the location was the best! we walked everywhere and was able to pop back into the hotel randomly for a refresh. hotel staff very friendly, we asked for fresh towels and got them within minutes. would recommend and stay again!

my only criticism would be the comfort of the beds, they were pretty uncomfortable.

The hotel was in a perfect location for what Wanted being close to the Ramblas and in the Gothic part of the city. It is also a 5 minute walk past the yacht marina to the beaches. there are late shops, bars and restaurants in every direction so its super easy to find whatever you are looking for. The check in was totally seamless and the receptionist had my paperwork ready and it needed a signature and the room keys were handed over with a smile, 5 mins maximum and I was in my room (001). The room was spacious and well designed looking retro chic and amazingly clean. The air was on so it was already cooled down to a pleasant 24degC. The bathroom has a walk in shower and plenty of space ( room is fitted out as a disabled room). The lobby area is very stylish, quiet and a greta place to relax with a group. The reception staff were informative and helpful on every occasion. The breakfast at €12 is good value for money and there is everything you could possibly want on offer including "bubbles" so that alone equals the asking price, do not hesitate to take the hotel breakfast if that's your thing. Late check out at 12 noon was allowed which was hands for our travel arrangements.

I have no complaints at all, a really well run hotel offering great service and value for money.

The hotel was great, clean, friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast, comfortable beds and spacious bathroom. Was a little disappointed at first that I did not have a street view, but that turned out to be a blessing because the street is very busy and noisy 24 hours a day. The back of the hotel was very quite.

Closest Metro station was closed for construction, which I did not know when I booked. Next closest station was a good 15 minute walk, which made it a bit of a challenge to get around.

Location location location. 10-15 minutes walk to the shops/restaurants at Gothic Quarters, the market, Rasmus, the beach. Comfortable bed, nice fairly spacious room.

The half open entry to the shower means the bathroom floor can get really wet and you might have to deal with a couple of wet towels. Not a deal breaker, just something to call out. The tv can definitely use a couple more English channels but you don't go to the hotel for the TV. We have learnt to carry a HDMI cable wherever we go these days!

We stayed in a standard double room which was spacious and clean. I saw reviews saying the rooms were small but this was one of the biggest rooms I’ve stayed in compared to other hotels across other cities. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and let us check in early.

The windows let through a lot of sound from the streets below. Every night we could hear a lot of yelling and glass(?) being thrown into the big bins on the streets.

Location, breakfast, helpful staff.

Our first room was splendid, large, great view , lovely shower. However despite being four floors up we could hear talking and noise from the street, and bottles being deposited in and emptied from the bottle bank very loudly, which resulted in great difficulty in sleeping. We requested a quieter room, and were given one which was much smaller, with all the same facilities, no view, but VERY QUIET! So we were happy!

Very friendly and helpful staff at the front desk. No matter who was working they were always polite and helpful in booking taxis or general advice. Room was very clean, it was small-ish but ideal for exploring the city and had a sizeable wardrobe and a large bathroom. Very quiet too as we were at the rear of the property. Comfy bed and nice air con too!

Minor issue, the safe in the wardrobe didn't seem to work. And maybe better lighting in the main room

The hotel staff were extremely friendly andcthe hotel was dpotless. It is in a great location, a few minutes walk to the marina cafe and bars and situated in the gothic quarter which is full of small roads and squares packed with shops bars and restaurants. Las Ramblas in not far away either.

There were no tea or coffee making facilities in our room which we would prefer, but I believe this is standard in several European countries. But overall a great hotel.

Very central, clean and felt very safe for a single woman. The staff were exceptionally helpful, friendly and this made the stay (especially when on a work trip), very good. Some of the nicest and more helpful staff I’ve come across in a hotel - nothing was ever a problem.

No coffee making facilities in the bedroom; a bit noisy from the street outside over night (but it is on a main so to be expected somewhat).

Excellent location. Staff is super friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable and they made a really good work at making the rooms bright and with ventilation The hotel is located in a centric road so easy to get there and 2 blocks from subway. Close to restaurants and attractions

Due to the area (right in the heart of the gothic and born neighborhoods) there is party all night long so you can hear people passing by and laughing (or fighting) and then the traffic in the morning. Maybe and interior room (not facing the street) will help with this. But this is not the hotel’s fault. It’s just the area… but maybe an issue if you have babies or trouble sleeping .. this city never sleeps
