This IS a Gem of a hotel . Small & Bijou . The location is perfect for the Santa Catalina / Las Canteras area of Las Palmas .Friendly efficient staff greet you on arrival ( or easy self check in if they are temporarily away ). Our room had great views from the second floor overlooking the parque & port .The service área in our room was well equiped .Kettle ,glasses ,bottle opener , mini fridge , free bottled water & even a small cloth to dry your cups . Comfortable beds & nice crisp linen . Housekeeping daily. On floors 2 & 3 are coffee corners equiped with tea , coffee, kettle & Microwave to warm any products .There are also 2 seating corners on floors 1 & 2 to sit & read or relax . The top floor ( 3 ) has a fabulous roof terrace with seating áreas & Bean bags . Ideal for relaxing or sitting & having a drink / snacks . Great views day & night from the roof . Located all around the hotel are an abundance of places to eat , Spars & mini markets . The long beach & promenade of Las Canteras IS only 5 minutes walk away ( along calle Ripoche & calle Sgto llagos ). A vibrant Cosmopolitan area .Walking along the promenade is a pleasant 25 minute walk to Las Arenas CC from the hotel . 5 minutes walk from Santa Catalina bus estación & Port to the hotel .

Nothing to dislike . Our stay was very pleasant . We live on the island in the South & visit the North frequently , and have tried many hotels in various locations in the city . This one IS currently our favourite. 5 stars all round .

The location is great - just a 5 - 10 minute walk to the main beach which is AMAZING. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the little kitchen area is really useful. Bed is very comfy! We tend to go when the carnival is on and it can be really noisy but closing the windows stops most of the noise and its generally all over by about 11pm - 12pm. There are restuarants below but tbh we like the noise and the hub-bub. The number 60 bus takes you direct to and from the airport and is only about ÂŁ3 pp. its a good location, small and boutique kind of little hotel.

They are under new management which is fine and the chap on reception was lovely, but we were a little suprised that the room wasn't cleaned. The room was lovely and clean and tidy when we arrived and we stayed for 4 nights but still a little suprised that the room wasn;t cleaned. Not a big issue just a little suprised.

I was very late booking a hotel in what was a very busy Carnival Weekend night. The hotel was not my first choice, which was booked out. It is in fact one of a new breed of mini hotels with limited in-house facilities such as cafe or restaurant etc. It provides the basics i.e beds, bathroom shower. However the Hotel Catalina does this in some style, with cleverly designed and tasteful rooms, which although they have the minimum requirements i.e no enclosed wardrobes, it is not really a problem for those looking for a one night stay in pleasant surroundings in a centre city location at a reasonable price.

The fact there is not a 24 hour reception, could be a problem if one was unable to access the entrance via a card after a certain time at night. There is a phone number provided if there is a problem, but I can imagine it would be an uncomfortable inconvenience to be standing outside the door late at night trying to make contact via a phone..

When booking, it appeared from photos that the room was bigger, contained a couch and in general was more spacious. This was not what we experienced. However, it was adequate to our needs and we were reasonably satisfied.

Rooms could have been cleaned more frequently and in 14 nights of staying, our bed sheets were changed ONCE. Also, the beds are adequate for a child/teenager - certainly not adult.

Spent two nights in one of the penthouse rooms on the top floor with access to a terrace and the roof terrace. The welcome on arrival was helpful and friendly. Room was excellent and great to have kettle, fridge microwave and hob. The beds were really comfortable. Well designed and spotless. The location is great, very close to the beach. The hotel backs on to a park lined with bars and cafes. It’s lively and noisy but a really relaxed atmosphere. We enjoyed having the roof terrace to chill out above all the busyness but also being able to step outside just 10 metres for a relaxing breakfast or coffee or evening drink in the park. Great option for a short or longer stay.

The location is perfect, close to the bus station and the beach 🏖️. Staff were nice. They offer every day room cleaning and towels changing. Happy to stay with this hotel for one week.

Maybe the noise from the happy weekend ( Friday and Saturday night was little bit crowded from the bar under the hotel, quiet from o’clock 02:00) weekdays were quiet .

We loved our stay at Bed and Chic and it can definitely be our go-to place for the stays in Las Palmas. Location: excellent, 350m to the bus stop for the airport, easy access to the beach and promenade, tons of restaurants around. Facilities: very nice, clean and a cool rooftop. Room has a mini fridge and the air conditioning unit. Room: super clean, stylish and fantastic beds! We had perfect sleep in these beds. Staff: super-friendly and helpful.

We liked everything, it’s a great place and top value for money.

Room was very comfortable, with nice decor. There was some noise from the street, and the local authorities empty the rubbish bins - placed in the street outside the room - every night after 22:00, which we found disturbed us. It was good that there were some kitchen facilities, though more cutlery/crockery would have been good.

Noisy surroundings. Windows did not insulate well from the noise.

Hotel Bed&Chic is perfect solution for those who dont want to rent car, just few minutes from bus station (very good bus connections to all parts of islands and to airport too), everything you need is just few minutes from this hotel- beaches, walking daily trips, caffee bars, shopping centers, restaurants. I recomend to bring own earplugs because hotel is located in frequent part of city. Receptionist Jonathan is very kind person and assisted me when I needed any help with accomodation.

The staff was very friendly and the place looks very nice. I love the rooftop area and the easy 24 hours access. I also liked that the buses and taxis stop exactly in the square in front of the hotel We came by boat to Agaete and the bus from there drove straight to the square in front of the hotel

On the rooftop that was so lovely but I was never really sure if I was bothering the people who were living there because there are some rooms there with doors to the rooftop area
