The hotel is situated on a corner near the church and near to the car park. The road is a little busy and we had a road facing room which was a little noisy but earplugs resolved the issue. The hotel has a cafe/bar (open to the public) which is open till 8pm and that is where breakfast is served. Breakfast is basic, orange juice, coffee, a fried egg, toast and pate/jam. The staff are all very friendly. There is a lift. The room was basic but clean. The bed was comfy but small. The bathroom was basic - shower over the bath. Take your own toiletries because they only supply sachets of shower get which are not very good. The TV had no English channels. The hotel is situated in a very convenient location for walking to all the sights and literally across the road from the parking which is 12 euros for 24 hours.

The bed was a small double and the room faced the road which was a little noisy but earplugs helped

A really nice small family run hotel. Had to wait an hour or so to get into the room but this wasn’t a problem as there is a bar in the hotel. Room was nice and clean, air con was good and blackout blinds on the window aided a good night’s sleep. Parking was easy as there is an underground car park just across the street where the hotel has an arrangement. Breakfast was good. Staff very friendly. Location is brilliant - a short stroll across a park to look at the surrounding lowlands - walk along the walled edge to arrive at the gorge and bridge. And a popular bar right opposite the hotel, which doesn’t stay open too late so no noise problem.

Nothing to dislike.

Surprised at how well I liked this hotel. It was super close to everything I wanted to see, all within walking distance! The room was small, (only there to sleep so no big deal) but really quaint. Very clean, good hot water! I didn't hear others except a tiny bit if they were right outside my door. It was really a great place to stay. I would definitely recommend it and I would stay here again! In the photo of the buildings, the hotel is to the right.

I was kind of surprised about the charge for parking. That was my mistake that I saw it had parking, but you had to really look to see there was a charge. Guess that's the way it goes.

Everything about the hotel and its place in Ronda, especially including the price to quality ratio, the cleanliness, and the welcoming hosts, probably make this the best place to stay in the town.

Only because it hasn’t been mentioned by anyone (or at least I haven’t seen it mentioned in the comments), I would point out the noise that comes from the street, and also from inside the hotel (where the soundproofing is “old-school” and leaves quite a bit of quiet to be desired) can disrupt one’s sleep in case you plan on sleeping past 8am.

Decorating was taking place in public areas and bedrooms. Everything looked very fresh and clean. Unfortunately I have chronic allergy issues and the wet paint started to aggravate my chest immediately. As soon as I mentioned the issue we were promptly relocated to another room on a different floor. We also promptly received a discount on our room rate (which we didn't ask for). Our initial room had a balcony and the replacement didn't. The second room also had a smaller bed. They did apologise for the lower grade room. The weather was raining so badly we would not have used the balcony anyway and we were only staying for one night. However we looked at the balcony before moving room and it was very smart and extremely spacious. A blanket was provided and a top sheet on the bed was very welcome because I find duvets too hot. The staff were warm and welcoming and immediately helped us with our bags when we checked in. The breakfast was a traditional Spanish breakfast and we enjoyed sampling items we had never tried before (such as pulped tomato with olive oil on toast - it was delicious). The parking was nearby in a manned covered car park. Be aware that it is a secure car park that is locked overnight. Therefore you cannot access your car during the hours of closure..We were charged 12 euros for 24 hours ( you pay at the hotel directly and show your paid ticket to the car park attendant). It was a very reasonable cost. It was a pleasure to stay here and we will definitely return for a longer stay on our visit to Spain.

The room key was very heavy (due to a big, bulky wooden key fob detailing the hotel name and room). We were only offered one key, but perhaps you could request a second one. I think if we were staying for longer I would have asked if we could leave our key at reception whenever we left the hotel. Website mentioned a kettle in each room, but there was not one provided.

Met by owner Anna and Sarah friendly. Sarah took my bags to room while I parked close by at their discounted rate. Room very clean, lots of outlets, comfortable. Breakfast was good, needed more protein gave me cheese. Seconds on Coffee. Great Location 5 minutes to main Ronda attractions, Gorge, Flamenco great show, restaurants. This is my 4th time in Ronda and Hotel Colon treated me like family. Affordable and great. Gracias Richard from Frisco, Texas.

My fault should have called 10 minutes before arrival to Drop off bag then park. One way busy street no place to pull off. I made a mistake and stopped around corner and took bags in. Anna said Police have Camera and I may get a Big Fine later.

Excellent location but more than anything the staff was super friendly and very helpful. They made us feel very welcome from the start. They answered all my questions before our arrival very promptly. Breakfast was included in our price which was a plus. I would definitely be back and recommend. They even had a bag with a sandwich and juice for us to go when we departed early in the morning--pleasant surprise since we didn't order it. We loved Hotel Colon!

Everything was perfect!

Nicely located in the center of Ronda, wonderful location. Breakfast was really good and generous. All the staff were very kind and helpful for getting around Ronda. Definitely great value for the money!

The streets nearby are very narrow so you have to use the parking lot across the street, which has narrow stairs only. I guess that's the downside of being in the center of touristic town.

This was our favourite stay of the trip. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We got breakfast included, and although it was a simple one, it was so delicious and they were so generous. The room was also very good, comfortable bed and black out shutters.

Not much we can say we didn't like about the place, maybe a little bit of street noise but the windows blocked out so much noise already so there's only so much you can do.

Really lovely, helpful staff. Cute cafe with a decent breakfast and very reasonably priced food otherwise. The room itself was fine, but was really made by the large terrace, which was a lovely place to sit, people watch from above or even dry clothes. I loved the plants around, which were a really nice touch and obviously well cared for.

The bathroom was a little small/oldschool and the room was smaller than it seemed in the photos, but all fine for the price.
