The beds were comfortable although mattress too soft for us, location is great for value, 5minutes walking from the tube station or bus stop in front of the hotel. Breakfast was good but not excellent. Plenty of choice. Staff were great with a few exceptions. We have checked out and still we could enjoy the pool and the hot tub on the roof too which was great. They provided me with an adapter for the charger and overall always there to help for every request.

The couple we traveled with has some issues with the bathroom door and receptionist was quite unhelpful. The gentleman that was serving breakfast during our stay was quite grumpy. We had some requests made the afternoon we checked in (extra towels and shower gel holder to be fixed) and our request was ignored.

Great location, near public transport (metro and bus) and plenty of cafés and restaurants within walking distance. Room was cleaned every day and towels changed every other day. Breakfast had plenty of variety of bread, pastries, fruit and veg options, cheeses and cured meats and even cooked eggs and bacon. It was my birthday and the staff left a card and a sweet treat, it was really lovely!

The window didn't shut completely so you could hear a bit of the outside noise, but we still managed to sleep ok.

The location is excellent, really close to restaurants, bars, supermercat, etc...Our room was large and spacious for 2, and the bathroom was excellent! Great shower facility and the aircon was toppp! Even during the national 12 hour long energy blackout on the 28th April, we had the staff at hand to help and make our stay as best as possible.

I wish we could have stayed longer :) Everything met and exceeded our expectations and I would encourage people to use the hotel and its facilities.

Stuff was very kind and cute, rooms are clean. On breakfast was quite big choose of different meals what I wasn’t expecting for a 3 star hotel, also I can mention a restaurant on the first floor, swimming pool and jacuzzi on the rooftop which you can also use without a charge. Location is also very good, 5 min walk from the metro station. We refused a cleaning in our room , and they left a letter with maids working hours under our door in case we’ll want fresh towels, what was really cute. I’m a hotel worker and I really recommend this hotel😁

The overall look of the hotel, the cleanliness and staff were excellent. Location was really accessible with lots of options for food and transport.

I would have liked to have an option for my guest as she's a smoker and there was no terrace in the morning where she could enjoy a coffee while having a cigarette. I noticed lots of guests sat on the floor in front of the hotel smoking in the morning. Also the breakfast room was not very welcoming, maybe lighting could be better and the temperature kept similar to the rest of the rooms in the hotel rather than blasting the AC. One more detail I noticed, on the rooftop around the pool there are ugly parts which can easily be improved by just using some decoration.

Nice breakfast, friendly female receptionist, soft bed, clean quilt, great pool, great spa; The location is good and easy to find, but it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the subway station and bus station

The facilities are a bit old and the room is small; There is a little sound insulation, and you can hear the door opening and closing in the next room; but it's not loud and you definitely could fall asleep very well.

The location is good. Close to the Diagonal, subway, busses. There are stores, bakeries and restaurants nearby. The lobby and the receptionists are very nice We got a room upgrade with a street view. The bed and pillows were very comfy! We got our room cleaned daily. Made up beds and towels changed daily. The hot tub was also very nice and it has a cute view - you can see the planes landing over Montjuic

The rooms facing the street are a little bit noisy but it didn't bother us. The bathroom had a wierd smell The tub was a bit clogged

Booked economy double room was small as booked decor very dated. The rooms very well maintained and very clean. Lobby of hotel welcoming but not comfortable to lounge in. Both of these totally put weigh the location and cost for value in this hotel in barcelona city as we did not spend time relaxing in hotel rather used it as a base to visit city and attractions.

The hotel location is very suitable to every tourist attraction. Easy to go with bus,metro or even walk. Many types of restaurants are near the hotel. The most important thing is that every single employee here knows what the meaning of service is. From receptionists, staff, housekeeping staff, and morning breakfast staff, they're all will make your day warm. Good job, guys ! RECOMMENDED !!!

Choosing Sunotel Aston for my first visit to Barcelona was definitely a good decision. While the rooms were simple and clean, the highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the friendly and helpful staff. Their warm hospitality made me feel welcome throughout my stay, and their assistance added to the overall positive experience. The location was close to a metro-station and you have many bars, restaurants, breakfast joints and supermarkets to choose from in the area.

Despite the cleanliness of the rooms, it's evident that they could benefit from a renovation. During my stay, I encountered issues such as broken closet doors that initially appeared inoperable. Fortunately, I was able to address this myself by adjusting the wheels of the sliding doors, but it was a bit disappointing to encounter such maintenance issues.
