The Vila-Real Palace doesn’t try too hard — and that’s its charm. A golden façade, polished marble, and a lobby that hums with quiet purpose. Rooms are spacious, cool, and faintly nostalgic — hydromassage baths and firm beds that belong to another era of Spanish business travel. Breakfast is unhurried, honest, and best taken with the soft light of morning cutting across polished tables. It’s not a place for spectacle, but for pause — a stop between the sea, the stadium, and the next decision. Reliable, still, and somehow calming in its restraint. Guest Number 9 rating: 8/10 — understated, efficient, quietly Spanish, the staff are its primary strength - friendly, accomodating and highly respectful.

A great hotel, we have only pleasant impressions of the stay. Attentive and friendly staff! We came to celebrate my husband's birthday, there was a surprise greeting for us at breakfast! Thank you so much! Incredibly delicious breakfasts with a beautiful view. A huge selection of fried eggs, ham, cheese, sausages, milk, dessert, coffee and so on. Everything is of high quality, we will miss the breakfasts! There is a Carrefour store nearby, and the railway station is only 17-minute walk away. Also I liked the view from the room window with mountains and the city. We will be glad to come back!

Our room was dusty when we arrived. The Cleaning people did a great job cleaning the room, but there shouldn't have been dust on the shelves in the closets

We wanted a hotel with comfortable room and bathroom close to the beaches at a reasonable price in August. This hotel fitted our requirements perfectly. Room was spacious with good facilities, staff were as helpful as possible. Easily accessed from the N340 and 20 min from beaches at Grao.

Not a problem for us, but needs to be noted that this hotel has no restaurant (despite the sign on the building) and the small bar area never seemed to be operational. Did not fit expectations many guests will have of a 4*. No restaurants within reasonable walking distance, but the nearby bar served good food.

The area of villareal is a little quiet for me. But served purpose as we were staying for a champions league game. Staff very helpful

Unfortunately the swimming pool was closed due to maintenance/improvement works. Great for future customers but such a shame we couldn’t enjoy it too!

For the price paid I did not expect the hotel to be as good as it was. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was also very good with a broad choice of fare available. Hotel is on the edge of the town but Villarreal is relatively small so it is not much of a walk to reach other parts of the town.
