The location of the property is great, easy access into the town by walking or even metro. Facilities were always kept clean with frequent checks. Staff members were great providing help with any questions or inquiries. Overall enjoyed my 4 night stay with a guaranteed roof over my head and at the price I can’t really complain. Thank you for having me, will consider staying again next time I visit Barcelona!

Minor inconvenience with the property not having any padlocks to rent out so I had to go and buy one other than that had no issues at all.

The staffs were really nice, the room where I was staying initially was getting little uncomfortable and noisy due to the new set of guests who checked in but when i reported this to the staff, he immediately changed my room. Rooms were clean, washrooms were clean, location is excellent. Overall the stay felt safe and nice.

The light near my bed was not working. So everytime I had to turn on the torch of my phone to do something. But I didn't take the pain to report it to the staff as the entire day I use to be away exploring the city and just came back at night to sleep.

Im glad i didnt follow others reviews about how the mbeds were uncomfortable , no toilet paper… -Everything was good, the beds where confortable, the pillow too, a blanket too. -you need to bring a LOCK or you cab buy it from the reception to use it for the lockers. -Enough toilets for everyone, showers too (cold and hot water), mirrors with great lighting, enough toilet paper and clean facilities (each morning one of cleaning staff make rounds) -WIFI ✅ -A beautiful Terrace, well furnished and u can buy drinks (opens at 9h and closes at 22h) -Large living room with sofa and tables. -lockers are great for backpacks but not for suitcases. -Great Location (gothic quarter) -cheap -super staff I’ll defend book it again 👍

I think this is a really good hostel. I stayed here for my first solo trip. I met a few lovely people here too. There was lots of different age ranges here. My bed was comfy and plug sockets worked. The staff and cleaning ladies were really kind to me. I saw a lot of reviews about the rooms having too many beds and being loud but I’m not too sure what you’d expect from staying in a hostel with 12 beds. Yes it was loud and creeky at times but that’s what happens when you stay in a hostel! Plus they sell earplugs. They had a cheap coffee machine, fridge and microwave which was a plus. The curtains around the bed were a bonus and felt a lot more private. We had lockers and toilets in the room, although not all do so reccomend bringing your own lock. Great, safe location. Would stay again. You get your value for money!

Would be nice to have somewhere to put your stuff whilst in the shower and my light switch was faulty above my bed but didn’t ruin my experience !

Accomodation was as near to perfect as possible. Toilets in rooms, showers in hallway. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Coffee/ soft drinks available in lobby. Great friendly staff. Plenty of lounging space and tables and chairs in lobby. One of the best hostels I have stayed in!

I am visually impaired and because the hostal is in the Gothic area of Barcelona all the narrow roads look alike to me. I therefore managed to get lost four times before I got a system to reach the hostel. My fault not the hostels.

The location was exceptional, everything was in close proximity and the service was really good.

I didn’t know about the tax/ service fee you have to give that’s around 12-15€. Moreover, you have to buy toiletries, charger if you aint got one because the switches are different. Also, I had trouble charging my phone as the socket was way above my bed.

The check in process was relaxed and smooth; it’s always nice to have a lift in a hostel when you arrive with heavy bags. The sofas in the downstairs lounge were not only comfy - the material itself increased my relaxation… The beds had curtains to make micro rooms and the facilities were all good although admittedly I didn’t use the kitchen whilst I was there. Jaume I is the nearest Metro station located under Via Laietana and is almost opposite Timesburg (which is on the corner of C. dels Vigatans and serves fries that are sliced straight from the potatoes without peeling) - further down you find the hostel. The hostel is also few minutes’ walk from the Harbour where you can sit on the new wooden benches looking out or walk along on a Sunday to the small market near the Maritime Museum, statue of Christopher Columbus and the bridge to the Maremagnum shopping centre. L'Aquarium is nearby and it is only a short walk to the Parc de la Ciutadella which also has Barcelona Zoo as well as the lake and the fountain along with everything else.

The location was perfect. I was able to reach loads of places by walking. Bed was comfortable and overall the place was really cleaned and well kept.

The majority of the staff members were extremely friendly and kind. Unfortunately one member of staff at the reception was rude and wasn’t even listening to me when trying to explain what my issue was on the day of the checkout. It was unnecessary to be rude to me.

We booked for one night and everything was great 👌 Great stuff gave us good recommendations where to go, room was clean, comfortable and on perfect location. Extra blanket during the night would be perfect, because this May was a little bit colder than usual.

It was a litle bit cold during the night, but we didnt want to bother anyone - maybe guests can ask for extra blanket. That would be perfect. Everything else was really good. We would recommend this place to everyone for sure!

The rooms were great and curtains on the bed allowed complete privacy. Mattresses were a bit uncomfortable especially that we were out all day and really wanted to get back just to sleep. Otherwise the whole experience was amazing. There were some private bathrooms on the second floor that was very convenient. The staff was super friendly and very helpful. Opposite to the hostel entrance there is Laundry room and you could get detergent from the reception instead of having to buy a whole box.

2 things that could have been better: 1) The mattress 2) The shower head water was too strong and you can't control that because it was the type where you have to press to get water
