This is in a non-descript building in a neighborhood. Within 3 blocks there is a taco place, an organic grocery store , a bazaar and a bank. The place was very quiet at night. The room was very small but had everything I needed. I liked the room very much. Clean, white towels with no scent. Clean white sheets with no scent. Beds were comfy and well made. Housekeepers were very friendly and helpful .

There could be better signage at The front gate. A bottle of water in the room.

great location, just next to the temple of debod, and walkable distance to madrid palace self check-in and out, convenient many good restaurants nearby

1. bit far to the metro station, yet there are several bus stations nearby 2. some of my one-time personal cleaning items, like shampoo, wipes were treated as trash and dumped by the cleaning staff, it is not a big deal just inconvenience caused.

Perfectly clean residence with a comfy bed and nicely sized room. The cupboards were great, with space for both of us to hang the majority of our clothes during our 4 day stay. The bed was spotless with clean, crispy sheets and two great pillows per person. The AC was a LIFESAVER, since the outside heat was unbearable. We also loved the self-checkin and housecleaning that was invisible - we would come back to a freshly made bed and new toilet paper.

For some reason we weren't able to get the water to flow cold both in the sink and shower, making it very hard to get a glass of water in the apartment.

No staff, entry to building, hostel and room are all keyless. It was perfectly ok for me, but may not be ideal for some. Safe box didn't work in my room Bed had no headboard, so tricky to read/sit

Property was very clean, and in a lovely condition. Bathroom was modern and lovely to use. Air conditioning worked well. Bed very comfortable. Check in very easy and location fantastic.

It would have been nice to have access to a kettle. The room was much smaller than we were expecting, and had the bare minimum, as advertised, but therefore was not as comfortable as it could have been.

Marco Polo is situated in a historic building on an atmospheric residential street, just a few steps away from Plaza España. Tastefully decorated, it is small but comfortable and very clean. We really enjoyed our overnight stay there.

It would have been great to leave our luggage at the accommodation after check-out, but that was not an option. Otherwise, everything was nice.

a kettle would have come in handy, either in the room or in the common area - there was none, so no way to make your own tea. the walls are very thin and the waterpipes are very noisy, to the degree i felt uneasy to use the shower at too early an hour so as not to wake up the neighbors

The accommodation is in a great location, on the side of the Gran Via street, excellently connected by buses to the most important locations in the city, which can be reached very quickly. The instructions for self-check-in to accommodation are very clear. The room was very clean and solidly furnished, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean, the air conditioner worked great. If I come back to Madrid, I will probably book the room again.

Beautiful apartment in a nice building, freshly renovated rooms and floor. I liked the decor, bed and pillows were comfortable. Great location, instructions on how to get into the building very clear and good so no problem with that. There is no reception, so make sure to have your phone on ;) I slept well. Room functional and had all the amenities.

The elevator was out of order when I left. Of course it isn't the fault of the property, however there are no staff on the premises and I have a knee problem, and as such I had nobody to ask for help getting down with my luggage (which would be no problem if the elevator worked). I managed but it was a little time consuming and uncomfortable, but again - not a fault of property. But this could be potentially detrimental for more physically disabled guests. Also there were tiiiiny things that would have made the room a little more comfortable - for example a shelf in the shower for toiletries, or a night table by the bed. But these are really small things. Aside from them, all good! I wish it wasn't so expensive, but I guess that's to be expected at this time in Madrid.
