The hotel is very nice and managed by a friendly family. It’s very close to the bus stop where the airport buses from Barcelona arrive. It’s close to the beach and the old town, but it isn’t on the main promenade, so it's relatively quiet. However, take into account that there are narrow streets and buildings close to each other, so there is some noise when someone rides a scooter or people are loud when coming back from a party, but you can always close the windows and turn on the air conditioning. The hotel room was clean, we had comfortable beds and well-functioning air conditioning. Towels are changed very often. The only thing missing in the room was a drying rack to dry towels and swimsuits. The hotel has a large roof terrace with beautiful views of Tossa, the sea and the mountains. If you need it, you can ask for a beach umbrella and beach towels. The breakfasts are tasty, egg dishes such as omelettes and scrambled eggs are prepared to order, so they are warm and fresh. The strongest point of this hotel it’s owner, Luis. He is a unique person, extremely helpful, kind, attentive and caring about his guest. He can advise very well where to go trekking or cycling, where to go to eat, what beach and when it is less crowded, and even what day of the week will be best for a trip to Barcelona. And he makes the best Sangria in Tossa! :)

My son (14) and I shared a room. The hotel has an excellent location, close to the center but out of the busy streets. The hotel owner, Louis, was very friendly and extremly helpful - thank you, Louis for the excellent recommendations for restaurants, hikes and required shops! The hotel has a nice roof terrace to cool down in the evening while having a drink or playing cards, and otherwise we simply spent some time in the lobby sharing a drink with Louis and chatting about the Tour de France, sports and tourism. It was a wonderfull stay, and I would definitely book again, if visiting Tossa.

Hotel Tarull is run by the most gracious and generous of hosts, Luis and his family! From when we checked in to the time we checked out, Luis and his wife did everything they could to make our stay comfortable, enjoyable, and memorable! The daily breakfast is complete with quality offerings of breads, pastries, fruits, yogurt, coffee, a selection of cold cuts, and eggs cooked to order. Thank you Luis for all you did for us! We hope to return to Tossa one day and will definitely stay at your hotel!

Everything was perfect!

Hosts and hotel exceeded our expectations. Hotel is located in old part of Tossa, which is a huge plus. Just a few minutes from fortress and beach. Nice breakfast. Clean rooms. Terrace with stunning view. Luis was extremely helpful. Overall, thank you Luis for wonderful experience. All the best for you and your family!

We liked everything!

The hotel's location is great- in the historic old town, near the beach, and also near some amazing restaurants. We were also able to reach the hotel easily by car. The room we had was very clean and spacious. Moreover, the breakfast was rich and tasty. The hotel has a large terrace from which the entire old town and also the sea are visible, ideal for relaxing. We also would like to thank the hosts for their hospitality and help. We felt like we were at home the entire time.

Lluis and his family were the best hosts one could wish for. Made us feel welcome and part of the family from the minute we arrived. The location was perfect; in the old quarter of town close to everything but away from the maddening crowd. The view from the roof was nothing short of breathtaking and a lovely to spend the cool evening hours. Rooms were modest, clean and comfortable.

This is an outstanding family-run hotel, much exceeding its 2 stars. Located in peaceful area but close to old town, good restaurants and the beach. Luis - the owner is very kind and hospitable. In fact, I do not know more open-minded and helpful hotel-keeper. Nice rooms with comfortable beds, very good breakfasts, a small fridge, if you wish, sun umbrella and towels, when you go to the beach. Roof terrace with splendid views. Highly recommended!

Without a doubt the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at! Can’t wait to come back here. Luis and his wife made our holiday an unforgettable experience, they are the most welcoming and helpful people who just radiate positive energy. The hotel is well-equipped and very close to the beach, with a dreamy panoramic view from the rooftop. The breakfast is great, the room is comfortable and spotless, what else to say? 10/10 !!!

The location of the hotel is most ideal of Tossa. In 5 minutes walk, you go easily to the bus station, beach, shops, restaurants, etc.. The hotel is located in a quiet area, and feels like home at the first moment you enter. The hotel has a top ambient lighted roof terrace with an incredible 360° view on the Tossa-bay, the Villa Vella and the moorish architectural and historical rampart. Breakfast is highly enjoyable and offers all the fresh and delicious varieties of bread, cheese, meet, coffee, tea, yoghurt, eggs, you can imagine. But the most incredible experience of all trips we have done in 35 years, is the unbeatable and unprecedented level of hospitality of the owners, Luis and Maria. The service and family atmosphere comes straight from the heart of the owners and gives this hotel a priceless high level. We loved our stay at this very nice family-run hotel. The owners are exceptionally kind people who go out of their way to make you feel welcome and at home. Thank you Luis, Maria and Anna for your warm-hearted hospitality, you couldn't have been nicer! Luis gave us great recommendations for Tapas bars and restaurants. They provided us with a beach umbrella and beach towels at no extra cost which was much appreciated! The location of the hotel is excellent, only a short distance from the two beaches we visited. We loved the hotel, the town, the beaches. While there, we were lucky to witness the Festival of Catalan Music and Rumba, great fun for the whole family. Can't wait to go again!
