Always a good/easy overnight stay at Hotel Alisa. Always use this hotel on way down or back from Southern Spain. Just off A1 motorway but medieval town with walks along the river. Hotel is basic but clean and friendly. Very pet friendly. Restaurant is always super-busy with locals so seems good but does not open in the evening until 9pm so as a solo traveller I don't use it. At the end of the day if you travel solo just with your dog like I do for 50 Euros per night roughly Hotel Alisa gives you everything you could ever want and I recommend it to anyone.

Nothing really. It's an older style hotel so if pushed I would say the 15" TV that sits right up in the corner of the room and is not really viewable from the bed as too small/old fashioned but that is a minor negative comment.

Stopped at this hotel in December on our way down south from Santander & again yesterday on our return journey to Santander . We gave two dogs and this stop is ideal - just off the motorway and we and our dogs were roundly welcomed, dogs allowed in bar ! It’s not fancy , bit old fashioned but very comfortable beds and dinner was very good and great value . The town itself is worth having a Walk around - very interesting !

There was nothing we did not like !

Convenient for travelling north to Santander, very close to the motorway but no traffic noise. You can eat in the bar or wait for the dining room to open at 8.30pm. They accept pets and you can also take them to the bar.

Before I arrive the hotel kept asking me for credit card details although I had already paid in full and intimated that if I did not provide the details they 'might' cancel my reservation. Had to get Booking.com to sort it.

Clean friendly dog friendly hotel with large car park. Next to the river so easy access for a dog walk. You can take your dog into the bar. Rooms are basic but comfortable and adequate. We will use again.

Breakfast is not served until 8am and dinner not until 8.30pm (although you can get a small meal in the bar). We were using the hotel on our journey long journey back to England from Andalucia so we like an early start.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times as it is such a good stop over on the way south from the ferry. A busy yet quiet hotel with massive car park. The rooms are dated but are well equipped unfortunately without aircon but fans are supplied. The hotel has a fine restaurant which serves fantastic food to cater for most tastes. Although dated I rate this hotel highly and recommend you try it.

The breakfast is very basic continental without cooked options.

The hotel is ideally placed in Lerma as it is close to the motorway but not that close to hear traffic noise. We checked in and for a small fee was able to park our VW campervan in the secure underground car park. The room was excellent, very clean and included all the facilities - just what we needed after a long drive from Murcia. We noticed when we checked in, the adjoining restaurant was full (always a good sign, bums on seats and all that) but because we had food with us, we had no need to use it. We will the next time we visit as we will definitely stay at the Alisa again.

With the hotel, nothing We were unfortunate in that at 1am in the morning we were woken up when people arrived in the room above in close proximity to ours and began to move furniture around. It was very loud and lasted for approximately 15 minutes. We could only think that they were moving single beds together. As a result we stayed awake for a long time. This was nothing to do with the hotel itself, just very inconsiderate people.

A nice friendly hotel conveniently situated for the motorway I had a tasty meal in the bar rather than the restaurant which suited me well

Not much but the fight for a coffee in the morning is the only thing that comes to mind, it must be the most popular place for breakfast for miles around, but I say that with a smile on my face as it has to be experienced to be believed.

The hotel has a good location just off of the Autovia. There was plenty of parking. The room and bathroom were spacious . It was Sunday so the dining room was very busy at lunchtime but there we could have dined in the evening without problem. We ate in the bar which had a reasonable choice and the prices were reasonable for both food and drink.

It was a little noisy. Our room seemed to be next to a rest room and I could hear a hand dryer constantly.

Ideal for us. We use Hotel Alisa each time we return to uk by ferry. Very good situation. Great staff especially the blond lady on reception, very pleasant. Good food. Rooms fine as we have a dog. Shower was lovely, walk in and big.

The ground floor dog friendly rooms are getting very damp now. They need a refurb. Even the sheets felt damp, lots of condensation, no air vent in bathroom.

The property is well located just minutes walk into Lerma yet very close to the motorway to make it an easy stop over to Santander ferry or a leisure stop on your way south. The staff are very helpful and the receptionist mostly speaks English. The restaurant is small but very welcoming and the food is of fantastic quality. I recommend this hotel highly.
