Hostel is at the good location but yeah its little bit far from bus and train station. , well the whole city is beautiful. Check in was simple and staff is helpful. They have a small lounge with small kitchen. Beds were comfy. There was locker down the bed to store your stuff. Check-out procedure is simple to ,you just need to put your card in a box that's it. No curtains around the bed for privacy. The shampoo/body wash was not filled even though cleaning person came and cleaned the room. So both days I stayed no bodywash nor even handwash was filled they both were empty.

Location was great, The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and warm, the bedding was clean, that's always the most important thing to me. I was in a mixed 4 dormitory bad, and the bathroom door did not lock, didn't work, however, as a woman, I could not even go to the toilet. I reported the problem and was immediately transferred to the women's room. I am grateful and appreciate it very much. Great respect. There was no shouting, the guests respected the rules of the hostel.

In the bathroom the shower you have to press the button to get water and it takes a few seconds so you have to press it over and over during the shower to get water all the time. Great thing is that there is a hot water. There are no lockers, you can leave your luggage only in the open area.

The hostel is very comfortable and very well located. Beds are comfortable and bathrooms clean. I had an issue with the bed I was assigned, but the person in charge was very proactive to solve it. Value for money it is a pretty good deal, I would recommend this place.

The kitchen is bit too tiny and could be better equiped. The cleaning staff was quite an experience, she would come into the rooms, open doors and windows and make all possible noise (singing included) even if outside was chilly and people were still sleeping, I found it kind of rude and never before have I seen that in a hostel, this is my only reason not to give such a great hostel a 10.

The location is quite good. The room is quite big and has a big window. Even with 10 people inside you didn't feel cramped at all. The bed was comfortable and you have plenty of storage space. In this hostel you have a lot of "independence" and besides the check in you never see the staff and you are free to go as you like thanks to the card.

The noise at night is a nightmare, and kept me awake for hours. The hostel is located on top of a bar/restaurant that is quite nice and busy. But this means that there is music and people talking loudly until the early hours...even my earplugs didn't help. You need your own padlock for the storage so this is something to keep in mind. The bathroom and the end of the room close to the bathroom had mold on the ceiling. The kitchen was not cleaned and guests left all the tables messed up so would be good to enforce some order..

Lovely location, in the relatively old neighborhood of the city. The room is overall comfortable and the receptions was a very amicable and friendly guy. We’re a family and had an enjoyable stay!

The kitchen is often piled with dishes (not the hostel’s fault though), and the bathroom wasn’t cleaned well when we arrived. The hostel is a bit of a self-check in style, so expect some waiting time for requests.

I liked that the hostel was well equipped like a prestigious hotel ,"I mean beds, light system ,etc" they were really excellent for the value, also it was near to Alhambra and AlBayazin you could just once you get out of the hotel find the transportation to these touristic places ,and there is also a great thing that they have a restaurant and bar with the hostel so you could make late check in because you will find staff in the hosel will help you and they were really nice and kind

That they don't have a female dorm ,and you have to know that the prices of nights in the same room are different and higher in case you are in a friday or Saturday and Sunday

I've had the most amazing experience at this hostel. The staff was really kind and gave a lot of tips for places to go see and eat at. There is a restaurant and bar in the Hostel, where you get a 10% discount aswell. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hostel is located perfectly. There are a lot of nice places around and you are only a small walk away from Alhambra. If you stay in Granada, do stay at this amazing hostel.

The kitchen has no structure and items to cook or even do a coffee. I suggest to improve kitchen because as lot of travelers stay there they could have a better kitchen, all hostels I have been has a cooking space with items, is not a excuse to say people still that is why you don’t have a decent kitchen. And was not clean too.

Carlota Braun is a pretty hostel in the centre of Granada, combining a restaurant with some private and shared accommodations. In many of the hostels with these features, I found limitations in terms of space and facilities, because what was provided in the restaurant, pizzeria, or pub, was missing in the lodging part, such as the kitchen or common areas. It seemed that in some establishments they wanted to push guests to make use of the catering area. At Carlota Braun, on the other hand, I found a cosy kitchen that served as a common room, where guests could prepare a personalised lunch without having to choose from the menu of a restaurant or pizzeria. For people who are careful about what they eat it is important, there are some who eat one or two kilos of fruit and vegetables every day and cannot do it in a restaurant. Everything at Carlotta Braun was finished, I noticed great love and attention to detail, the bedrooms were clean, and climate controlled in the right proportion with a central air conditioning system. The prices are very good, just make the comparison with other cities that are more popular with tourists, and you can see a big difference in terms of value for money. It's not easy to put your best foot forward and do everything with precision when many customers only return a fraction of the attention and respect you show them. I believe that the staff here at the Carlotta Braun are competent people who do an important job bringing tourists where they are needed and promoting Andalusia, which is a beautiful region of Spain. I recommend everyone to visit Granada and this hostel, in summer it is so hot in many places that staying at an altitude of 700 metres for a while makes you feel more alive.

The staff were amazing. Room1 (6 beds) was spacious enough that it felt comfortable, not cramped like room 4 (half the size, but still 6 beds. should be a 4 bed only.) The location is great, many things close by. The restaurant attached has quite good live music, however I didn't eat there because it was too expensive despite the hostel discount of 10% In general the place was great, which is why I extended my stay.

The kitchen needs some attention. It is basic, but needs some more glasses, at least one sharp knife for preparation, and other bits and pieces to make cooking more available. The push button showers are infuriating. Dorm 1 shower had 20 seconds of water per push, which is frustrating enough, but dorm 4 had less than 5 seconds water flow....making showering a real hassle.
