The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was large and very clean. The bathroom had a large walk-in shower and bidet. The hotel has a couple of very nice lounging areas between the reception and dining areas. They have populated this lounge area with a wide variety of books in many languages that you can borrow while you're there. The 14 euro breakfast was amazing with a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, charcuterie, pastries, yogurt, tortilla de patatas, and Tarta de Santiago! There is a self-serve laundry within a 10 minute walk of the hotel and a large shopping center/grocery store within a 5 minute walk. A bus stop is a block away and the Cathedral is a 30 minute walk from the hotel.

Laundry service is contracted out so is quite expensive; around 8 euros for a pair of pants or shirt and 3 euros for undergarments. This can be mitigated by using one of the two nearby laundromats.

The hotel is 10min walk from the central station and situated in a non-central area. There is a busy road in front of the hotel - but the backside is very quiet. The personell was kind and helpful. The Wifi is excellent. The room and bathroom were up to my expectations I had for a Melia hotel. The hotel is just 1 minute away from a large park!

The restaurant was only ok (based on 1x dinner). Had hoped for a more exciting experience. There are not too many alternatives around - but all of them were better. However, this is „complaining“ on a very high level.

Very clean and presentable hotel which has some nice modern features. The staff throughout the hotel were excellent, friendly, super helpful and very professional.

Only minor points were things like no usb sockets even in a premium room. Additionally the hotel is a bit far from the main city centre so it’s a freak to get there each evening for food or taking taxis. There are a couple of good restaurants nearby though.

This was the perfect hotel after hiking The Camino. The room was luxurious and so was the bed. There is a restaurant on site so no more walking to find a nice meal. The bathroom was like a spa. I had to leave early and they prepared a breakfast box for me.

The street outside was busy so I couldn’t open my windows. But the AC worked well so it wasn’t a problem.

Staff really kind and the bedroom has much space. The TV has bluetooth connection, so I could watch my own programs. Breakfast is not included, but it was really good and amazing too. Very complete. They have a small but very complete gym too, ir was great!

Its not so close to the center, but it was not a problem. Its nice and calm to walk in the city.

I was there on half board the food and beers at the bar were exceptional. The bar staff were so helpful and friendly. I felt the staff throughout the hotel were professional and just kind. They made you feel welcome.

Not so much something I didn`t like but dinner not been served till 8.30pm seems a rather late time in my eyes. Though I accept it`s the Spainish way to eat late. Also the hotel is a good 20mins walk from the main attractions but I deliberately booked a place nearer the bus and train stations to make it easier to go on day trips.

The location and the staff were great. The Hotel is nice and the meals (breakfast and dinner) were good.

The bed was not great: I'm used to a viscoelastic mattress and this one was different, so it moved everytime my partner moved, keeping me awake. I shouldn't have asked for a double bed.

Very nice hotel, better than expected. Very nice large room. Good restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Nowhere else really close to eat. 15 to 20 minute walk to Santiago de Compostela cathedral and old town. Parking in hotel was convenient.

Breakfast room was like a cafeteria and was also used to serve dinner. Lacked atmosphere. It would be nicer at dinner if the lights were turned down. It was very bright!!

good value for money quite near the train station a large supermarket nearby - a perfect place to get that cheeky beer rather than pay for the one from the minibar large bed

a weirdly standoffish manner of the receptionist somewhat depressing neiughbourhood - no bars etc. takes a little while to walk to the old town central heating too warm with no possiblity of control, had to either turn on air conditioning or open the window upon opening the window, one realises that the road is quite noisy

The staff was very helpful and instructive. It was close to a great shopping center with excellent food options. The bathroom with all the gadgets especially the Japanese toilet feature. The breakfast buffet was superb.

The bathroom and shower floor were a bit slippery.
