Nice, well appointed rooms, AC worked very well and the bed was comfortable and huge! Amazing staff, everyone was so friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Udaya who works in the hotel and also drove us from Colombo in the hotel van, and to a safari in Yala. He made us feel extra special, and is a great asset to the hotel. Breakfast was also lovely, huge selection and portions of Sri Lankan or western food. Location of the hotel is great! Right in Galle Fort center.

The Heritage - Galle fort, a cosy hotel in the heart of Galle. In our one night trip to Galle, we mainly focused on staying in side the Galle fort. We got a very spacious, comfortable room in the 2nd floor of the Heritage. The room itself had a nice vibe, a king size bed and all the necessary amenities. And was very clean.  The staff was welcoming with a warm smile and very helpful. We happened to have an early check-in but they didn't hesitate even for a second to get us into our room. They let us have a late check-out too!!! We got a coupon for a free 10 min complementary foot massage at the spa upon arrival. Which made our exhausted feet very happy.  The location is great at the city centre where everything is within walking distance. Very near to public transportation services. I would recommend to friends, and will definitely stay again if Im back in Galle.

Location was great. Brteakfast-Western-was good. Room was generally good and pretty much in Line with an old Heritage Property in a restricted development area. The staff headed by Suneth Indika was very courteous and helpful.

The Air Conditioner made a lot of racket all through my stay and was brought to the attention of the local management but to no avail. They seem to be changing the units. The natural lighting is inadequate and the window is openable but without a mesh which is required to ward of mosquitoes.

We had the suite which was spacious and perfect for our family of 4. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom was a good size. The suite was very clean. The staff are so friendly and accommodating and made my son’s birthday very special. Thank you.

Our suite was located on the roadside so we could hear a lot more of the city noise. If you want quiet select a room away from the roadside. If you like the action and live music and be part of the Galle night life (which is awesome) then go to the suite closer to the roadside.

Staff very attentive and made us very welcome. Hiru the receptionist, excellent welcome. Lafan the waiter who attended on us was exceptional. Bedrooms very comfortable, big beds and excellent facilities.

Most dishes were tasty the prawn starter could have been better. Alcohol currently unavailable. There was an issue with the electricity and the main lights in the restaurant were off but luckily it wasn’t busy so we were accommodated in the patio area. Lafan looked after us and made us comfortable.

A charming heritage property in the heart of old fort area of Galle. The room was functional, clean, spacious and perfect for us - a group of 4 friends. The location is perfect for exploring the area and the old fort area by foot. Most restaurants close by 11 pm inside Galle Fort area. The balcony that wraps around the room was perfect to sit & chill and enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning. The bed and bedding was super comfortable & we had a good rest each night. The staff was really helpful and prompt in addressing our requests specially Suneth & Hiruni. The service speed in the restaurant is a bit slow but considering we are on holiday it was ok. The airport transfers and local day trip was arranged with the hotel and our driver Udaya was very courteous & polite. He gave good suggestions of the beaches to visit in the southern coast.

The is no alcohol other than Beer/Wine available at the property so BYOB

The Heritage Hotel is set up in old Dutch style colonial accommodation in a great location within the Galle Fort. the staff were very friendly, helpful and looked after us very well. The room was lovely and clean with the biggest double bed I have ever slept in and was very comfortable. The breakfast served each morning was of a very high standard. The hotel organised a trip for us to visit Uda Walawe national park and assigned a driver to take three of us there in a very comfortable car. The driver looked after us and went on the safari to ensure we got the best trip possible. The hotel’s laundry service proved to be an excellent service for us as it was very hot and humid during our stay. The hotel also organised to drive us to the airport using the same comfortable car used for the trip to Uda Walawe. The hotel was excellent value for the quality and service we received.

The Heritage Hotel's location couldn't have been better for us; it was exceptionally welcoming to tourists. This ultra-luxe boutique hotel is housed in a Dutch mansion that dates back 300 years. Our mornings began with delightful breakfast options, and the attentive hotel staff, who took care of every detail, truly enhanced our stay. The room was incredibly comfortable, with the largest bed imaginable. What truly stood out during our 10-day Sri Lankan adventure (3 nights in Galle) was having Sumith as our driver with a comfortable car. The Hotel was well located with easy access to the city center. The staff were very courteous, helpful and smiling all the time. The breakfast options were great and thoroughly enjoyed it. Rooms were clean, well maintained

Access to the hotel was slightly challenging as it was located in a very narrow street. Walking to the hotel is the best option and easiest way to get to it. The hotel seemed very rule driven. For eg. only 2 small bottles of water everyday.

Staff were welcoming and accommodating. Our flight was slightly delayed but it wasn't an issue to arrange a freshly cooked meal for our arrival. We loved the food, their local curry dishes were some of the best we had in Sri Lanka. The staff were always around, ensuring our needs were met. The location is great, central to the main eateries, shops and a stones throw away grom the wall, all in walking distance. The hotel facilities are beautiful with a spa on site to relax.

The beds could have been softer but it's more a matter of preference than an issue.
