The hotel is in the city center, close to everything, in walkable distance from the main train station (if you are not having any suitcases with you or if you are ok to drag them for ~20 minutes). The corridors and rooms were clean, equipment mostly new or in good shape. There is coffee/hot water machine in the rooms which is also a nice addition. Staff was nice and we had no problems during check-in, check-out or at the breakfast. Cleaning service was awesome. Breakfast had all the basics and we've been offered coffee upon arrival. And since we had to check-out early we had the packed breakfast for take away and that was better than expected, certainly worth it. If boutique is your thing then this stay will very likely be a pleasant one for you. If not, it is not a bad option either, it just has it quirks.

The overall experience is good, but there are some aspects that I guess could improve. Breakfast was quite basic even thought the hotel is big so one would expect more variety, more options. As the building is an older one and quite large it also is a bit of a labyrinth to navigate, but nothing terrible. And I think the rooms could use something larger than small coffee cups as these are too small for a tea, though one could probably use glasses which are located in the bathroom.

Phenomenal location! Central to most things you’ll visit on a short visit, very walkable, including not too far from the Atocha Train Station. The room, though facing the street, was completely quiet. Everything was clean, new, and comfortable. The front desk staff were superb! If we had one less than stellar area, it was the breakfast. Breakfast is a good deal and convenient, however, the staff was super slow with coffee or refilling empty dishes on the buffet. It all worked out OK, but the breakfast staff could use some more training. We would absolutely stay again!

The hotel is very well located and lovely. The room was confortable and clean. The bathroom perfectly clean! The personal was nice, discreet and very helpful.

The door at the breakfast room! Most of the guests are unable to close the door (a simple easy door!🙄), the waitress spends her time closing politely the door before the room gets too cold. It shouldn't be part of her job! Change to an automatic door, thanks for her and the people who try to keep their breakfast warm. The cup of coffee was too small to start my day.😅

Excellent location, in easy walking distance of all the main sights and areas full of restaurants and bars to choose from. Would highly recommend for a short city stay. Excellent buffet breakfast with plenty of choice, all fresh and well stocked. Very friendly and helpful reception staff.

The room maintenance could be better, as the air conditioning was poor and the control unit for the lights had a random loud irritating buzzing.

The lobby receptionnists were quite easy to understand and give us all information needed. The room itself was large enough to fit three vacationners. It had a cosy and smooth interior design, especially the bathroom. The cleaning was made on a daily basis perfectly, nothing to add, it was a proper job. The A/C was quite powerfull and clearly a big asset in this hot days. In fact, there was A/C at the hotel reception. Entering the building was really refreshing. And I like the fact 2 coffee capsule were brought each time the cleaning was made, offering the coffee each morning. And Finally, the hotel building is in the middle of everything in Madrid, near the best places, It's quite simple to quit the building and find everything you need by less than 15 minutes walking. It was a pleasant experiment and it would be a pleasure to come back again.

Location is city center, walking distance to many of main sightseeing spots, yet it is very quiet, clean and less tourist. We had a king and a single bed for three people, with a big enough sofa in a room. Beds are extremely comfortable with firm mattresses. Massive thick towels in shower room. Room, bathroom, very clean throughout. Coffee machine was an added bounce. We had such a present stay here, definitely stay again if we come back to Madrid.

Bottle of water in a room would be good.

Great location easy access to metro and main Renfe Attocha stations and the main shopping areas and central Madrid Rooms are very clean and well kept Friendly and very helpful staff

There are a few stairs in the reception area difficult to get your suitcase up without any help and another step when getting to your rooms.

I booked this for the wacky design of a bathtub in the middle of the main room. I got what I ordered. The location could not be better - park for the Prado, walk through the underground parking to the other end and you pop up a block from the hotel. Booking asked if we felt safe - this is across from the Congress building, there are two military dudes standing in front bearing serious hardware. so, yes and no but mostly yes, I don't think anyone will be mugging anyone on this street.

It was a little strange for a luxury hotel - no iron, no toiletries, not even hand lotion, no extra pillows or blankets despite two huge empty cabinets, one of the TV's didn't work. It took almost ten minutes for hot water to get hot, but then was plenty hot. The bed was great, the furnishings were interesting, but they were in a three room shotgun shack formation (found down a thirty foot corridor) with the bathroom largest, open air, and first. The "lobby" was a lower tier NYC vibe, almost a storefront with a very nice person behind a desk, but then there is a nice open air atrium in the middle. I wouldn't say the experience was at all bad, just too many moments of wondering why something was or wasn't.

The hotel is very well located on a quiet street within a short walk in multiple directions from top areas for exploring/business/restaurants/nightlife. If you are at all concerned about security, since it is located right behind congress, there's a 24-hour police presence right outside the door. No graffiti or peeing in corners here. The hotel is pleasant and comfortable, pieced together in a warren of rooms. Very quiet for being in the middle of things. My room, a deluxe double, was a good size for a European downtown property, the bed was comfortable, though the bathroom while adequate was dated. Nice breakfast in the morning. Not super fancy, but fresh fruit, good coffee and pastries. This hotel gave me what I needed - a nice bed, shower, wifi, and breakfast, at a good price point. The staff were pleasant and helpful.

The bathroom could be retiled. It was clean, though.

Great location for getting to know the city. Close to public transport (express bus from the airport and the metro station), the Prado museum and many restaurants around. The hotel has been very well restored, beautiful rooms and very comfy beds. The staff are super kind and make you feel welcomed. I would for sure stay here again.

The breakfast at the restaurant could be better. The place felt a bit isolated and empty.
