One of the best locations in the village. Staff very helpful and friendly. The level is fantastic gives the extra value you want. Lots of families with kids and the facilities were great for families. Probably not a couples hotel but great for families.

The SPA is a huge disappointment- firstly all visitors should be aware everyone including Men have to wear a swimming hat to enter. This is very very strange. Secondly the temperature of the spa facilities were just warm - hot tub was a warm tub at best the hydro pool area Luke warm. So overall just disappointing if you want a spa hotel this is not the one.

Wonderful hydro massage spa with steam room and sauna. Breakfast Buffett is varied and of excellent quality. The fresh fruit was particularly good. No wonder with the Axarquia and Costa tropical so close by. Location is just a stone throw away from local amenities, ski shops and crucially the telecabin. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Bathrooms very modern. No issues at all with water pressure or temperature as other reviewers have posted. The best part is the staff: everyone is attentive, polite and welcoming.

I think your the spa area has been advertised as a swimming pool and if so, this is misleading. From your online pictures it is clear that is not a swimming pool and personally I am quite happy that it isn’t as I prefer to relax in a spa after a day on the slopes than be surrounded by unruly kids mucking about. But I can understand the criticism of some other clients who were expecting a pool in which to keep their children entertained. You need to change this advert if not done so already.

Breakfast with a great selection of food including fresh fruits. Spa with mountain view. We also appreciated the animation programs for kids, sports activities in the spa and gym and the live music in the evenings. Perfect location in the centre close to the bars and restaurants and in the walking distance to the skilifts. As experienced skiers we liked to ski mainly in the Laguna area (using Laguna lift). We were nicely surprised with the great organisation at the ski lifts that minimizes the potential lines and shortens waiting time during peak hours - skiers get into the lift more smoothly and faster than in Alpine skiresorts.

The hotel has a very good location, great service, excellent breakfast and other food options. We have been here for the second time and we will be happy to come back again.

This time there were a lot of families with children, whose parents let them play various games in the hotel corridor, run and shout without regard for other guests....that's a shame, but it was probably due to the timing (Christmas holidays). But I would still recommend the staff to create some kind of notice that the common hotel areas are not playgrounds for children.

Absolutely lovely traditional hotel with the friendliest/helpful staff. Bedroom and bathroom were very roomy with a comfortable bed and a selection of pillows. Everything was very clean. We stayed half board. There was a lot of choice; the food was freshly prepared and of a very high quality. Very central location with a locker room, perfect for skiing. The spa was easy to book into and had a variety of areas. It was free too for our stay, which was a lovely addition. Overall we had the most relaxing, loveliest time. Highly recommend.

Overall our stay was totally amazing, so I don’t like to criticise. But it would have been nice if there were a few more ‘hot’ vegetarian choices in the evening buffet with some vegetarian protein choices too (tofu curry, vegan burger, vege mince lasagna etc). The hotel staff were so helpful, that, had I have pointed this out, I know they would have sorted it out for me. But I was more than happy with the colder selection provided. If you ate meat of fish (and cheese), the selection was top quality. The desserts were incredible too. Definitely went away not being able to eat another thing.

The hotel was excellent but overpriced

The Resort is a disgrace - run down - broken steps - paths with holes. Shabby in desperate need of a complete makeover. Everywhere around the failure to maintain was so obvious it was depressing. We won’t be going back to the Sierra Nevada and suspect thousands of others won’t. Booking.Com should personally inspect and encourage whoever is ultimately responsible to do something as the resort is going down hill fast.

This hotel was beautiful from the moment you stepped in. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Clean throughout. The bed was massive and very comfy. The shower was powerful. The bath was deep. Complimentary drinks and snacks on arrival. Room cleaned daily. The food was exceptional. The spa was so relaxing, massage jets, sauna and steam room. The view from the pool loungers was beautiful. Perfect location. Plenty of bars and restaurants. Places to sit and have a drink while watching the skiing and snowboarding or to sit and watch the sunset. Was very lively on Friday and Saturday nights.

The corridors were noisy from people returning from the night life. Would have liked an iron in the room.

Hotel was fantastic, very comfortable and clean rooms, great bathrooms and staff at reception were very helpful. The breakfast buffet was very good and the bar and entertainment area in the evening was very pleasant. Pool table and arcade for the teenagers and kids clubs for little ones great too. The spa, gym and swimming area were fantastic. Very central location, close to all the bars and restaurants and very short walk to bubble lifts.

Very hot at night. Had to open the windows. Service at the bar was terribly slow. Restaurant wasn’t up to much. Don’t order burgers - we had to send ours back!

the breakfast was top! anything one can imagine. bread could have been better. With Level status, there was a quiet breakfast place offered too. Also with Level, there was a great exclusive lounge at the lobby for snacks and drinks but mostly to chill comfortably on couches. The kids loved the pool after the skiing every day. The location was perfect next to the lifts Borreguiles, Al Andalus and Jara, ski rentals and restaurants. Ski lockers and parking very convenient at hotel.

The spa and pool facilities could be better managed. Was too crowded and noisy. Think since kids restricted till 19h, only adults should be also restricted to from 19h. This was very expensive. We usually go to the Alps, and this was more costly, but less value even as a venue. I think it was the school holiday week (though that is the same for the Alps) and somehow us inadvertently getting a room with the Level status privileges, which we did enjoy.
