Clean and comfortable and as everyone says, the coffee machine in reception (with creamer/milk provided) is a nice touch. Communications were very prompt and good. The young woman manning the hotel was exceptionally nice and helpful. The quickest walking route between the town centre and the hotel is via the town 'lift' which is close to the small roundabout you reach just below a petrol station if following the Google walking route in from the Camino. Suss this out in advance (if you can) and arrive more painlessly at the hotel on foot. Failing that, be sure to ask at reception to be shown the footpath/lift route to town before you go out for dinner, because this really renders the trip down into the centre where all the restaurants are quite painless! We enjoyed the contrast of an evening in a lively, non-touristy Basque city.

The reception isn't always reliably manned at the stated hours (but the WhatsApp number is always available if you have a query/need someone - and the staff was very kind and helpful with everything we needed.)

The hotel is conveniently located to reach the city center of Donostia San Sebastián by bus (a bus stop is located nearby) and by car (there is a decent parking in the hotel). Besides, it is pretty okay for the price, being less expensive than other similar places

Something was missing in the room (a toilet paper) when we got there in the evening and it was a time when there was no reception any more. But we were able to contact them by WhatsApp and they solved very fast the situation. It was really okay after all!

This was a great find. Good value for money, a clean, comfortable room, and a nice hotel. It's quite a trek down a very steep hill to the streets below where there are restaurants and shops, but the receptionist told us about an outside lift which takes residents up and down without any hassle. We needed assistance with printing up tickets and the receptionist was such a great help, we can't thank her enough.

The staff had a break from 1pm to 5:30pm. Ahead of my arrival at 3pm, they sent the door code so that I could enter the hotel and get to my room. For communication they used Whatsup and English. The room was spacious & very clean. Same with the bathroom. Internet & AC worked as expected. The host was friendly and helpful. The hotel offers nice breakfast for €7.50/person.

The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was parking at the hotel, which felt secure. It is cheaper than staying in San Sebastian and there is an easy 20 minute train ride to get there. There is a nice coffee machine in the foyer for general use.

Excellent value for money, spotless although basic. Good coffee available in reception area, breakfast included hot food and fresh orange. The receptionist promptly dealt with an issue when notified. There is an elevator close by for access to the town.

TV system not working

I liked the hotel, it's warm, cozy, shower is great and bed is really comfortable. Also there is a possibility to check in at anytime, we needed it.

You can hear what happens behind the door, in the corridor or even in the next rooms. Just need to mention, that Google doesn't show the proper way to the hotel, so I was needed to open the Booking photos of the hotel to find it)

Friendly and helpful staff. Calm area. Direct bus which gets you to San Sebastián in 20 mins. There is a lift in the park behind the hotel that gets you to the town centre with amenities. There is a cafe just opposite where you can have breakfast and snacks. Very friendly staff there too.

Noise insulation is not ideal.

missing curtain in the bathroom (directly under shower!), leaking water from ventilation in bathroom (from the ceiling, next to electricity), one of the windows was broken (we could close it but not lock)

All of the staff that we met were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was a croissant and slice of toast, with butter and jams with a coffee and fresh orange juice. It was more than enough and all tasted great You are 10 mins drive from San Sebastian, but our top tip is go to Hondarribia - it's beautiful. The small village Pasai donibane is gorgeous so quaint.

The bathroom could do with an update although it was perfectly clean - I prefer a shower door to a curtain. The air conditioning didn't function very well. Minor things for the price we paid for the room.
