Everything in the hotel is honestly really good, people were complaining about the location. However, it’s only a 20 minute walk and if you do not wish to walk there are buses and trains nearby. Cafeteria opened 24/7 and their staff are absolutely amazing! The rooms are great.

Nothing bad to say, the only thing is the noise from outside, but just don’t leave ur window opened and you should be fine, also keep in mind is by the port so the noise is expected. But overall it’s an amazing place to stay. I recommend!

This Bed4U Hotel in Santander was a nice clean and newly refurbished hotel. It had breakfast/lunch/dinner service and an ok menu (only ok since there was not a lot for vegetarians on there), a gym area and a nice seating area in the lobby. Guests were a mix of business and pleasure oriented people. The room itself is smartly designed so even the smallest space seems bigger than it is. The shower area is separate from the toilet area which provides more privacy. Bear in mind the shower is placed next to the beds and not a separate room so less privacy there. I could not get my chrome cast to work with the tv but maybe I was unlucky. Overal very clean, aircon worked great and the room was nice and quiet.

This hotel is not situated in the center of Santander, but a bit further out, which means that you can either catch the Renfe train for one stop of walk for about 30mins. This is something I was aware of, however it is unfortunate that around the hotel there are not a lot of options food/coffee wise, since it's adjacent to the highway and away from residential areas. Especially in situations like these I would have appreciated a mini fridge in the room, and a kettle which is sadly not something the hotel offers at the moment.

Fantastic value for money - very modern and clean. Bed were super comfy - think premier inn pillows. The rooms contain everything you need except conditioner (if you use it). Shower gel, hair dryer, tooth brush and toothpaste packs, there's a hair brush in with the hair dryer if you forgot yours. They've really thought of everything. Staff were fantastic - were patient with us when we tried to speak broken Spanish but they're just as happy to speak English. Food and drink were of good quality from the bar. Honestly, couldn't rate this hotel high enough.

Can't be helped but the location wasn't the handiest for the centre (25 min walk) however, there is a train to the centre right next to the hotel which we discovered on the first morning which is one stop away from the centre and is just over 1 euro each way - absolute life saver, don't worry - you can't hear any of the trains from your room.

And the lovely woman (sorry, no name) who worked very hard to keep breakfast sorted. Breakfast was amazing. Delicious, huge choice, constantly replenished. I’ll mention the location! It’s actually ok, but won’t suit everyone. Industrial outlook and a (fast) 25-30 min walk into the lovely town centre. However, we quite liked it. We should have got a taxi back at night though. Not the nicest walk after dark. The room was OK. It seemed rather expensive for our actual accommodation. The style is minimalist, but I found it a bit bleak. The bathroom set-up is not suitable if you’re sharing with friends. Shower IN the room and toilet that reminded me of school. The underground car park is VERY tight if you have a car any bigger than a Fiat 500!!!

Access to the Hotel: Can be easily missed as entry is made down a short slip road, at the bottom of which it's a sharp right turn to the front of the Hotel Shower surround leaked below the door hing.

Secure car parking, friendly and helpful staff at reception, basic but modern and clean room. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom arrangement was a bit strange, with the shower next to the bed (it was a nice, powerful shower though). At least the toilet was separate. There's a train station next to the hotel and the train took just 5 mins to the centre. But we had to take a taxi back as there didn't seem to be a train back after 10 pm. (We didn't have breakfast at the hotel.)

The shower drain didn't seem to be clear, as the shower tray flowed over and the floor got very wet.

This is a brilliant hotel. There is some parking outside but also an underground garage with direct access to the hotel, which was ideal for us as it was raining heeavily when we arrived, so we were able to avoid getting wet. The room is an unusual layout with the shower room in the middle and a separate toilet by the door - this worked really well. The main area of the room was generous enough and the bed large and very comfortable. There was a bar with a decent choice of snacks and drink at very reasonable prices (we were told it was open 24 hours) - and also tables we could have used for working at. Breakfast had one plus compared with many hotels - a machine for freshly squeezed orange juice - and a decent range of breads, etc.

The one disappointing thing we hadn't realised in advance was that the one-way road system prevents you getting directly to the roundabout outside the hotel, so there was a longer trip to the ferry terminal than we had thought.

Modern and clean. The beds are really comfortable and the pillows were also great. Having a balcony was a bonus good location near the ferry terminal but you would need a taxi into Santander Center. Breakfast was great lots to choose from.

Could do with tea and coffee facilities in the bedroom And the TV could do with being a smart TV as very limited UK channels

We stayed in a larger room and were very comfortable. Almost every detail had been extremely well thought-through, and after a five week road trip which involved staying in sixteen different hotels and apartments, believe me, you really do notice the small details! Friendly helpful reception, shower power, lighting, charging, sound insulation, black-out curtains, quality of bed, linens and towel…..really impressive, considering it is a budget-orientated hotel. Net result: an excellent night‘s sleep.

Location a little out of town, but we knew that when we booked and it is convenient for the ferry. Also, having said how well (almost!) every single detail was planned, the shower doors didn’t quite meet in the middle, resulting in leakage.

Nice, new modern hotel in regeneration area on outskirts of Santander close to the ferry terminal. Well soundproofed and insulated from any interior or exterior noise. Immaculate accommodation comprising a bedroom and sitting room (both with large flat screen TVs, Separate WC, large walk in shower and double sinks. Excellent wifi. Friendly, efficient and knowledgeable front desk staff. Comprehensive breakfast with choices of hot and cold food.

Car parking a bit chaotic - a mix of an underground area, in front of the hotel and close roadside. You need to keep eyes peeled to take the right slip road to the hotel!
