The location is awesome!!! Gothic Quarter is a must see in Barcelona! Right near the Gothic Cathedral and you can just walk and you will come past so much to see and so many little shops down little back streets! This hotel is lovely, clean and good price. We were in roof top room with balcony and views which was amazing!!!!

Breakfast!!!!!!! We paid for breakfast included with our room, we went the first day, and I honestly couldn’t eat any of the food. It was almost cold, and the taste was terrible!!!!! Orange juice watered down. I took two bites of sausage and egg and we left. Didn’t even bother with the next day we had paid for. Honestly, it’s the worst I have ever experienced.

The hotel is almost in the center of the city, near the Barcelona Cathedral, near the metro station or bus stops. the hotel staff was accommodating, upon request, the manager changed our room to a room with a balcony and a view of the street. The hotel manager is friendly and professional. Rooms clean - cleaning without problems. About 4 bus stops to the beach - about 15 min. The price is higher, but it is probably related to the great location.

The breakfast well priced at 10 Euros, the room had a balcony which had sound proof doors, location was close to everything in the Gothic Quarter and a few steps from the Jaume I stop. The staff was always willing to help and friendly.

The AC got a bit cold but I adjusted it. The breakfast was nice but was the same everyday but there was enough variety. The day staff was excellent but one night guy with beard never smiled or seemed happy to serve. There was another thin young guy who was very nice and willing to help and cheerful. Most staff were nice and friendly but that one guy with a beard. Sorry didn't get his name. The day Manager was excellent and bell hop alway snice and cheerful friendly.

No refills on water - they provide water only on the first night. Wi-Fi signal is very weak with constant connectivity issues in the room I was staying. House keeping could improve as they stopped making my bed after the second night for a stay of 5 nights. they just end up keeping the blankets separately on the chair, which personally I didn’t like but it’s not a deal breaker.

Excellent location in the old part of the city and good facilities. Breakfast not included but excellent for an extra 10 euros. Within walking distance to many locations and Hop On Hop Off bus. Very helpful staff who assisted with tickets and information.

The bathroom is not comfortable. There is no place to put creams, lotions, etc. At night there is noise from the street even with the closed window. It's been a long time since repairs, the wallpaper is peeling off the walls. All of these are unacceptable for a 4-stars hotel.

Perfect location, nice staff, good breakfast. I really suggest you to add breakfast when you make your booking online! We got it for €5 pp/day on booking app. It’s €10 pp when you buy it when you’re there. It’s really worth. The guy at the reception provided us a Kettle and Iron for free when we asked for it. The room we stayed was at the 5th floor and had a nice view terrace, chairs and tables. Even in December it was really enjoyable!

The location in the Gothic Quarter was excellent. Ivan at reception could not have been more welcoming and helpful and spoke English well.

Absolutely no frills eg no tea bags or coffee, empty bar fridge, no tissues etc. As expected it is a very old building with a slow lift.

Amazing experience! To start with the good English and highest form of hospitality from the staff to the clean and neat room. We have had breakfast included in the room and it was delicious with variety of choices. We have arrived 4hrs before check-in and the room was ready. There is also a place to store the luggage before check-in and after check-out! The location is perfect and everything is at walking distance! We highly recommend to book your stay ASAP!

The hairdryer is static at the bathroom and with all the humidity from the shower it was a slow blow dry.

The breakfast buffet was amazing and so reasonably priced for the great assortment. We would have reserved breakfast had we known it was so substantial, so we suggest posting some photos of the buffet. Regardless, everything was delicious, the staff was great, and we'll be sure to return. Location was perfect since we were able to enjoy some of the festivities of La Merce Festival. Lucky us!

That we only had one night to enjoy the hotel and Barcelona, but we'll be back, definitely.
