We booked this hotel because we wanted to travel budget friendly, but with a pool. So we choose this. To be honest we were a little scared because of the bad reviews. But we didn’t experience anything bad at all. Yes they moved the check in to the other hotel, and you have to walk a little to get to to your room. But I don’t see that as a big issue. Our check in went smoothly and the person who helped us was extremely nice and helpful. The room was perfect for what we needed, yes a little outdated, but we are only there to sleep and freshen up. The airco was working as promised. Most important, it was clean. The pool is a big +++. After our check out we could leave out bags because our flight wasn’t until late in the evening, which is a nice gesture. Overal, we really fell in love with Barcelona and we will definitely come back.

We arrived very late at night and the staff were very friendly and swift to direct us to our much needed bed. They were also very friendly when we checked out and we have no complaints regarding the service. The bed was comfy and the sheets were clean. The shower worked perfectly well and the bathroom was clean. This was all we needed.

The room was a tiny bit dusty in corners, but I am a bit fussy as I work as a cleaner part time! The lift was a little noisy in the middle of the night, as our room (13) was quite close to it, but I went straight back to sleep after each waking!

A perfect stay, The hotel staff surprised us with two small champagne bottles and two bags of grapes, as we celebrated New Year while staying there. The location was excellent, close to the metro station, and the room, as well as the entire property, was clean. We especially enjoyed the rooftop jacuzzi, where the water was warm enough even for the January weather. The breakfast was delicious, with high-quality and diverse food options. A big thank you to all the hotel staff from us!

The hotel was easy to reach from the airport by metro. The station was about 150 m away. I traveled alone so was not looking for anything fancy. The place is a bit outdated but the staff were all helpful and friendly. The breakfast a good mix of international and local. In general I was happy with the choice.

Stayed as a solo female traveller and felt safe. Hotel staff were very welcoming and happy to help with and questions I had. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. The hotel is also really close to the station and felt safe walking from the station even at night time. Very good value for money and would for sure recommend especially if on a budget

Would have been nice to maybe have a little kettle but other than that it was amazing

Staff was very nice and helpful. The room was clean and cosy. The bed was great, there were lots of pillows available :) The breakfast buffet had good variety. There were lots of great restaurants around.

The shower curtain made it hard not to spill water and there was no ventilation so the humidity stuck around for a couple of hours after showering with hot water.

Lovely hotel in a great location. Nice bar / restaurant & food.

Was not aware had to use sister hotel reception, not a problem as just round the corner but when you arrive to a locked reception was not a great start without being pre-warned.

The room was a bit older but still good enough to crash there after long days of wandering and exploring around. Great, budget option for a shorter stay - the staff was super friendly too!

The entrance was actually on the other side of the block - not too far away (3 min walk) - but it caught me by surprise when taxi dropped me off.

The staff were so helpful and welcoming. The room was spacious, and clean. Super comfortable bed. The pool and jacuzzi were an absolute bonus. A lovely roof top area.

Shower leaked - and the fridge kept re- frosting itself.

I asked reception to call me a taxi on the morning I was leaving. Not sure if he called but 2 minutes later the receptionist said there were no taxis and I had to hail one in the street. I understand you can hail taxis in the street but I had lots of luggage and the reason I asked was it would be a lot easier for me to get one directly at the hotel.
