Love the ambiance- the smells and courtyards- the feeling you were completely removed from all external noise and Irritation- the staff are friendly helpful and a pleasure to interact with- just remember to get the rooms safe key when you check in😀 - you have one of the nicest areas in Seville just outside your door and are in easy walking distance from everything else - I would definitely stay here again

The only downside I could even consider is our room was directly under the roof terrace bar/restaurant and you could hear the chairs/tables being moved around early in morning and late at night - but this was a minor annoyance and easily ignored- (what? I had to think of something 😇)

The property was very attractive, all the plants give you a true feel of a Spanish patio home. What really impressed me was how they added very modern amenities (the modern elevator, 2nd floor cafeteria / Terrazza-Bar) without compromising the charm of the older building. Staff was friendly, approachable and helpful. Our room was great, spacious and very clean. Cafeteria offerings were delicious. We were especially enchanted by staying adjacent to the Plaza de Hercules-a very lively town plaza!

Only one complaint is that our toilet had a minor leak which we were told could be fixed by flushing a certain way. We tried but that didn’t work for us, so we ended up just turning it off when not in use. Definitely not a deal-breaker.

The room was extremely quiet and I was not aware of any sounds coming from outside the hotel nor from guests in neighbouring rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful A very nice veranda on the top floor where a buffet breakfast was available, also drinks and food in the evening. I enjoyed many cocktails and sangrias there. Smoking is permitted out there. There were a couple of very comfortable large foyers with seating and tables and surprisingly ash trays! Good and reliable WiFi Internet access The hotel sat off a square with lots of bars and cafes surrounding it

No coffee making facility in room There was no desk or table to sit at which I would have liked for the few times I was using my laptop.

Once we changed rooms, everything was perfect. Excellent reaction form the staff which gave us a different room immediately after we told them about our noise problem. Overall great place, nicely located.

Before we changed rooms, we could hear the almost totallity of what was being saig in the adjacent room (we were staying in room 211 and could hear normal conversations from room 212). This changed once we changed. Some rooms seem to have really thin walls. Not all rooms share this problem though.

The location was excellent, 25 minutes walk to city centre. Tapas bars all around the hotel, cafe's for breakfast etc. The room was very modern, very clean, beds made up daily and sheets and towels changed at least twice within a week. The terrace bar was lovely at night time, waiter service and nothing was too much trouble and the spirit measures were very generous.

There wasn't really anything that we didn't like

Quirky patios and plants and the little tables outside the room were charming. The room itself was large and the bed was comfortable. They had good timings for breakfast which had a good choice. Staff lovely and the terrace was nice for an evening or afternoon drink Good checkout time and the square was buzzing witj plenty of places to eat. Lovely place

I got used to the fact that there were no windows and the terrace helped. They could do with losing one of the small tables and putting in a shelf or chest of drawers as there was nowhere to store underwear or teeshirts. sonwe had to leave stuff in the case. Room 10. More hangers, please. A tea/coffee facility would be nice and suggest putting a (plastic) glass in the bathroom for teeth brushing and taking meds.

Hotel was very aesthetic, great to take photos and to just chill out in. Rooms were very modern and beds were very comfortable with soft sheets and lovely pillows. Room had a couch, a mini fridge, tv and air conditioning. Hotel accommodated our request for twin rooms. The roof bar was enjoyable with nice cocktails. Wi-Fi was good. Location was great, lots of restaurants and bars on our doorstep and a 20-40mins walk to all the attractions.

The toilet pipes/flushing mechanism made squeaking noises during the night. The water in the shower changed from hot to cold. Roof bar was closed on Saturday, when it said it would be open. But wouldn’t stop me from staying again!

This hotel has an amazing interior with a lot of beautiful plants and terra cotta walls, and a wonderful scent that makes the whole street smell good when you arrive. :) The people working at the reception are amazingly trained and are very helpful and charming and give you a warm welcome. The reception is 24 hours open and is located just at a Tapas area and you can easily walk to the city centre for which you just need to walk straight forward. Everything is accessible very easily!

The walls of the room were a bit too thin and you could hear the neighbours a bit too well, but the bed was super comfy so you would still wake up well rested. :)

The whole boutique experience of the Patio de la Alameda was breathtaking. The almost "tardis effect" as you walk in to the hallway does not prepare you for the awesome beauty of the inner courtyards where you will find quiet seating areas in traditional wrought iron creating many little "moments of aloneness" . Throughout the cooling walls support many exotic plants evidently happy in this perfect biosphere. The attention to every little detail by a very committed staff takes this hotel far beyond its 3* rating. A member of the staff explained to me when I showed an interest that this building is over 200 years old and was the home of Antonio Susillo, the famous Spanish sculptor. Also, it was used as a hospital during the war years. In the 1990s, it became a hotel during 1992, Sevilles Expo year. Stunning artwork and hacienda style decor found in country homes and city palaces alike are to be found within its terracotta painted walls. Exposed ceiling beams take you on a journey to a different time. The bedroom was airy and spacious with a state of the art shower room containing fluffy white cotton towels. Bedding was cool, Egyptian cotton with simply styled coverings, a beautiful handpainted wooden headboard in the Andalusian style. The room had traditional wooden shutters to the front and rear, keeping us cool for the duration of our 4 night stay.

There was nothing to dislike about this wonderful place. The breakfasts were leisurely taken on the roof top catered for by lovely staff eho took an intetest in all their guests. This area also doubles as a cocktail bar in the evenings with lovely views of the 4 columns of Hercules. This pathway leads directly to the main shopping sites and monumental areas, all of which are a small walk away

The rooms were large and clean and very comfortable. Very modern facilities and the air conditioning was amazing after a hot day! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and made us a lovely early breakfast before its usual opening times for a day trip we had planned. The breakfast had a lovely variety of food and the roof top terrace was welcoming. The location was very convenient for the city and for shops.

Only negative was hotel was located in a slightly busy place during the evenings yet this didn’t affect the sound inside the hotel which was quiet and unaffected by the noise.
