Clean, location

Decor, a few pictures on the walls would make a huge difference, put a cheap fridge in the room, carpet the hall ways to brighten and soften them up. Provide some better toiletries instead of the smallest bar of soap in the world. Don’t charge for a room safe, it’s a basic necessity of travel.

The air conditioning doesn’t come on until later in the year and I found the room stuffy , also you have to pay for the safe which i don’t think you should

We love this hotel and the attention to detail. The rooms are much improved by the refurbishment. Smart and comfortable. We were in a superior overlooking the pool. The balconies are wide and in the sun. The breakfast offering is excellent and the adjacent bar is also smart and well tended. The place is exceptionally clean. Staff are often seen sweeping and disinfecting areas needing it. The garden is well maintained and the pool is a lovely temperature in Summer. Many restaurants and bars practically on the doorstep. It's a long walk into Torremolinos town but there is a bus that stops outside the hotel. Taxi go up and down the main road outside all the time.

No issues at all with the hotel itself. Lively children can be an issue for mature adults because there is no children's area. Be aware of this. Very noisy children who were allowed to be noisy in public almost spoiled some days for me. Babies and infants in nappies are allowed in the pool. It was not possible to 'relax by the pool'. Fortunately I had headphones. There is a raised solarium which is also 'adult area' but there is hardly any cover here and it is sunbeds only.

We have had a beautiful week at the hotel Tarik. I think, it was our best decision to choose this hotel. The hotel is on of the oldest in Torremolinos. Built in the beautiful andalusian style, that fits much more to my liking then the new blocks. It is in the first line to the beach. The hotel itself and all the rooms are newly renovated. Spacious room, comfortable bed, desk, small refrigerator, and an even more spacious bathroom with walk-in shower, (big mirror, good hairdryer), small, but nice balcony with view to the sea and to the swimmingpool. The rooms are cleaned every day. Very nice and helpful staff , always with a smile and eager to fulfill your requests. Good, varied breakfast. Very nice swimming pool, with a spacious green area, and pretty sun terrace. Everything is spotless clean an tidy. All around you can find good restaurants and bars. We had our flight back home in the evening and we could stay after checking out at the pool area, and even, we could change and have a shower in a separate room. What a courtasy! Surely come back.

Hotel Tarik is a fantastic place, located only 10 drive from Malaga airport, which is super convenient, especially when travelling with children. The hotel itself faces beach with a magnificent view of the sea. We were kindly welcomed and guided by Inma, all the staff of the hotel was super nice and helpful. The whole hotel is newly renovated, providing high standard and comfy rooms and facilities. We enjoyed the pool area, cute elegant lobby, tasty breakfast with a wide choice of pastry, dairy product, hot and cold meals. Attached restaurant has a wonderful menu. Good internet connection. A lot of restaurants, bars, small markets, bike rental, super long beach promenade, kids activities (trampolines etc), easy train connection to Malaga, adorable town centre. Beaches clean and well maintained. Hope to be back. Thank you.

The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly every day with clean bedding and towels. Roof terrace was very nice. Breakfast a bit repetetive after a couple of days. Staff very friendly and helpful. Nice outside space at front of hotel for evening drinks. Lovely beach across the road.

We were not very happy with our room location. Ground floor overlooking pool, which apparently I requested, but after seeing it we requested a first floor room only to be told the hotel was full, which I did not think was the case. Main problem was loungers about 2 feet from our balcony and people smoking there.

Staff always lovely, and helpful and accommodating when needed. Breakfast exceptional, and good choice of where to sit. Bedroom pleasant size and comfortable - balcony an essential - and so nice to have some English TV channels too. The general sitting and relaxing areas are so pleasant and welcoming. Love the new look where changes have been made. Generally just love the hotel, one of our favourites in the Torre area.

Not so much not liking, but do find the lighting in the bedrooms a bit inadequate for our eyesight. And would request a few small jugs for milk, for those of us who like to drink English tea!

Loved absolutely everything about this hotel. It was; clean, modern, lovely food, relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, situated in a perfect location, you could sit in the restaurant eating breakfast and watch the sunrise out of the window. Nice also that we could have fresh bath towels whenever we wanted. Honestly I could not fault this hotel. Also great to have two decent restaurants next door and a supermarket. Absolutely perfect this hotel.

Only thing I could find fault with at this hotel was the fried eggs were never runny at breakfast but everything else - spot on. And I mean everything else was spot on, really nice breakfast.

The hotel is very well located, close to several restaurants, bars, convenience stores, and right in front of the beach. I couldn’t have chosen better. In terms of transportation, it was also very convenient; in my case, I only needed to go to the center of Malaga and to the airport, both of which are quite close. I walked from the hotel, which took about 15 minutes, and the metro can take you anywhere for just 1.80 EUR. I have nothing but good things to say about my stay at this hotel. Starting with the staff, who were always very helpful and attentive during my stay. Right at the beginning of my stay, due to a personal situation, I had to change rooms, and they were very accommodating and considerate, showing that they are truly there to help you have the best experience possible. Another advantage was the "courtesy room," which is a room that allows you to take a shower even after your check-out. If your flight is in the late afternoon or evening, this can be very useful if you want to enjoy a half-day at the beach without worrying about going back home feeling "dirty." This was a big plus that I didn’t expect. My room, as you can see from the photos, was exactly what I requested and met my expectations. It was spacious enough, with the air conditioning working, super comfy bed, a very useful balcony, and a view of the horizon. The breakfast is very good and varied, very complete, which is something I always look for in a hotel, and it met all my expectations.

Honestly, I don't have any negative points to point it out. Perhaps the pool could be a bit bigger, but it's not smal at all (just a preference) and it in no way affected the overall wonderful experience I had.

There are so many reasons why we enjoyed a lot our staying at Hotel Tarik. First of all, the proximity to the beach and the room design. We booked a double room and the view from our balcony was marvelous. The interior of the room was intimate, comfy and looked exactly like in the photos. Bathroom and the shower were large - a big plus. Also, I appreciated the room lighting, creating a warm and cosy atmosphere. Second (but maybe the most important), the services here at the hotel were exquisite. Staff is extremely kind, welcoming and attentive. Rooms and every area of the hotel were very clean and tidy. The service at the restaurant was amazing - everyone smiling and trying to give us what we wanted most. Third, the food at the hotel’s restaurant is so delicious. We almost ate there every single day. The menu is diverse, offering both Spanish specialties and European dishes, with generous portions and tasteful dishes. Let’s not forget the interior courtyard, around the pool, with different types of trees and plants. This was like a heavenly oasis. Everything was simply perfect and we’d come back several times at Hotel Tarik. Congrats to the team for their professionalism!
