24h reseption. Good location and very friendly staff. Free coffee and tee. Airport transfer for 6000 rup including tol was super easy to book from reseption and driver was on time. Trip took only about 30min to airport.

A bit pricy for hostel and no lock on dorm room door.

Fantastic, affordable hotel that genuinely feels like a 4 star. Staff are super helpful too and the location is great but be careful of the men on the streets pretending to be the manager of this hotel. They will try to mislead you to a temple and a fake one day exhibition and then take a lot of money from you. Do Not Entertain Them.

Very nice, clean and spacious room. The bathroom was nice and rather new. It was very quiet. The window was indeed there but it was overlooking the corridor and a type of window well. The window was darkened and had blinds so there was no privacy issue, plus I was only staying one night so I didn't need the view anyway. The hotel is very well located in the nearby tourist attractions as well as the railway station and the seaside. The hotel is on the street leading to the presidential/gov area so it's very safe and sound even it doesn't look at first sight.

The beds could be more comfortable but it's nothing you cannot handle. Beware of scams in the nearby streets - although it's generally safe and I was mainly there during evening hours, some people may stop you, ask questions, start explaining there is a nearby event and tuktuk comes out of nowhere willing to take you there. It's not hotel's fault but it's worth to be alert on that while walking around this area.

Friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location, near to a supermarket and several restaurants. Spacious lockers available to store our belongings. Power outlet available by every bed. Beds were fairly comfortable. There is a lift (elevator) if you have heavy luggage. There were many shared toilets and showers for all the guests. The showers had good water pressure. There is a small kitchen with a microwave and kettle. Near to Fort railway station and many bus routes (including intercity routes) available nearby. Nice ambience in the reception area.

The rooms themselves were not locked, though there were spacious lockers to store our belongings. Overall, there were still more positive than negatives!

We stayed two nights at C1 Colombo in the 2-bedroom suite. Both bedrooms were spacious and having two bathrooms was a great plus. The lounge area was comfortable and very spacious also, and the kitchen was well appointed (although we didn't use it). C1 Colombo is well located in the Fort area, with easy access to the Dutch Hospital and Pettah markets. The staff on the front desk were friendly and helpful.

Although both bedrooms had their own air conditioners (which was great), there was no air conditioning in the lounge or kitchen areas, which made spending any time in these rooms uncomfortable. We had to wait about 45 mins for our room to become available after the designated check-in time.

The staff! SO helpful and kind- the warm greetings make it feel like checking in to a high class hotel, not a budget hostel. The facilities are not fancy, but housekeeping does a great job of keeping the place very clean - even shower rooms when the hostel was fully booked. Comfortable common area, free tea/coffee in the morning, good advice on transport etc. Shankar was particularly kind, bringing me packets of Ayurvedic medicine for my stuffy nose. What a lovely way to end my visit!

In a shared dorm, there can be differences of opinion on whether to run the AC, and at what level. But that’s part of the deal when in a low-cost hostel. Not a major issue.

When you walk in there is a lounge area, free coffee and tea and a private area. The staff are so pleasant and helpful. There is also a lift if you have heavy bags. There is a small kitchen with a fridge and microwave. I stayed here when I arrived in Sri Lanka and I came back for 1 night when I flew out. It is close to most attractions. I would particularly like to thank Dennis for his help. He was so attentive and always had a smile for you.

There was not always enough hot water for a shower. In the kitchen you could do with a better dish rack one where the dishes stand up so they can dry.

A really nice hostel, with a frontage that appears like a posh hotel, friendly staff and bathrooms that are cleaned regularly. Just a 15 minute walk, or 200LKR tuk tuk ride to Fort railway station. A very good cafe just around the corner for breakfast and dinner. Good real.coffee available in the foyer. I'd stay here again

As it's a place people come to straight from the airport, be prepared for some late night arrivals and the usual nocturnal plastic bag rustling. The beds have mattress protectors which are slippy and cause the bottle sheet to bunch up quite badly, but the beds themselves are comfy.

The staff were really friendly and welcoming as soon as we arrived. They were happy to help with anything we needed! The room was really clean and the bathroom was clean and had a proper shower not a wet room which was fantastic! Really good WiFi that you could stream Netflix well. Really nice lobby with free tea and coffee available. Lovely areas to work/ socialise in the lobby too. Really close to Colombo fort train station. Would recommend to anyone needing somewhere comfortable and clean to stay in Colombo for a reasonable price for the area.

The room curtain wasn’t that thick so let in light and wasn’t sure if neighbouring buildings could see in.
