We know the Dénia area very well and have walked admiringly past this hotel on many occasions. After a villa Christmas break with family we wanted to relax for a few days. Our initial booking was for 3 nights and we were delighted with the entrance lobby and the warm check-in by Sylvia. The boutique hotel is a sensitively refurbished old building with many historic features. The reception area has an old stone arch and lots of museum pieces. The bespoke aroma of a large candle was very relaxing. We went up to our Junior Suite Deluxe and loved the room. It was large and bright with two full-length windows opening on to a long think balcony with chairs overlooking the marina. The room had a large four-poster bed with high quality linens and lots of pillows all with the same bespoke aroma we enjoyed in reception. The floor was traditionally tiled and a large sofa-bed with a fridge and good lighting added a lot. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower, double sinks, toilet and bidet with great towels and toiletries. We extended our stay to seven nights as we enjoyed everything so much. The large marina is just across the road with bars and restaurants. The historic old town is only a few minutes walk away. Calle Loreto has lots of tapas bars and restaurants. I would highly recommend this lovely hotel and we will certainly return.

Great location and room, reception staff were super helpful

For the price maybe more facilities. The night we checked in our WC wasn’t working when we got back for dinner, took 12 hours to be fixed, one of those things but again for the price not the best experience, spoiled our first night to be honest. Twice when we came back to our room the housekeeper had removed the spare key from our room, another occasion we came back and the room door was wide open and unlocked, luckily nobody had accessed our belongings.

Wow. This place is amazing. Just amazing. We nearly didn't stay here because we had found an apartment which I booked directly with the owner, through their website. But, the directions they sent to reach the apartment, were crazy and we just could not find it, so we gave up and cancelled. This hotel definitely wasn't the cheapest option on Booking.com, but we had been driving for a long time, and decided to treat ourselves to a little bit of luxury. It was amazing. From check-in through to check-out, they stay was perfect. Parking is available about 50metres away (at a fee) in a secure garage, and instructions to access are easy. The hotel is on the sea front, and so it is busy outside, but once you step into reception, it is just magical. The building has been restored sympathetically and super tastefully, with lots of historical artefacts. Special mention must be made of the aromas which drift through reception and the communal areas - beautiful scents from candles and incenses which can be bought in the hotel. We booked a suite and it was huge, with a small balcony with a sea view. Decor is wonderful - linens and creams and natural tones and textures. Soothing and relaxing. As expected, the bed was super comfy. Breakfast the next morning was a delight - high quality food, eggs done however you wanted them, hams, cheeses, pastries, fruits, yoghurt, breads, cereals. All delicious and served in a beautiful room, with exceptionally lovely staff. All in all, a fabulous find in Denia.

Hotel was excellent

The restaurant was closed and reception did not know whether it was open or not. One day we were told that it opened at 20.00 but when we went down it was shut. My wife booked an appointment to have her nails done. The price shown on the document in the room was 40€ but we were charged 60€. The price list ay recepton had been changed to 60€ Frankly the manicure was not very good and the price exorbitant - 15€ in Torrevija for a much better manicure.

The hotel is interesting with character. Awaiting us in our room was a bottle of Cava and rose petals strewn on the bed! Very romantic! The bed itself and the pillows were very comfortable and the bedding was of high-quality. It was nice to have a terrace and view from the room. There was a good choice for breakfast and the staff were very helpful. Karina on reception was particularly friendly and helpful, as was Yolanda in her email prior to our arrival.

Nothing to dislike!

The location and views over the sea are amazing. The building is a historical building and it is decorated tastefully taking into account the history and the background of it. The breakfast is organised by booking slots, I think by doing so they avoided guests waiting in queues for tables. The food was very good, in fact they catered for all needs. One important point for people driving there, they have safe parking spaces in a garage a few minutes from the hotel.

I did not stay long enough to find anything that I did not like. I only stayed for two nights though.

Nice hotel in a wonderful location. We had a room on the fourth floor with a terrace overlooking the marina. It was great. The hotel does have car park a short walk away which once you have got the hang of the access it's very convenient. Access may involve driving the wrong way down a one way street but this has been agreed by the authorities and they even have a sign saying you can!!! Now that is an experience you don't get every day! Absolutely would recommend this hotel.

Amazing location, attentive staff. Although the hotel is in the very city center, windows are properly sealed and isolated so you do not hear any street noise. The hotel itself is picturesque, worth exploring lobby as it looks as a museum room. Big kudos to the ladies at the reception for their attitude and help 24h

Everything was great, probably i would wish a bit more varied breakfast, but it is a common problem for spain hotels, not only this one

Excellent room on with balcony with a direct sea view. Spotlessly clean hotel and with excellent service. Also has its own parking which is difficult to find in Spain :).. Also my son's bed was made with a proper mattress. What made it super special was the cava and 2 glasses to welcome us in the room! I would definitely return

The location of the hotel was very good and to include free parking was a great bonus. The decor of the hotel and our room was of a high standard

On arrival we were informed at the time of booking my husband's credit it card had been declined although we had no knowledge of this. We understood that payment would be made at the hotel This was not the issue but it was said Infront of another guest and it could have been dealt with more discreetly .
