We wanted somewhere quiet, within easy walking distance of the railway station and in the old town. This hotel was perfect in every respect: literally five minutes’ walk from the station so not too stressful dragging our luggage, and set in a pedestrianised side street just three minutes’ walk from the Plaza de l'Ajuntament and ten minutes from the old market and the Plaza de la Reina. The reception staff were friendly and very helpful, allowing us to check in early as there was a room ready. Our room on the fourth floor faced the front street below and was beautifully appointed, very spacious and with the usual comforts including kettle, tea & coffee, TV, a good sized safe and a stocked mini bar (chargeable). The bathroom was immaculately clean with a bath and over-bath shower. Everything of interest was within 10 – 15 minutes’ walk including a huge choice of shops, bars and restaurants. The hop-on hop-off bus stop is also nearby. W We made a great choice with this hotel and would certainly stay here again next time.

The hotel is centrally located, about 10 min walk from the Central Market and 4 min walk from the subway and bus stops. A lot of restaurants, bars, coffee shops and some supermarkets are just next to the hotel. The staff is very nice, the room is big, clean and providing all the necessary amenities. I really recommend this hotel for your stay in Valencia.

The only thing I could mention is to provide some fresh vegetables (salad, cucumber, tomatoes, bell pepper, etc) for the breakfast (they had one day only from our 3 nights stay).

Top location just near historical center, near Metro, many restaurants and bars around hotel . Big spacious modern room, good bed quality, very clean. Good rich breakfast.

Bad sound isolation between the rooms, i had noisy neighbors and was really not easy to sleep. There is no carpets in the room, so you can hear every step of the neighbour. Next to hotel there was also renovation of Bank building, they started banging at 6 AM already. Hotel took me 2x money from my account, this made me confused. But at the end this monex was returned to my account. It ended good, but feeling remains bad.

Location - excellent. 200m (or less) from the train station and the metro Staff - very friendly and helpful, enjoyed them immensely. Breakfast - excellent assortments of pastries, bacon, eggs, coffee, yogurt, cheese, nuts, etc … very very good and we enjoyed the convenience of just going downstairs every morning.

Wifi was hit and miss - it would just drop off for no reason and random - they need to get that sorted (for the price one pays to stay there) TV was small, cords (cable) loose and didn’t work (until we investigated behind the TV) - and no English channels (other than 24 hr news (CNN & BBC)

Amazing location. Everything was nearby and despite being right in the centre, the hotel was quiet and we slept really well. The rooms are really pretty, and have clearly been renovated recently. Beds are extra comfy, the staff are really helpful, there is an underground carpark with special rates for hotel guests. We opted for the breakfast and it was really good. So many options! As a vegan there was enough for me to eat well every morning.

The price but that's only because the Australian dollar isn't great right now. But it was worth it.

Everything and everyone. Specially the ladies at the reception they are number one.

House keeping needs to get things in order… I don’t like anyone to enter my room and changing the setup of how I leave things. Like pulling off the card that keeps my air conditioning on. Also not leaving the complementary water that I am entitled to. Also I ordered water from room service and past one hour and water never arrived. had to call reception and the room service guy went to a different room and knocked on the door and obviously nobody opened because it was the wrong room. But he didn’t even bother to tell reception about it to find out what was happened. I had to call back again.

Great location, had a very local and not touristy, yet not to far form the main tourist spots. 10 mins walk from 2 metro stations. I booked late and this was good value for money compared to other available options. staff on the desk were all friendly and helpful. The room was immaculate and there was a small kitchenette area.

The girl on the desk recommend a room at that back with a view over the internal shaft as she told me they are quieter than rooms facing the street. I thought I had paid a bit extra for a room but she said that wasn't the case and anyway I decided to take her advice as I didn't want a noisy room. The room was fine but I would have much preferred an open view

The fact that we could extend till 5PM the check-out. Of course, paying a 44 euro additional tax. Overall it was OK the accommodation.

The fact that we paid an extra tax for a 3 years old kid, even if we did not request any extra bed, or something else..... So just because we had him with us. And, the idea is that we could not add him when we made the reservation on booking, bcs the search was returning only triple rooms. And we wanted double room, bcs the kid sleeps with us. Also, usually 4* hotels are giving, from the house, to the guest a bottle of water, in the room, at the arrival. Here they don't give anything. So would be good to be more customer oriented, to try to please the customers, more.

Enjoyed my stay at Vincci Lys, great location in the city a few minutes walk to cathedral and in heart of the old city. Room spacious, beds really comfortable and quiet at night no noise. Good wifi, bathroom facilities were great lovely hot powerful shower. Mini fridge in room, breakfst was good with choice of hot breakfast and continental breakfast. They also catered for Gluten free diets with GF bread and cakes.

Staff were really helpful. I specifically requested a double room and when I arrived found out they only had two twins. They had room service pull the beds together and put liners to bolster the mattress. It worked fine with little difference between two joined twin beds and a king. The room was a really nice size with a really good size bathroom . Everything was clean. The location is central with ease of access to local amenities and attractions.

My room that was supposed to be "Courtyard view" was facing a wall with no view. I felt this room was about £40 more than it should have been compared to others in the location. Perhaps a nicer room would have felt more reasonable for the price.
