Great location right on the beach front with sea view. Since my last visit the reception area has been moved to overlook the beach with the breakfast room also on the first floor over looking Las Canteras beach. A much better view for hotel guests and good view from the bar and lounger area. Lovely rooms with balcony overlooking the beach which never disappoints. Airy feel and much improved surroundings having been taken over by Tigotan hotels and refurbished. Breakfast is a delight.

Lovely pool and comfortable seating with helpful staff. The pool bar food was expensive and disappointing. Had to access an app on smartphone just to look at the menu. The selection was slim and my choice wasn't available. Pizzas were underwhelming. Marghareta was a soft bit of plasticine with no topping to speak of. Don't bother. Buy a sandwich and pastry from a local beach shop and bring it back. It was the only negative area of the hotel. The staff and surroundings were very good otherwise.

This is a nice hotel on the beach, rather old and worn out, optimistically rated as 5*. Staff is wonderful, beyond any complaints. Parking in the basement is a good feature. Free towel service is nice also. The bar in the lobby is a good place to chill out ... and Andrea is good at making cocktails. Breakfast is amazing compared to most hotels - always something new is offered and the variety is quite large.

Noise. Street noise from cars and buses can be heard loudly in the rooms with windows opposed to the sea. Closing the window helps, but the noise is still there. Construction work in the hotel - very bad idea. Very few channels on TV that are not in Spanish. I found a long blond hair on the bed when I checked in :-(

Hotel location is excellent regarding beach as it is next to Las Canteras beach. It is also excellent for walking as there is long and wide promenade next to hotel. Breakfast was very good, however dinner was excellent especially local fishes and meat prepared on the spot (from which I would point out the white fish as the best).

Regarding hotel parking there could be better markings regarding card readers on entereing and exiting the parking, as one is for the car doors and other is for employees which doesn't open car dors (or they could link both card readers for opening both doors).

The hotel location is excellent right on Las Canteras beach. We had a balcony room with a lovely view. Breakfast was very good with a wide variety of foods to suit all tastes. The porter who was on duty on our arrival (unfortunately his name eludes me) was friendly and helpful and really was the standout employee of everyone one we encountered during our stay.

Not enough elevators and one of the three was out of service during our stay even though I reported it in the morning on the way to breakfast.

Sea view balcony is definitely worth it. Great value hotel. Breakfast was lovely. Staff friendly.

There was construction happening in the hotel that we weren't made aware of beforehand and I didn't appreciate that. Ruined one or two days at the pool. "City view" balcony is a very generous description. You're looking at another building and nothing else. These rooms are newly refurbished but incredibly loud so definitely recommend the sea view rooms instead.

We stayed for 5 nites the sheets were never changed at least once for a 5 star hotel.lt looks like the hotel only offers twin beds than a double for couple The fridge does not work we called maitainance still it does not chill the water Gran canaria is very hot place need functional fridges in the rooms.

Great breakfast. Lovely reception area and bar. Great location on the beach. Vibrant bustling surrounding areas with great little cafes and bars. Pool beds and pool Great. Adult only so nice atmosphere. Hotel bar prices were great value which makes a pleasant change.

Our room view. We were at the rear of the hotel looking onto a scabby building roof. So be aware not all rooms have pleasant views.

Location, location, location. Modern and right on the beach and the boardwalk full of restaurants and a few shops. Also had its own sunbathing deck and pool area.

The only thing I did not like was the steps into the pool. I am a senior with arthritis and was really desparate to enjoy the pool but really felt the stairs were a bit wobbly and had trouble with the step up. Most people would not notice this so this is just a small personal peeve!

Room with sea view is a must as the beach view was beautiful. The room and the whole hotel were impecably clean. The hotel was spacious, no rushing for sun beds (May/June). Staff were helpful and polite, special thanks to Julian the porter who arranged snorkelling for us and advised on surfing places. Breakfast was excellent and we had dinner a couple of times which was also good. We had a great holiday with our teenage daughter and would recommend this hotel and its location.

Rooms without a sea view look onto a busy street. Ask for a kettle if you want one as none are provided nor is tea or coffee or cups in the room but there was a fridge.

It's a really nice hotel, we had a city view on the 5th floor and it was fine - I didn't intend to spend a ton of time in the room anyway. The room - decor felt very on trend (think Motel Makeover on Netflix style), nice lighting and big mirrors. The twin beds were comfy. Big TV (I didn't watch but my partner did, I don't think there were any English channels, again not a bother to me as Im not going on holiday to watch tv). Bathroom was good - I love a bath and the water temperature was hot and filled quickly, the shower also was good pressure and temperature. Lobby/restaurant/bar areas - decor follows the style and looks nice (maybe a bit too new at the moment, which of course improves in time). Nice big open space, the receptionists were always friendly, and the restaurant staff too. Breakfast - really great breakfast, a huge spread and all that I tried tasted good and was fresh. Selections of fruits, juices, cheeses, coffee machines, breads, freshly-cooked eggs, also boiled or scrambled, classic 'English breakfast' foods, and even Cava, unlimited! Pool area - was nice and relaxed, quiet (could maybe be nice to have some gentle music at certain times of day? But also appreciated the peace). Pool was heated in the evening. Bar had drinks and foods available, again nice atmosphere here. Location - really great, right in the middle of the beach, nice to walk along and has loads of restaurants and bars along it, feels safe and a nice atmosphere in the evening - people dancing or playing volleyball or hanging out on the beach itself. There are shops not too far away, or a one hour walk to the old town highstreet and the Santa Ana cathedral (of course quicker by bus/taxi). We got the hotel by taxi but getting a bus back to the airport was really easy - follow google map suggestions, and can pay by card (take a mask with you as you need to wear one). The beach is perfect holiday style beach

I think the only negative I would give this hotel was that the wifi signal was bad on the 5th floor, actually sometimes I would get better wifi signal when on the beach. One suggestion I would give is that in the evening the bar/restaurant area would be more appealing to spend time in if the lights were dimmed, however there are loads of places to go out nearby for food and drinks.
