In a reasonable location near the centre and close to the transport network. The room was very comfortable. The breakfast was good. The bar food was good. Most noteworthy was the excellent staff. We had a couple of minor problems with the room, but they sorted them out quickly and effectively. Also, my wife sprained her ankle and the staff were very helpful to help us mitigate that issue. It was a little over our normal budget, but the excellence of the staff and the genuinely good experience there softened the blow to our wallet!

Only a minor thing - as with many modern hotels, it was set up to use air con. We prefer to be able to open the window as another option, but we had to arrange for the hotel to do this for us. They did this without a fuss, but I’d prefer to just be able to choose between air con and window.

Amazing stay! Way better than expected! Really nice people and service. Beautiful decoration in the hotel and the room. The breakfast (happening in the other hotel next to the Voco) is very good and diverse. The gym is small but sufficient ! The room and bathroom were big! New water bottles offered everyday! The hotel is just a few minutes walk from the Retiro park!

Everything was really great but the room was missing a little fridge that could be useful to cold our bottles especially in hot summer. A toilet brush in the bathroom and a larger bin in the room would have been good.

Staying at the Voco Hotel in Madrid exceeded our expectations. The room was spacious, modern, and elegantly decorated, with a comfortable queen-size bed and high-quality linens. Large windows provided great city views, filling the space with natural light. The amenities were excellent, including a flat-screen TV, coffee machine, and a sleek desk area for working. The bathroom was a highlight, featuring a rain shower, luxury toiletries, and soft towels. The location was perfect—central but quiet, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, it was an ideal blend of comfort and style for a stay in Madrid.

Right from walking in the door was greeted and made to feel welcome. Lovely lady named Sandra got me checked in, I asked about places for tapas and she drew them out on a map for me (she was right! ). Up to the room, in shock at how nice it was, bed was as big as my London flat and a tv about the same size. I had been travelling through Europe and was really looking forward to a shower, the bathrooms are really fancy and I must have stayed in that shower for an hour it was so nice. Went out and walked 10 minutes to Retiro park, from there another 10 minutes to some tapas bars. Will definitely be back to this hotel.

Nice gym. Easy walk to Ritero and the metro. Very close to reach the airport. The aircon was not working in my room so the lovely receptionist gave me a free upgrade to an amazing little suite. I arrived late in the night and he was so welcoming (big plus to have 24/7 reception). The rooms have all the necessary amenities including bathrobes. He also allowed me 1h extra in the room after checkout time because I had to work.

Breakfast is a little basic but still alright. The hotel is not in the center of Madrid so it’s still a little bit of a journey to get to the main attractions.

No in-room tea or coffee facilities. They say it’s security? Like is the wiring dangerous or are they worried about tea bag fights?

Room for 2 adults and 2 children structured as a suite, with sofa(bed) and table room separated from bed room Free water bottles renewed everyday: makes you fell truly "welcome" Furniture clean and without issues Other excellent thing to mention is that standard rate from IHS website gives you only breakfast for the 2 adults included, while reservation through Booking.com provided breakfast included for all of us (4). This was correctly done by hotel staff without any incident/misunderstanding/need to argue: should be something like "as a given" but nowadays having a smooth stay in hotel is no longer the typical case. An extremely good surprise: wrt the info I got previously from reviews and/or website, breakfast was served at -1 floor instead of moving to neighbor Marriot: consider that weather last week (Easter '24) was extremely bad, rainy and cold as in full winter...

One night a drunk guest from another room (probably the room above us) shouted for few minutes around until 3-4am: franlky speaking it's something you have to account for in Spain, especially in vacation period, I do not feel to blame hotel itself for a poor sound isolation and the thing resolved after not so much time so I didn't call the staff in the end - but be prepared about this possibility.

Things we realy enjoyed: - The hotel is fancy and we lived in a scpacious and stylish room. - It was neat and clean in our room. - Modern interior. - In the bath, you have everything: body gel, lotion, shampoo, and conditioning, all in abundance. It's cool! It's cool! Not just little bottles. - It was easy to get to the center of the city.

Some adjustments better to make: - Change the cloth hangers, because the current ones are too weak and fragile. I couldn't even hang two simple blouses on one. - Bed Sheets made of the material which causes noise. It disturbs the ears while sleeping. - It seems that breakfast can cost less.

Check in was smooth very friendly staff, breakfast was amazing , great choice and spacious dining. Bed was really comfy, tea making facilities and complementary drinks made our stay more enjoyable . Location was perfect for myself and my husband as we like to stroll to the centre which took us about 30 minutes . Close to Retiro park which we walked through every morning and is beautiful .

Nothing I can honestly say would put me off going back , it would be nice however if hotel at number 11 to have a more of a restaurant rather than just bar snacks .

Very clean and modern. Good location, though not as central to Retiro as the name might suggest.

There was a noisy private party in bar area very late. It could be heard all the way to the 9th floor through the elevator shafts. The room had some kind of repetitive mechanical sound as if a fan or blower was starting, then would shut down in about 5 seconds with a whir then start up again. It was continuous the entire time we were there.
