Good standard of accommodation in a surprisingly quiet area next to the main railway station and a short walk from the city centre.

Window hard to open (AC stops in the winter season and reverts to heating only; not good with outside temps at 20 degs plus). Bathroom: ill-fitting ceiling tiles, finishes needing some tlc and slight smell of rot. Sound insulation in the bathroom with the room next door also poor and felt as if the guests there were in our room.

Very helpful reception staff. Convenient for the beach and the Russian museum (walking distance) and just 20 minutes walk into town. Close to the station so good for travelling out on day trips. Breakfast was good.

No proper wardrobe - just hanging space and open shelves. I like to put my clothes out of sight and would expect this in a four star hotel, especially in the superior room we had booked. Cafe area a bit soulless - like being in an airport cafe. The hotel is in a bit of a concrete jungle and could be improved by real plants rather than plastic ones!

It was clean, roomy, and very quiet. Surprisingly quiet. Great location for connecting to train or even getting to / from airport. The walk to the center of town is pleasant, safe, approximately a mile, maybe less.

Long wait for elevators when a large group was leaving, all w sizable luggage one morning. The two elevators were too small to accommodate more than a couple of people at a time. I found the stairs and was good. If I were not up to walking I would go for something in town. But for me this was really great, loved the spacious, quiet room, the cleanliness and overall feel of the hotel. Staff were great, welcoming and helpful, even after I’d checked out and needed help w a train ticket.

My room was huge, too big for just me but not a complaint. I didn't use the gym (I was in Malaga for the marathon). Breakfast was great, lots of variety and excellent coffee. The location was good, a little out of town but not impossible to get there and walkable in 15 minutes. Or the train station is right around the corner

One unusual thing, on my last night I came back to my room in the late afternoon and my bed and pillows were damp. I didn't mention it at the hotel at the time as I just let everything air out and it was dry enough by the time I actually went to bed

The staff were amazing! Such a warm welcome from Sandra at reception. She was friendly, welcoming and highly professional during check in and throughout our stay. On arriving early and asking to leave our luggage at the hotel until a room was available, Sandra immediately offered us a wonderful upgraded room with a terrace. When leaving we had to check out very early for a flight and again received similar friendly helpful service from Alex. They both made our last day in Malaga memorable and we look forward to returning to this hotel again.

It was extremely convenient for us being right by the station. We were kindly given an upgrade to a better room either terrace. The welcome at the hotel was excellent. The room was very clean, spacious and modern. The shower was brilliant. A very comfortable stay. A big thanks to the charming man at hotel reception.

Great hotel located very near the Maria Zambrano station. The room was of a good size, clean, modern and had a nice private balcony. Same for the toilet, really good size, clean and with all the amenities you'd expect. The main bed was really large and super comfortable. The staff at reception were friendly and gained my kids over with some complimentary marshmallows that they have at the front desk. The gym was adequate although some machines felt a bit cheap.

We stayed in the room with a terrace. It was a really good size and the outdoor space was invaluable for us as it meant we could still enjoy our evening as the baby slept inside. Complimentary bottles of water and sweets were a lovely touch. The bed was huge and very comfy. Parking directly below the hotel was a bonus.

It was a little further out of the old town than we realised but that wasn’t really an issue. It was also a bit noisy out on the terrace with a main road below, but it didn’t impact us hugely. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Great location, close to excellent restaurants and shopping. But most important, close to public transportation to the airport, the port, buses and trains. Being that it is located next to a transportation hub, of course there are people looking to take advantage of others but I felt safe. This is located right next to a great mall where you can get groceries and jackets or whatever and still catch a train or bus! I did enjoy my stay here! Very clean and comfortable bed! While not on the beach, I was able to walk there and visit the port in an easy 30 minute walk!

Hate to say it but the gentleman who checked me could have been a little more kinder but I am used to it. I backpack, by choice, people think less of us everywhere. We are normal humans who choose to live with the least we can carry and hey, I can afford to pay to stay in this place!
