Be careful to request a room with a window ! When we arrived, they put us in a standard room which was awful as it had no windows. Luckily they had another room available so I paid 20 euros a night more to upgrade and we moved to that room which was great. The staff were lovely. The location is fantastic, a short walk to everything.

The Superior room offers excellent value for money. It is spacious and has a reasonably sized bathroom. Air conditioning and WiFi connection work fine. The location is on a noisy street, but not a problem if you keep the windows closed. The advantage is that there are many good restaurants nearby. It is also possible to rest in a beautiful quiet air-conditioned patio. I recommend to pay for the delicious breakfast, which is served in a nearby restaurant from 8:00 till 11:30. Note this is an a la carte breakfast, and the waiting time is about 10-15 minutes, so make sure you have at least 30 minutes. The staff in the hotel as well as in the breakfast restaurant are friendly and helpful.

If you are coming to Seville as a tourist and do not enjoy lots of walking, you might prefer to stay closer to the city center. A single walk to the main sights is fine, but if you prefer to do some sightseeing in the morning, then take a rest in the hotel, and continue sightseeing in the evening, you might need to walk a lot.

The hotel had lots of character with a sort of galleried indoor courtyard. The bedroom was slightly "faded glory" but had a lovely old world charm with period furniture. I liked the flexibility of being able to order and pay for either a large or small breakfast from the onsite cafe. Whilst the hotel is not in a particularly interesting area, it is within easy walking distance of the city's main attractions (about 20 minutes to the Cathedral and Alcazar) and has many bars and restaurants close by. The staff were all pleasant and very helpful.

I thought it a shame that the cafe/bar was only open in the evenings at the weekend.

We had a delightful stay at Sacristía de Santa Ana in Seville. The hotel is beautifully located in the historic heart of the city, just a short walk from the main attractions like the Cathedral, Giralda, and the Alcázar. The lively Alameda de Hércules square is nearby, offering a great selection of restaurants and bars. The building itself is full of charm and character, with a lovely mix of traditional Andalusian architecture and modern touches. Our room was clean, cozy, and tastefully decorated, providing a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The staff were fantastic, overall very helpful. Parking in the parking garage around 10 minutes walk from the hotel was very convenient and the price for hotel guests is reduced (22€ for 24h). It is a perfect choice for anyone looking for a boutique experience in Seville. We would happily stay here again and recommend it to friends and family visiting this beautiful city.

The location is excellent with lots of nice restaurants and bars within walking distance. Hotel is very clean with room serviced every day. The lovely smell in the foyer!! Very comfortable beds. A/C excellent and so quiet. We were in the room on the corner of the first floor over looking the square with two windows and it was not at all noisy with the windows closed. The tourist hop on/off bus stops just next to hotel

There were slippers provided which was nice, however apart from soap in the bathroom there was nothing else provided eg shampoo or shower cap etc

The inner courtyard as you enter from the street was a beautiful haven, with the small andalucian bubbling fountain in the centre and the cool inner space. We were offered cold sparkling wine on arrival too and given a wonderful welcome by the kind english speaking staff. The rooms had very comfortable beds, aircon and lovely marble walls and floor. Hot water and toiletries welcomed. The double glazing and shutters are brilliant at keeping the room quiet. We loved this hotel and would recommend to all. There is a lift and quiet cool room to sit down stairs. The pillared andalucian courtyard was so beautiful and unique. Breakfast at the nextdoor bustling cafe was a joy seeing all ages out enjoying the square in the emerging day. The square was a fantastic location for all at all times of the day and cool of the evening. We were able to leave our luggage and refresh later. Excellent hotel. Thank you Daily Telegraph for your recommendation. You are spot on. A real gem of tranquillity in a busy city.

I love the location of this hotel, it is on The Alameda de Hercules which is one of my favourite locations in Seville. Although it is a little way out from the centre of the old town it is only about a 20 minute walk to the Cathedral. I love the old world charm of the place, it has many typical Andalucian features and I received a very friendly welcome from the receptionist. I especially appreciated the little reading room on the ground floor. I had an interior double room and although the only window opened onto the atrium it was surprisingly quiet. My room, 401, backed on to the lift and I had seen some other reviews mentioning that it was noisy but I slept extremely well and didn't hear a thing. There is a safe, a small fridge (that was quiet), complimentary slippers, kettle and cups but only fruit tea, no coffee or milk. The aircon was very effective and quiet and even though I turned it off overnight the room remained cool throughout the night. Lovely bathroom, very ornate, and a grab rail for holding onto when getting in and out of the bath (the shower is over the bath). Also a hairdryer in the bathroom and lovely fluffy towels.

I would agree with other reviewers that the staff in the adjoining restaurant, where breakfast is served, could be more pleasant, there was no sense of welcome although it is a very lovely room to sit in. It is an A La Carte menu for breakfast but no one explained how much I could spend. Having read other reviews I think it was open ended but I cannot say for certain. As it was, what I ordered was less than the 15 euro charge that you pay if breakfast is optional. My breakfast was included in my price (I got a special deal) but if I were to stay again I would not book breakfast, you can get much better brunches elsewhere in the city.

This was a fantastic find for a birthday treat in Seville. Beautiful building with stunning decoration throughout. We had a first floor room overlooking the busy street outside but you would never have known due to the lovely window shutters which kept the noise out. Staff at the accommodation were very welcoming and were on hand 24/7. Our stay was on a room only basis but there is a small restaurant attached to the accommodation which did a good selection of breakfast options and you just pay for what you eat. We ate here most mornings as the food was so delicious! This is also where breakfast is served for those guests staying on half board basis.

There is nothing we found fault with during our stay, would happily visit again.

The staff were amazing; patient, friendly, helpful and professional. The breakfast in the next door restaurant was very good quality; prepared by a chef and served by friendly waiting staff. Good facilities. Good location, a nice walk away from the centre. Many bars near by. More residential area to experience Seville away from the crowds. A beautiful city anywhere you go.

The room was small, but comfortable. British tourists would benefit from milk added to tea making facilities.

The Hotel is situated on the Alameda de Hercules a great location in the Macarena district of Seville. It is an easy walk to Sierpes and the main shopping area of the city. Reception is staffed 24/7 and the staff were very helpful. The rooms are all situated off a quiet covered courtyard. Breakfast is served in a nearby restaurant and was excellent quality.

Because the building is a former convent (I believe), the rooms do not have outside windows (the windows are all on the courtyard).
