choose from in close proximity.

Clean rooms and friendly staff in a great location and perfect if you are not planning to spend much time inside the room

The room window directly faced other rooms' windows and all on such close distance that if you did open your curtain all the other rooms on same floors and a few other floors could easily see inside your room. When asked for a different room we were told all standard double rooms had the same type of windows with zero privacy. But this was never mentioned in room specifications!
