Huge hotel. Caters to big groups. Got all the facilities you need. Huge pool and excellent staff.

Its a resort so don't expect the local life, although the staff are super friendly. The beach is tiny and gets big waves. Don't expect to easily swim in the sea. Do go out of the resort for food and nicer beaches. It's between 2 beautiful towns so do go on day trips.

Hotel was very nice and the beach was walking distance to the hotel. The rooms were well equipped and lovely. The breakfast was amazingly good with a wide variety. Close to Galle Fort with a car. Very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable.

In Sri Lanka we normally go to hotels with a driver. The hotel did not have any driver accommodation despite my request earlier on. The receptionist did not have a solution to this and didn't seem to care. Had to complain to the manager to sort an alternative accommodation for the driver.

The Radisson Blu is an amazing hotel with wonderful staff and superb facilities. Starting with the breakfast, the breakfast buffet has so much choice to cover all personal preferences, including live cook stations. Lunch menu was exceptional and diversified, and the evening buffet / al a carte menu was fantastically creative with a multitude of choices available - different every evening. The skills of each chef has to be commended with their style of approach. The bedroom was superb, cleaned daily to a high standard. We had a small issue with a rain leak which was quickly sorted and so apologetic - so thanks for that. There is a hotel roof top bar serving a variety of foods and drinks and has a pool table, and large TV. Hotel is quiet, pool and children's shallow pool were exceptionally clean, plenty of sun beds and chairs, pool bar was well stocked and the pool bar staff were always on hand to serve. There is a kids club and a fitness room. There is several rows of sun beds that face the sea and there is a public small beach in front of the sun beds but protected by a good fence but with easy access to the beach. Nearest Town is Galle Fort and is a good visit for cafe's and shops, but can be a bit pricey. Tuk Tuk travel about 10 mins for about £3 ~ £4 with a haggle. Other places to visit also by Taxi or Tuk Tuk.

Could have done with a quiet communal coffee / Tea room for leisure on very rainy days. Maybe some other internal activities for these type of days too. There is a lounge with the possible facilities, but this was not operating whilst we were there. The sea at the beach is non swim as it is rough seas (when we were there with a storm) and many rocks.

We had an incredible stay at Radisson Blu. We were looked after by the incredible staff right from start to finish. The room we were given was incredible - so spacious and light with beautiful views of the ocean and the pool area. The bathroom was perfect with space and every comfort that is needed. The pool area is so nice to spend time in the sun or tucked away lin the shade in one of the many pool Side areas. My partner had her birthday while we were there and there was a piece of cake with a personalised message that was so thoughtful! We took a day trip to Mirissa with the driver Russel who was patient and look after us well. Chamesh at the Hotel helped us with any questions we had and everything we needed help with. I had an unforgettable stay at the Radisson Blu in Galle, Sri Lanka. A special mention goes to Executive Sous Chef Kapila, whose dedication and passion for his work were evident in every dish. He is not only a talented chef but also an incredibly friendly and approachable person, making our dining experience truly delightful. The spa experience was equally outstanding, with the therapist providing an amazing foot reflexology session that left my wife feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Many thanks goes to Widani The bar staff were also exceptional, offering excellent service with a smile every time especially Chandimal. Their attention to detail and warm hospitality made our evenings at the bar very enjoyable. I highly recommend Radisson Blu in Galle for anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable stay. The jacuzzi was out of order but no big deal.

All the rooms face the sea with spectacular views and pool views.

Nice sized room and bathroom but the bathroom swing doors are dangerous when it slams into a unsuspecting toddler following a parent into the bathroom. Our toddler was hit twice this way. Breakfast was good, however disappointed most of the juices were not freshly squeezed and of the commercial kind. The kids zone room has seen better days. Carpet stained, no proper rules to advise guests to remove their shoes etc, toys were broken or missing parts, and hygiene a little poor especially when toddlers do tend to put things in their mouth.

The location, the views , the room was big enough, nice staff, nice garden, comfy beds, the SPA is fabulous and the masseuse is professional.

There was some tropical rains and the room got flooded and electricity went off in my room and stayed in the complete darkness until they came to check, they tried a lot then couldn't fix the issue. Window water.proofing is bad, they moved me to another room ( I was expecting an upgrade given the incident) . The beach had very high waves but I understand that it is the monsoon season, but I would say even if it was the nice season, the beach has a lot of big rocks, not the ideal spot to swim

I had really good experience there, 3 nights stay and I really enjoyed my time. Foods are great, staffs are all polite and friendly, room is always clean by room keeper, the view from room was amazingly beautiful too. The hotel also brought me welcome sweets and evening sweets as well. It was amazing experience relaxing in front of the beach , swimming in big pool. Especially communication staff Ashan always came to see me when I have breakfast, lunch and dinner time to talk to me. This was my special time in Sri Lanka, I would come back there when I come to Sri Lanka again. Thank you so much!

It was the most expensive room that we had booked in the trip, But Radisson Blu Galle didn't disappoint. The room is huge! The bathroom is huge! The balcony is huge! It felt as if we were living in a house. The swimming pool and the beach area are pretty nice, especially the reclined seats near both of them. Perfect for sunbathing. The breakfast was awesome! Good selection of fruits and vegetable salads, breads, indian and sri lankan breakfast options too!

That they did not take the credit card that I had supplied when booking the property, and I had to pay at the property with the scarce forex I had.

The location and staff were very good

The Wi-fi was terrible I had to go to a nearby coffee shop to get my emails. This is a basic requirement and the fact that a simple coffee shop was able to provide a good Wi-fi that a 5 star hotel could not is a bit worrying, I did tell the staff about the issue at the time but it was not corrected.
