Beautiful house, spacious room, comfortable bed, good parking, fabulous dinners and breakfast, the family who own and run their converted farmhouse are just lovely. Not far at all from Santiago de Compostela, an easy 20 minute bus ride from right outside the hotel, the owner giving us the clearest possible information to get there and back. This place is so lovely I am reluctant to share it as I want to keep it a special secret! We are on a trip across northern Spain and have stayed in 5 properties so far, this is by far the best. If you want a bit of real Galicia then stay here. And, amazing value for money 😊

Nothing at all

The owners of the hotel could not have been more helpful. We had not realised that you could pre-order a meal for the evening as long as they knew in advance. When we missed the bus to take us back into Santiago De Compostela for the evening we were a little despairing , not knowing what we could do, however the owners of the hotel did all they could to give us what turned out to be a lovely evening, We had drinks in the garden and then we were even able to have a meal there as they were already catering for a group of people who had finished the Camino Way that day, they just made sure they catered for us as well. The brother and sister who run the hotel really do everything they can to ensure that your stay is comfortable, welcoming and the best it can be,

It was all good.

A very beautiful property with so much history and charm. The family staff were EXCELLENT, helping us out with whatever we needed. Sophie made herself available with any questions anytime. The home decor was impeccable. The property was very clean. The beds were comfortable for a good nights sleep after being on the Camino. Breakfast in the mornings were in a beautiful dining area with a great assortment of food and drink. The property is located towards the outskirts of the city of Santiago which is nice as it’s so much quieter and peaceful then being in the city. The property has a city bus stop at the end of the drive that can pick you up and return you from downtown Santiago for One Euro each way, and the bud runs regularly all day. Without doubt we will stay here again when we return to do another Camino in the future.

There really isn’t anything to not like.

Such a lovely, peaceful place to relax after completing a Camino. The owners are delightful, and so helpful. The garden and setting are peaceful after the hectic bustle of Santiago de Compostela. It’s really easy and cheap to get a bus to town and back. The room was in the oldest part of the house and had beautiful exposed beams. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner at A Casa also. The whole experience was very nourishing.

Nada.

Sophia and Alberto were the most accomodating and lovely host. A really nice, old, rustic renovated farm house renovated to perfection. Loved the location as it's ony 4 km walk away from the center of Santiago and there is an hourly bus that stops beside the accommodation. Very quite, peaceful and we had a great, memorable stay. Highly recommended and will be back if ever I'll do Camino way again next year.

Hard not to like everything, but ever there is one, maybe that there is no Air-conditioning but again, it's a really minor thing to dislike

We really appreciated the loving care and natural materials of this lovely, family run hotel. Our room was gorgeous, with the natural brick and wooden features. The shutters blocked out the light brilliantly and we had a very peaceful night’s sleep. Breakfast was great :-) We came for a stopover night having arrived on an evening flight into Santiago. it was a short drive from the airport and much easier than going into the city (where parking can be a challenge!) We were moving on the next day so this was perfect. We’ll definitely be back on a future visit :-)

This place is so beautiful, quiet and peaceful. The nature is amazing, the history of the place is impressive. It is extremely cozy inside and the staff were very nice people. Our room was spacious and comfy. The view from the window is fantastic. The common areas in the hotel are just incredibly beautiful, it is a building from the 17th century after all. You can feel the history, it is a wonderful place.

Everything was perfect.

Everything! We finished our Camino and enjoyed the relaxation and comfort A Casa da Torre Branca had to offer. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. Breakfast was amassing! Besides an offering of cold items, we were offered scrambled eggs to order. Dinner was also delicious. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The house and grounds themselves were just beautiful. A little oasis. Plus, it is just 1 bus ride away from downtown.
