I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The location couldn't have been more perfect, with the cathedral right across the street, offering a breathtaking view from my room. The room itself was comfortable and spacious, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly, always ready to assist with any request or question I had. Additionally, being just a block away from the bus station made getting around incredibly convenient. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Burgos

The only minor limitation was that I couldn't customize the room temperature, as they use a central heating system.

Well-located hotel in front of Arco Santa Maria with stunning views of the cathedral. The hotel is right in the center of Burgos, only a few steps away from the Cathedral and the old quarter. The rooms are not huge but are extremely clean and nicely decorated. Many have views over the Cathedral and Arco Santa Maria, which is a bonus. The staff is friendly. Although breakfast is not included, there is a cafe on the premises that you can access from both inside the property and the outside. Ideal for having a pincho de tortilla and coffee in the morning. This hotel offers excellent value for money. I would definitely stay at the Via Gotica hotel again.

Location outstanding. View of the cathedral world class Reception staff welcoming and very helpful Loved the convenience of the on-site cafe Room was as expected. I was kindly put on the 4 th floor to mitigate the irritating noise from the pedestrian crossing which reviews had warned about. Despite my older years and poor hearing. Could still hear it through closed window. Not the hotels fault. Just be aware Clean room aside from package of meat on floor which I gave to hotel staff Bed and pillows not comfortable for me Wifi fine

Bathroom light and fan on automatic timer. In the night this is particularly intrusive and not good for darkness required for good sleep. Walls paper thin but excellent neighbours. Could still hear quiet conversations so might be a problem with noisier guests

A great location in terms of how central it is. My room had a fantastic view. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel is being renovated, so at the moment, parts are a bit shabby, but I think that will improve. It doesn't serve breakfast, but there is a cafe on the ground floor that does, which is open much earlier than most cafes in Burgos and is better value than the usual hotel breakfast.

There was a little bit of street noise. My room overlooked a pedestrian crossing, and the green light makes a noise each time which could get annoying. The room was clean, but housekeeping felt a bit basic: I had to ask for more toilet paper. There was no fridge in the room: not a huge problem, but in the summer, it would be nice to be able to chill water and maybe keep some fruit. The bathroom light is on a sensor, and the bathroom walls are glass, so if you're sharing a room with someone, it would be hard to go to the loo in the night without waking them up.

Great location clean and comfortable, nearby underground parking, great for a stopover with a bit of sight seeing thrown in after ferry to Santander on way South. Staff very friendly and helpful could get a cafe breakfast on premises. Great view from room of the Cathedral and riverbank shown below.

there was a very annoying beep on the pedestrian crossing below the window which went on all night- I was able to zone this out but my husband found it irritating

Great greeting at reception, first floor room directly opposite the main entrance to the Old Town. Best view possible of this and the Cathedral directly behind - See Photos attached. Really inexpensive Parking within about 50 metres. I love visiting Burgos and Hotel Gotica was only abut 5 minutes ot my favourite Tapas Bar!

A disappointingly small selection of choices to go with my Breakfast Coffee in the adjacent cafeteria. But theCoffee was great.

Very well located because it's only 5mn on foot from the bus station and the hotel is just in front of the main entrance to Burgos. My room window had an amazing view on the river and the Burgos City entrance. If you stay on the street side view, it's loud because of the traffic when you have the windows open but the windows are very thick and when they are closed, it's totally quiet, so it's really not a problem. The air-conditionning worked perfectly. The breakfast was not included but it's not a problem because downstairs, there is a cafetaria where you can have breakfast for a very good price. It's very convenient. The room and the bathroom were clean.

The hotel was very well located, just a couple of minutes walk from the cathedral and all the shops and cafes you could want. The hotel was clean and modern, very good shower and comfy bed. the room was on the small side but as a solo traveler had all I needed, even a lift. Bonus was the attached cafe for breakfast, English spoken at the hotel and staff helpful and friendly. Can recommend the Via Gotica.

Fabulously locacsted with a spectacular view of the cathedral. Also minutes from the bus station!

The hours are a little funky. For example, I had an early morning train to Madrid and there was no one to order me a taxi. But I anticipated the and walked. No problem for a Camino hiker.
