Great location just a few steps from the beach. The lovely balcony had a sea view, that I wasn’t expecting as it was at the side of the property. The air conditioning was amazing in 35 degrees in the middle of August. Breakfast was good value for money with a wide selection and very helpful staff. The hotel bar ‘Sports Bar’ was perfect for lunch after a morning on the beach, great food and again, lovely staff.

It was perfect for a week stay. This isn’t a luxury hotel but if you like the beach and you don’t need a pool, it is very good value for money.

Great location on the front and very convenient for everything. Excellent choice for breakfast at a comparatively reasonable price. Friendly and helpful staff. Fascinating sports memorabilia.

I requested a twin-bedded room but we got a double bed. They said that they don't always get all the information if it comes via a 3rd party ie Booking.com They swapped the room no problem but it turned out to be an internal room - couldn't here the festival from there (good/bad) but the a/c units were very noisy in the morning. The bedroom walls must be quite thin as we could clearly hear the neighbours "activities" - so beware! There were a lot of young/student staff in the Sports Bar who were a little (probably their first jobs?) An older woman with blonde hair was excellent (sorry didn't get her name.)

This was my 6th stay at the Subur this year and never disappoints, I had a sea view room, which was great to watch the fireworks of the Santa Tecla festival from. All the staff are very friendly and helpful, My room was very clean and tastefully decorated, The breakfast has a good choice and it’s nice to be able to take it on the outside terrace in the warm September sunshine, as ever always greeted by the lovely smiling Millie. They have a good bar menu for the rest of the day, with again really nice welcoming staff, the location is perfect, just steps away from the beach and minutes away from all that Sitges has to offer, I’m already looking forward to my return in February for Carnival

We wrapped up our three week Spanish vacation in Sitges, in part because of it's proximity to the airport without actually being in Barcelona. What a delightful town! The location of the hotel is perfect in that the beach is across the street (they will rent you beach towels) and tapas bars are plentiful with a nice stroll through town. Staff were friendly and arranged taxi pick up and transfer to the airport, though I do believe you can take a train from Barcelona. The beds were okay, though the pillows were a bit problematic. But, let's be real, no bed or pillow is ever as nice as the one at home, right? Here, they were acceptable. I would definitely stay here again, largely due to its location.

The location is perfect, the friendliness and professionalism of the housekeeping staff is at high level, thanks to the always smiling ladies. We loved the size of the balcony

First of all, no response is given on any messages sent through booking.com neither was the Phone answered prior to arrival. The gentleman behind the reception does not know how to smile or even to say goodmorning. Friendliness is a skill which does not require a financial investment. Wifi login needs a 2022 update. Very annoying to have expiring codes which you have to fill out a dozen of times when staying a week.

This was my 2nd stay at the Subur, and just like my first visit for Carnival, everything was just perfect, My attic room had great views over the rooftops of Sitges and views of the sea, the room was spotlessly clean and serviced daily by the lovely housekeeping staff. check in was quick and easy with very polite and friendly staff. My start to each morning was a very good breakfast with plenty of choice, and the lovely smiling Millie to greet me each morning. I’ve been coming to Sitges for many years, and the Subur is my new go to hotel.

Wi-Fi a bit intermittent

I asked for a quiet room as I came for business. My room was at the back, facing residences, not the street. I had a small balcony that I didn't really have time to use but it would have. I could hear the guests coming back, some ignoring other guests but overall it was quiet and not a party hotel. I stayed on a Tuesday night in July (peak season). The staff were very accommodating, polite and friendly. The breakfast and lunch I had at the sport bar below (part of the hotel) were both very good. The price was also good compared to other hotels in the centre. I'd come back.

Nothing from the hotel nor the staff. Guests can be noisy but thankfully I didn't have party people on my floor, family and couples, solo only.

Location was perfect, close to beach, bars and restaurants. We loved our room as it was on the corner with very good size balcony. Lovely views. Very good sized room and comfy beds. ALL staff greeted us with a smile, really polite. Everyone looked happy in their work and worked very well as a team,

Not having a kettle - tea/coffee facility in the room. One of the beds was quite squeaky.

Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice and reasonably maintained, though some items do run out without replacement. So get there early!

Check-in was difficult and the receptionist was eventually helpful in finding us a room better than the Basic room which had been allocated. I did pre-book an upgrade room but that didn't seem to make any difference. Checking in seemed like a bad start to the holiday and I was getting upset. Not a good start!

I like the fact that when I addressed the situation that wasn’t really what I expected that it was changed in the morning. And I’d have to call out I really am great morning crew there especially René. Really these people make all the difference in the world Spanish people are great!

The breakfast could’ve gone longer. And maybe some things replenished because I got there late today lol
