Excellent clean hotel. Staff and cleaning staff so nice and welcoming. I have to especially mention Sergio who is a credit to your hotel and made us feel so welcome and special. Restaurant for breakfast and dinner is amazing. The choice of food / dishes is excellent. I have been here a few times with my husband and brought my sister this time for a relaxing break. And we certainly relaxed. I can’t speak highly enough of this hotel as every time I’ve been here I’ve had an amazing stay. See you all again soon.

The staff member in the roof top bar on the 23, 24 & 25th April was very rude. On 23rd he refused us our welcome drink as he said he was closing early. We got our welcome drink on the evening of 24th. On 25th April we went to the rooftop bar again and he accused us of stealing the glasses from our welcome drinks the night before and told us we were caught on camera. All we did was bring the drinks back to our room to finish and the glasses were left in our room. We refused to let this ruin our stay as everything else was amazing.

My husband and I decided to stay in this hotel at the end of November for a week. We were very pleased with the hotel. Excellent breakfasts and dinners, we had everything imaginable including free wine and champagne on weekends. Nice odours everywhere. The room was clean, with comfortable beds and a spacious terrace. You can sunbathe right there. Jacuzzi, swimming pool with warm water, a total delight! Convenient location near the beach, great promenade, cafes, etc. The guys at the reception were friendly and very helpful. We always received comprehensive information on all our questions. I’d like to mention Alexandr especially, we arrived much earlier before the check-in time, but despite this, he sorted this out in no time and we were checked in immediately, with which we were agreeably pleased. The same story was with the departure, we did not even hope for such a thing. We recommend this hotel for staying.

The staff, the location and breakfast quality and choice were very good. Lobby was nicely decorated and the pool area and property was clean.

For the price and boutique hotel I would expect the bedroom bed quality a bit more. The pillow was poor quality. The mattress was basic. There was un finished patch work on the ceiling where we stay at room 314 and you could see it clearly when we’re laying down on bed. The bedroom a bit tired and needs re painting although it was very clean and the shower was excellent so the house keeping staff are lovely.

The staff were welcoming, genuinely helpful and friendly. The WiFi was fast and easy to hook up to The air con worked really well. The breakfast buffet was fantastic. There is an evening buffet for just €21, which was really delicious and well presented and was different every night. We liked the relaxing vibe of the foyer and bar area The rooms were well equipped with coffee machine, kettle etc and have a little balcony with seats. The pool outside was heated and there was a nice seating area around with 2 hot tubs. The hotel is very near the sea front and just a few minutes walk away from all the shops in Torremolinos.

Gorgeous boutique hotel just a couple of minutes walk from the beach and lots of restaurants and bars. Best suited for couples or small group of girls looking for bougie hotel. The pool is mid size but has no shallow end. Cute day beds and lots of sun loungers available around the pool. The highlight is the rooftop bar serving a fancy cocktail menu, in a setting usually found in Ibiza. Complete with hot tub and space age decor Staff are super friendly and helpful

The food. The breakfast buffet is standard for what you would expect with a good selection of fruit, hot options and pastries. The restaurant is closed for lunch so if you have booked half board it will be breakfast and dinner. The dinner is buffet only and dreadful. No traditional Spanish options so you won’t see paella, Spanish omelette, patatas bravas or a hint of aioli. The dinner buffet is pretty foul and very limited in selection. Lots of local eateries to choose from so just eat lunch and dinner outside the hotel and you’ll be fine

The pool and hottubs where open all the time. The breakfast was really good. Welcome drink.

The skybar was closed due to rain when checking in. It stopped raining at around 4 pm but it still stayed closed all evening ( but maybe this was due to the floor still being wet up there so not the hotels fault )

Clean, tidy, comfortable, close to beach, shops, restaurants, bars, 15 minutes from the airport. Staff are exceptional. They can never do enough for you. Pool facing room for us again. Big room, huge bed, This was our 4th visit to this hotel and we will definitely be back. Breakfast is fantastic with lots of variety. Rooms are cleaned everyday by the wonderful cleaners who are always happy to help. I can’t recommend this hotel enough. Torremolinos is a wonderful place to visit. Pool is fantastic. Lots of beds around the pool.

Still not enough shade by the pool. It does get very hot. Music outside could be better.

Lovely hotel close to everything. It has just 2 overlooking views.. 1 is over pool and other is over street in front of hotel which we had and it was perfectly fine and lovely to sit outside and people watch. Not noisy. Rooftop bar and jacuzzi fabulous. Lovely welcoming glass of cava given to us . Didn't eat here so can't comment, but it looked delicious. Fantastic Italian restaurant right next door is a must try. Chinese just up also from hotel was not bad. Rooms cleaned and towels changed every day. They had some poolside BBQ'S held some days for a fee which was a good idea but being there only a week we never got to one. Maybe next time. I have some hip issues and can't do a shower over the bath, but this was a lovely walk in shower, not slippy.

The safe was quite difficult to master and down so low you have to get down on your knees. . Our one was broken but replaced straight away. Also the bathroom door kept sticking and got caught in it just before we left but forgot to tell reception when leaving. I'm sure if we told them they would have fixed it straight away Room 210. Room a bit narrow to get passed each other.

This is a very good hotel! It has everything you need for a fantastic stay in Torremolinos! It is close to the beach, close to the shops, close to the tourist information centre, close to the train station (10 minutes walk). We took the train to Malaga and it was just perfect! What we liked most about the hotel was the very friendly staff, who were always in a good mood, helping us with any question. We had breakfast as well as dinner at the hotel. Especially the food in the evening was excellent! Every day there was a different range of dishes, meat as well as fish, with lots of vegetables. There was also fruit and a choice of deserts. It was just a small extra cost, but absolutely amazing for such high quality food! On top of that the wines were also splendid! We would certainly recommend to have dinner here. Upon arrival, the receptionist noticed that my husband would celebrate his birthday that week. On his birthday, when we entered our room in the afternoon, we found a birthday cake, some fresh food and a 'Happy Birthday' card. This is the first time a hotel pays attention to this! This is no doubt an excellent address. One to remember and to return to!

The bathroom was rather small, but that didn't bother us.

Central to beach, main town, strip and supermarkets. Pool and jacuzzis were great and sparkling clean. Breakfast was great. Complimentary champagne or juice on arrival. Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. Overall great stay at Essence Boutique!

No private area to leave baggage before check in, bags left in restaurant which was a bit scary as I had valuables, thankfully nothing was missing. Bathroom is pictured a bit bigger in the photos which was a let down. A little expensive but you pay for what you get which is understandable! One staff member in particular was extremely rude whenever we would arrive for breakfast.
