The hotel is a very comfortable and well run, with very helpful and professional staff. The room was warm and a good size, cleaning excellent, good sized bathroom and a very comfy bed, as in photos. Breakfast available although I did not try this. RICE Reyes is located not quite in the town centre, but an easy walk of about 10 to 15 minutes. The hotel is on the bus route from Burgos station (located in outer Burgos) and so easy to get from the train. It is possible to securely leave luggage after checking out. There various options for meals nearby and Burgos is a lovely smaller city to visit. Unintended, but my visit coincided with the El Cid Festival so many people in medieval dress (including hotel guests) and the town was full of medieval activities and all really enjoyable.

We had stayed at the hotel a couple of years ago and it seemed to have improved in that time. We were given an upgrade to a better standard room, which was a bonus. It is very easy to find, especially from the north and is located fairly close to the city centre in a pleasant location on the river. It has an excellent bar/restaurant attached which has great food/drink which is reasonably priced. Very popular with locals which is always a good sign. Now our 'go to' place when visiting Burgos.

Location, a short walk to the town centre. Helpful staff - especially Rosa, who was on duty when we checked in. Availability of secure parking nearby. Well-appointed room.

A new firmer mattress would improve comfort and help sleep. Car park is a bit tight if you have a long, wide car.

We loved the position of the hotel and as it was a weekend there was plenty of free street parking. We liked the place so much we stayed another night. The staff were all great and made you feel at home. Spotless rooms and good air conditioning as the temperature was in excess of 40 degrees. The tapas in the adjoining bar was excellent

We stayed an extra night but the room was not as good as the first room and you could here the kitchens below even though the room was very modern. If you opened the window the noise was worse and you could then smell the hot food

the marble floors in the corridors, hardwood in the bedroom and tiled bathroom floors were lovely. the furniture and decor are classy, the breakfast was very nice and the ladies on reception were super friendly and genuinely helpful. the parking is across the street in an underground ’bunker’, but very secure.

the view to the rear is best avoided, but that’s not why we stayed there; still a great choice of hotel.

The hotel staff were excellent and very helpful. We received an upgrade which we really appreciated.

2 of the restaurant staff were rude and unprofessional. We felt very unwelcome. However the bar staff were very good and the food was very good.

It was a very pleasant stay. We came back to the same hotel as last year as a one-nigth stopover on our way south. For a small price we could use the parking garage.

Breakfast was a bit simple. My children liked it because of the abundant cakes and crossaints but I would have liked some whole grain bread.

We managed to find parking right outside. The hotel reception, Daniel was very efficient and polite, even spoke some English. Very good experience after traveling for 10hrs.

Nothingness

The staff were very friendly/helpful and the hotel was easy to find when arriving from the North. The room was spacious and the decor was modern/simple. The location was ideal on a wide street which ran either side of the river. There is an excellent bar/restaurant attached to the hotel which seemed popular with locals as well. Underground parking was available nearby and reasonably priced (6 Euros/night for a motorbike.) Enjoyable stroll into the old part of town, 15 mins appx.

Couldn't find anything to fault apart from lack of other facilities. Although it wasn't a problem for us the old part of the city is about 6/700 mtrs away and the Cathedral a further 300 which may be an issue for some.

The Room and Restaurant have been extensively re-furbished to a high standard. More rooms are scheduled over the next few months. We always look forward to visiting Burgos and driving through this area on our way between Santander and Murcia Region.
