I liked the buffet there was lots of food to choose from. We went half board and had breakfast and dinner in there every night

The room said it had a double bed but it wasn't it was 2 single beds pushed together which was really uncomfortable. The 2 single beds used to drift apart and I'd find myself falling down the middle. I also didn't like how cold the pools were. I choose this hotel because it said that it had a heated swimming pool but all the pools were freezing cold. I choose this hotel so I could take my 5 month old baby swimming and the pools were too cold for her to go in. The pools were empty because of this. The room where the evening entertainment is was set out like a theatre so if there was a group of you it wasn't the best way to be sat as you are in a row rather than been sat round a table so you can chat aswell as watch the shows.

We had a fantastic holiday at the Elba hotel. The staff were the nicest, friendliest and most accommodating we have ever come across. The hotel rooms were spacious and very comfortable with their own private terraces with patio furniture and sun loungers. The pools were really great, particularly the salt water pool, Everywhere in the resort was pristinely clean. The location was very good with just a short stroll into Playa Blanca with shops and restaurants or to Flamingo beach for a swim. We would highly recommend and will stay here again.

The wifi was very poor. We were very surprised to have to pay to use the safe in the room, this has never been an extra charge in any other hotels we have stayed in. We were disappointed that we could not buy an ice cream anywhere in the hotel.

Our second visit to Elba, Great for kids upto age 10 for clubs and entertainment. Excellent location a short walk to flamingo beach and the other way to the town. Majority off staff are excellent, so kind to the children and go over and above. Rooms are modern, clean and well kept. Food is of a good standard, just the usual monotonous feeling after a few days although they do mix it up. Plenty of Excellent restaurants locally to get out and about. We typically fed a family of 4 for around €80 including a few drinks.

Some of the lifeguard staff and bar staff were a little rude at times, but this was not the norm, just a few occasions and notably the same people

The pool area is wonderful as is the accommodation. The staff were all very friendly, Gustavo and Manuela and another guy at breakfast time who I think was South African…all especially excellent staff. We enjoyed the evening entertainment…our son loved the mini disco and the animators were all wonderful. One night a woman spilt red wine on my wifes jacket. I went to reception to ask about getting it cleaned urgently and it was cleaned within 3 hours which was much appreciated. We had booked the prestige package and to be honest got little benefit from it. Wi-Fi never worked, could never get a table in the other restaurants, didn’t get a late check out etc so wouldn’t book prestige in the future.

We last stayed in 2018 and thought that the food wasn’t as good this year…inferior quality of produce at times and often cold. We also had to queue many nights for 30 minutes or more to get into the dining room which wasn’t fun with a hungry child.

The resort was beautiful, it looked fairly new, everything was tidy there were cleaners and gardeners everyday. It looks exactly like the pictures, the staff were very friendly, helpful and lovely, there was variety of food in the buffet. I had nothing to complain about at all I had an amazing stay

I just wish the room floors were swept/vaccumed during room service. Other than that I was happy with everything else, nothing to complain about.

The staff and the entertainment was excellent. Andrea and Laura are so good with the children, making them all feel welcome, getting them involved with all the activities and learning all their names. They really are a major asset to this hotel, and I would definitely return because of them, the kids absolutely love them. Even though our son was just 2 (kids club meant to be for over 4) he was still welcomed into all the activities he wanted to get involved with. Big love to Pepe, Andrea and Laura, from Luca xxx

Rooms could do with an update / deep clean. Only 1 a la carte open midweek, need to book early, as gets fully booked quickly.

The facilities were good, the entertainment and staff were great and really friendly. The pools were clean and had plenty of sun loungers. It was lovely having our own private terrace areas, the shower was great and the air con worked well.

The bedroom needed a bit of maintenance but overall felt clean, it was also smaller than I expected. There was plenty of food and a huge variety, we particularly enjoyed the themed dinners. The food was not the most amazing quality but still enjoyable nonetheless.

The staff were absolutely superb, always keen to help - nothing too much bother. Food was exactly what it was advertised as and we were very pleased. The swimming pool was exceptionally clean and very well maintained.

The entrance area to the rooms (communal) could be much cleaner - a bucket of water and a brush (once a week) would ensure dirt isn't taken in to the living area. Bathroom floor & skirting could have been cleaned more frequently - no real evidence this had been done for some time!

Great kids entertainment, 99% of staff EXCELLENT. Very clean, great facilities, nice food choices at breakfast/dinner buffets.

Italian restaurant was a disappointment. The food was just OK, and staff was poor. Very disappointing with starters which are strangely self service in the "restaurant". And the choice for starters was poor as there wasn't much left to choose.

We went full board (not all inclusive) All the meals were fabulous. Staff were v friendly and helpful. Our room was excellent. V private and the plants and trees around the hotel were beautiful. We walked to the beach everyday Playa Flamingo and got a bus to Playa Papayas one day. Pool etc looked great but we never used it.

All very good but we were there off peak. Not sure what it'd be like high season.
