Great location - you could walk to all of the main attractions and it's right next to the metro station to/from the airport. Very friendly and accommodating staff, clean and comfortable rooms with balcony (with Nespresso machine for decent coffee in the morning!)

Pillows on bed could have been comfier, street below a little noisy (expected given location, we both use earplugs to sleep so wasn't a problem), breakfast was OK but not amazing. A chair or two on the balcony would have been useful! These are minor gripes and overall we loved it.

The hotel is in a city centre, around a 15 min walk from the Sorolla train station. It’s a good location, close to the old town and all shops at the Carrer de Colón but it does get loud in the evening because of the customers of two restaurants downstairs aren’t very respectful of other people - would be nice to get quieter after 11pm as a courtesy to others. Windows offer some insulation from the noise but aren’t soundproof. Saying that though, I was still able to fall asleep, so it wasn’t obnoxiously loud outside. Staff was nice and helpful and always greeted me at entry and when I was leaving. The place is very clean and beds are very comfortable. I had breakfast in a café 20m from the hotel entry, was popular with locals and I was happy with the quality of food - big baguette was only 3.2 euros. Didn’t have the coffee, so can’t comment on its quality.

The lift! It was so slow and warm inside, also no indication on which floor it is in a given moment (unless you’re waiting on the ground floor), so you don’t know whether to wait for it or take stairs which I’ve done a few times because my patience was running low.

Excellent location, very friendly staff and room immaculately clean. We did not have a view, but we had not requested a balcony but this did mean room very quiet. Cannot comment on breakfast as we left early for onward travel, but would definitely return.

As with many Spanish hotels there were no tea and coffee facilities in the room. It's not really a dislike, just would have been nice to have. There was a mini fridge with a few select products in.

this hotel is superbly efficient and concentrates on practical things that will be of benefit to travellers. Special mention should be made of the helpfulness and friendliness of staff which were truly excellent. This applies to correspondence beforehand and helpfulness and willingness to research and meet our needs while we were there. Rooms are well cleaned and looked after every day. The lift service is also excellent. The hotel is really well situated and there are are wealth of useful shops, cafes etc on its doorstep. Tourist sites are within easy reach.

Because it concentrates on usefulness and fantastic service to guests a few luxuries are missing eg a lounge area, toiletries, and an extractor fan in the bathroom. But the good things far outweigh anything else!

Very good location. 15 mins walk to city center, 100m to metro station, many restaurants around. Breakfast were good, with enough variety, always fresh and delicious. Room was perfectly clean, very comfortable beds. Bathroom very clean with all the equippment working fine. The staff was helpful and very friendly. Special greetings to train lover from reception :) Locker room for luggage was available for guests with late flight - awesome!

just minor thing, but this is rather expectable when you stay in city center - might be noisy a bit during evenings with windows opened, however live music from restaurants might alleviate this inconvenience.

Good location in pedestrian area close to the station. Nice room and comfortable bed. The room had minibar, coffee machine and safe. Nice big walk-in shower....however...

However, there was a nasty smell of drains emanating from the shower drain. Every day the cleaners directed water from the shower head down the shower drain, but the smell returned within minutes. The cleaners and reception desk were all aware of this problem, and the reception desk said it was a more general ptoblem, not just my room. So I wonder why they don't get the drains fixed.

Position in the city, close to almost all main attractions of Valencia. Good value for the money we paid for it. Very clean, they switched our towels and did the room daily. Friendly stuff, all knew English and moreover how to answer to our questions.

Sometimes there was a sewer smell covered with room perfume down in the reception probably because the next building was in a process of renovation. At the breakfast they didn’t have any vegetables, just some freshly squized tomatoes like a sauce.

Very centrally situated in a pedestrian area a short walk from the main rail station (Valencia Nord) We had booked a standard double and were surprised by the size of the room, spacious with the all important and much needed on our visit...good aircon. We hadn't booked breakfast but on our last day decided to pay the 11euros each. Basic breakfast fare. Very pleasant restaurant manager. The hotel provides a number of lockers where you can leave your luggage. No problem storing large cases.

Can't think of anything we didn't like and would be happy to stay there again when we next visit Valencia.

The location was excellent: all the main attractions were within walking distance, as was the metro for the airport. The breakfast was good value for the price, although sometimes we had to wait for cutlery or larger cups for tea because the waitress couldn't do everything at once. (Perhaps a second waitress would be useful during busy times.)

There was an unpleasant smell of drains around reception and in the stairway (also sometimes in the room).

The hotel is well located, nestled between the train station and Plaça l’Ajuntament so everywhere in Old Town Valencia is within walking distance. The room was spacious and clean, and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. There are also a lot of restaurants around so you are spoilt for choice when it comes to where to eat but I personally didnt dine in any of them as none were highly rated by review sites. Reception staff were all pleasant and spoke well. I’d like to give a special mention to the guy at the reception when I checked out. He asked if I was traveling by train and when I said yes, he gave me a bottle of water. It was a very nice gesture. Another staff member whom I’d like to commend is the lady at the breakfast hall who helped me microwave my take out and let me dine in the hall.

The hotel had no lobby. A couple of times i went back to take a nap in the afternoon, but my room hasnt been made up yet (thats another matter). I wouldve gladly waited in the lobby if there was one. So I was constrained to leave again. It wasnt really that big of an issue since Valencia is beautiful and I didnt really mind walking around. The other thing is that I was probably unlucky enough to have a room which was scheduled to be cleaned last (like around 3 pm). So whenever I go back for siesta, the room isnt ready.
