I travelled with my brother. It is one of the most exciting places we have ever had the opportunity to sleep in. It has a real character, a little mysterious, but at the same time, it is where you feel at home. The hosts were very welcoming and hospitable and made every effort to ensure we had a good time. The traditional Andalusian breakfast was served, including bread with olive oil, tomato, avocado, Serrano ham, cakes, orange juice and Nespresso coffee. We also had the opportunity to try bananas from the impressive garden. In the evenings, you can listen to classical music in the living room and feel the atmosphere of life in an authentic Spanish mansion. The area is closed to guests, with an automatic closing gate and a large private parking lot close to the house. If necessary, you can drive right to the house.

I missed having a desk in our room. The location can be challenging to access without a car, but it wasn't a problem in our case.

It was like staying in a stately home or a home that belongs to royalty or the National Trust in the UK! Beautiful gardens and views. Peaceful and intriguing in equal measure. Loved the host Julio and great to meet Stuart from north Derbyshire who was very welcoming working with Julio. Lovely breakfast with exotic fruit.

It was perhaps difficult to find and the car sat nav took me the wrong way up a mountain. Google map saved the day! The road to the property was narrow and you have to negotiate a small gate that opens with a code.

This is a very unique experience living in this estate. built in 1898 and renovated, and now has seven rooms to rent. This place is perfect for special events or a very unique bed-and-breakfast stay. Situated on 5 acres behind an auto gate. Entry into the parking area is tree lined and creates a spectacular entrance feel. The staff Alicia, Carmen and others was so helpful and kind, warm and inviting. We meet Julio and Ignacias two of the brothers that own the estate and there were awesome. It has a very nice garden surrounding the place with fruit trees.

The experience of living on an estate. The garden area and the swimming pool .

Beautiful building and our suite was excellent. Very quiet ( but it is a ‘big event’ hotel so I had checked that there was nothing on the night that we planned to stay!). We were made very welcome by the proprietor and the manager. Dinner was superb, beautifully cooked and presented.

The description is misleading. There was no bar and no snack bar. There was only one person on duty in the evening, the chef/waiter/manager and he went out for a while (super guy, friendly, really helpful, superb chef, so no complaints there!). There was no water in our room, the minibar was empty, and as there was nobody in the kitchen we were totally unable to get even a bottle of water, which we really needed after a couple of hours in the sun, let alone a beer or a sundowner! I managed to find him later and ask for a bottle of wine on the terrace, but by then we only had about fifteen minutes before dinner was served, so couldn’t enjoy sitting out with a drink as we had planned. From then on, the service was perfect, as was the food.

Overwhelming location with history and style. A real Insider Tipp for people visiting andalucia. I felt like a princess in a mini castle, actually it was like sleeping in a museum. The gardens were amazing. Fruits like in Eden. Birds, cats and the subtropical climate in the region made me feel, as if I was not in Europe anymore. Very nice and hearty house maid and host. Good breakfast with (probably) exotic fruits from the garden.

Mattress could have been more comfortable.

This place is all about the serenity and the staff. Beautiful gardens around the entire place for morning or evening walks, amazing house with obvious history that I would love to explore further, next time. The staff were polite and very helpful. The whole place has immense charm and it is really pleasing to the eye when floating in the swimming pool looking back on the house.

When we arrived one of the rooms had a very unpleasant smell, but as advised by the staff there wasn't a lot they could do. It vanished after several hours and we never got that again. Also, the kettle had mould inside and the fridge didn't appear to be working at all, these latter things are small that can be easily fixed.

it’s just unique and we love coming back here.

language is almost always an issue but I guess that’s on us. We were there out of season and possibly the only guests,so sadly my most favourite part of the Spanish breakfast was not available on this particular visit. but fresh orange juice and lovely view from upstairs room made up for it.

The location is spectacular and the service, super friendly. It's perfect for a few days of relaxation. We loved the pool, the gardens, and the quiteness. Very good breakfast with fresh fruit, juice, and even gluten-free bread and biscuits for me ❤️
