Lack of tea/coffee making anywhere in hotel. It is a bed only hotel. I knew this from reviews before I booked so was prepared. Nevertheless on 6th of Jan when cafe across the road was closed I had to walk some distance to get a warm drink.

Great cleanliness for 2* hotel. Beds and pillows were comfortable, despite that the mattress was old (on springs vs foam, as most mattresses are nowadays). Staff polite and helpful. Cleaning was made everyday. Reception open 24/24. We didn't have breakfast. Close to train station (7 min by foot) but a bit far from city center (25 min by foot). Centralized A/C working well (we tested on heat, as it was cold in the room).

There were some downsides, but hard to complain for 2* - overall quality ok for the price. I can point out that soundproof was bad, we could hear even the phone notifications of other guests. Doors closing made huge noise. I didn't like that the bed cover was the blanket itself, I would expect separate blanket so you can remove the cover of the bed at night (for hygiene purposes). The room we received had views to some inner stairs, so the room was dark and cold. We didn't complain about this because we requested a quiet room so I assume this was the only option not facing the main street.

The room is new and it has all the necessary for your staying. It doesn't has refrigerator but I asked in the reception to keep some food and they did and they were very polite. The location is good very close to railway station and I walked to every place from there. I did not have breakfast in hotel but there are many cafeterias close to the hotel were I had breakfasts. I could say that I have been to many 3 star hotels and this hotel is much better.

Maybe there is no refrigerator in the room, but it is a 2-star hotel. I think it is very good for only being 2 stars.

This was a good Hotel, in a good location. Very clean. The Staff were always pleasant and helpful at any time of the day or night. The room was very modern.. The breakfast was good with cereal, fruit, hot or cold food. It was a 5 minute walk at the Don Paco Hotel, round the corner. The Hotel is a 10 minute walk from Marie Zambranco Train Station and the Bus Station is beside it. 4 euro's to the airport by bus. The member of Staff at the reception allowed me to leave .my luggage at reception, as my flight didn't leave to later on that evening. When I come back to Malaga next year, I will stay here again.

Spotlessly clean and a bright, fresh room and public areas. .Comfy bed, extra blankets and towels. Hanging space for clothes, comfy chair and small desk. Bathroom looked as though it had just been newly refreshed (toilet seat looked new and new sealant around basin and bath).Free WiFi. When I was there, I found it very quiet in and around the premises. I slept very well. Friendly and helpful reception staff helped me up the first short flight of steps to the lift, with my heavy suitcase. Allowed me to check in almost 2 hours early, or even if that hadn't been possible, I could leave my luggage there, until the room was ready. Extremely handy location. A stone's throw from the bus and train stations. A straight walk along the river to the tourist area and monuments, museums etc. They ordered me a taxi for the airport, early next morning, which arrived bang on time. Great value for money. Will definitely be returning 🙂👍.

This hotel is an incredible find! Officially rated 2 stars due to lacking facilities like a coffee machine or on-site restaurant, it truly delivers a 4-star experience where it counts. The location is unbeatable, the price is fantastic, and the rooms are modern, spacious, and impeccably clean. If you’re looking for comfort, style, and excellent value, this hotel exceeds expectations. Don’t let the rating fool you—this is a hidden gem that feels much more luxurious than advertised. Highly recommended!

The room and bathroom were both spacious. There was a lovely big window to the side but there was also black out curtains for the night time. The shower was really lovely, and there was always hot water. We were on the 5th floor, but there is a lift so that's good. Bed was comfy and room was clean and there was also a free safe in the room. Staff friendly also. Hotel in ideal spot for metro and old town.

Towels could be a bit larger and I wasn't overly a fan of the long pillow as they were quite lumpy.

The first thing that caught my eye was the cleanliness! I haven’t seen such a clean hotel in a long time. Definitely a 10 out of 10. Some people mention that the hotel doesn’t have refrigerators in the rooms, but they do have a large communal fridge on the first floor. They also offer paid parking (around €15 per day). Make sure to reserve a spot before check-in to ensure availability. I really enjoyed my stay here—this is the best 2-star hotel I’ve ever experienced! If you have a car, the beautiful Playa La Malagueta is waiting for you. However, if you’re without a car, the beach might be a bit far. The city center is a 10-15 minute walk away.

The room was small but renovated, well equipped with shelving and a closet. Big windows which let in good light. The bathroom was modern with a good shower. No bidet. Good soundproofing except when our neighbour arrived at his room at 3am and he needed to be let in. Otherwise quiet and uneventful.

Ideally we would have liked to be closer to the old quarter of Malaga. but the daily walks to museums and restaurants were enjoyable. In our travels, we discovered several sites which we might have otherwise missed.

Arrived by car and able to park outside to unload. Warmly greeted by reception. Modern room, comfortable with effective air con and also a ceiling fan. Good bathroom with powerful shower. Excellent blackout curtains, needed to keep out hot sun during the day. Booked the single hotel parking spot, underground on site, for whole stay on arrival, meaning car was safe; the charge was reasonable. Strongly recommend the Cafeteria Torru on the street opposite the hotel for a delightful breakfast experience. It can be busy but local people wait, usually briefly, for a table Location is ideal for the historical centre and the nearby port area has local restaurants and bars. Nice walk by the river into the centre. Reception was always helpful and gave good suggestions for restaurants. We would certainly endorse Casa Lola on Calle Grenada for a superb tapas experience.
