Room was big, comfortable and clean if a little tired. Very quiet inside the room with little noise from corridors etc and considering hotel is in a busy area no noise from outside. Location great. Busy vibrant area with plenty shops, cafes and bars. Close to Metro if you want to use it and a reasonably short walk to the Palace.

Having booked a hotel with a pool for our 10yr old would have appreciated being informed we had to book a timeslot. half hour periods allowed and just a heads up this pool is in the fitness area and is not necessarily a 'fun' swim for kids. Swimming caps must be worn FYI.

Loved the location was less than a 10 min walk to the busy part of the main street so was nice to stay in the quieter part of the street easy to get to sleep. Staff were so friendly and hotel was absolutely spotless. Rooms very big and spacious.

Pool isn't actually the hotel pool its in a separate commercial gym with an entrance for hotel guests and only 3 different times to use the pool and its right in the middle of the gym not very relaxing with everyone in the gym able to see into the pool so we went down had a look but didn't use We arrived on a Saturday, so we had 2 drinks each on that evening. Ordered Bombay gin, which is a basic enough gin (in Ireland anyway), went to get the bill and was charged €80 for 4 G&Ts 😳 safe to say we got a massive shock! They classes Bombay Gin as a "premium gin" We went again on our last night and ordered 2 glasses of white wine, which came to €8 for the two. Massive price difference in the bar, so just check the prices when ordering!

Hotel has a great location - you can walk less then 15min to Plaza Espana or to Gran Via and there are 2 metro lines just in front of the hotel. The shopping mall is next door, so it is quick easy to get an uber or bolt. The room is very big. We booked triple room and we had 2 double beds and one extra in addition to L shaped couch. And there was still plenty of room to move around. Room was warm and blackout curtains were good.

The heat and sound isolation from the windows is not the best. When standing close to the windows, you can feel the breeze and you can hear the traffic, especially the ambulance (hospital is further down the road). I guess that is why hotel is doing renovations, you can see that one wing has ongoing windows replacement. We stayed during Christmas holidays, so we didn't hear any construction work, but I guess it can be an issue on "normal" days.

The hotel is very well situated close to the city centre and metro stations. It also shares a wall with the department store El Corte Ingles, which is a bonus. The interior was well decorated. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Rooms are temperature controlled so you stay warm in the cold winter months. For breakfast, they have a good variety of hot food, cereals and cakes. Definitely worth repeat stays.

The hotel was under renovation at the time we were staying there, but honestly it did not affect or hinder us in any way. The reception staff need to be more informed about sightseeing for tourists.

Hotel is a bit worn out but still all good. Friendly staff at reception. Very good location, next to metro station and shopping mall. A lot of caffes in the area - so breakfast can be eaten there. Comfy beds and pillows and spacy room.

Ordering the swimming pool for 30 min session - kind of strange approach to be frank.

The hotel was in a great location, very close to all the places we wanted to visit so we could walk there. Right next to the hotel there is a subway and a bus station (also the free buses 001 and 002) so it is very easy to get to the airport, the train station and all the attractions in Madrid. The room was good with a big and comfortable bed

The internet in our room was terribly slow with many interruptions. In the corridor in front of the room, at the reception, or in front of the elevators, it was good, so when I had to do some work, I had to leave the room. At the reception, they were very kind and promised to send someone to fix the problem, but it is not a maintenance job but a problem of their internet infrastructure. The pool must be booked a day or two in advance and can be used only for 30 minutes.

This is my second time staying here, we had a classic room on a high floor room, although they had some construction going on everyday even on Saturday and Sunday so could hear banging and drilling from 8am, however they offered us an upgrade to a room on the other side of the hotel, but we stayed in the same room as it was cosy and very quiet at night, and no one was above us so didn't want to risk the change for noise above us. The beds are comfy and room has everything you need. Supermarket is just around the corner as is the metro. Very easy to get everywhere from the metro line 3. Plaza del Madrid is walking distance if you want to go there and then walk onto the Grand via where the shops are. There is also a shopping center right next to the Hotel. On this trip the staff were really friendly and helpful, especially Isabella at reception. The gym is really good, has lots of equipment and everything you need for a good pump.

No bidet in the bathroom but not the end of the world. Construction was still going on the Sunday. But maybe that is normal in Spain I don't know. Gym closes at 15:00 on Sunday so only managed to get 10 mins in before I was told it's closing.

this hotel location is perfect. we were allowed to check in early and late. the rooms were huge and very clean and the hotel is near metro train and bus stops. we could walk to so many venues. so many shops around the hotel. the shower was heavenly loved showering it was so powerful. the breakfast selection was good. nearby restaurants and cafes are ample. the staff are professional. its beautiful inside and outside. the bed was very comfortable, linen clean and fresh, huge bathroom, comfortable arm sofa, the hotel was quiet with thick walls you could hardly hear anyone outside, housekeeping was on point. the hotel has sky sports so we enjoyed watching the football. The hotel provides a kettle with variety of tea, coffee and milk, there was an ironing board and a wardrobe and a safe which was a bonus.

The only disappointing fact was that the restaurant food was so basic and lacked flavours we ordered salmon and it was awful it didn't even have salt flavour, the room was hot at night and the AC doesn't operate during winter time and you have to request for the staff to open the windows if needed, the windows need a bit of cleaning though, no English channels on the TV. the pool was too small and there was not so many available slots for the guests.

Location and price is a good value for the distance to Grand Via and the parks. Easy to drive from the airport and has private parking.

This hotel has the typical poorly designed showers that most European hotels have. Expect to have to dry up the puddles of water after showering. There is no way not to flood your floor and have to soak a towel after every use. I have stayed there 4 times now and all 4 rooms have severe water damage to all the bathroom doors from the water. Don't worry, most hotels have half shower glass doors with poor seals.

The location was excellent for visiting main attractions in the city. The staff across all venues were friendly and helpful, able to answer queries in English when my faltering Spanish couldn’t cope. The room was very comfortable and spacious with excellent bathroom facilities. The underground car park felt safe and secure and it was easy to find a space there.

Some aspects of the rooms were in need of refurbishment but not so much as to spoil the comfort of the room. The opening times for the swimming pool were very restrictive which meant we could never plan a swim to coincide with our trips out.
