Probably the nicest place to stay in Kandy. We spent more time in the hotel than we did in the city. Good facilities, pool area was always quiet with beds available when we wanted them, friendly hotel staff and roof top bar was probably the only decent place in town to get food and drinks until late. F&B Manager Asanka was very friendly and helpful.

A bit overpriced bearing in mind the water constantly runs hot and cold during your shower and there are often power cuts. Location good overall but the hotel is situated on a steep hill that you wouldn’t want to walk up at the best of times especially not in the dark.

Fantastik breakfast, fantastic dinner… too much option and Very delicious 👏👏👏 hotel workers are kind and friendly people. 😍👑We stay there 2 days end of the year . They organise new year party very well and above our expectations….🎉🎉 For families for couples for every body we definitely recommend 👏👏👏. Also every evening for dinner they provide different cultures cuisine 👏👏👏… today we decided to stay 1 more day here and tomarrow before going to Colombo thinking to make reservations for last 4 days of our trip… Welll done Radisson Kendy more than 10 to 10👏👏👏👏👏👏

The Hotel is a 15 minutes tuk tuk/car ride from the train station. It is a modern hotel hotel with all the amenities you can think. The rooftop bar along with the swimming pool was our favourite place to spend time. The breakfast menu was vast. We would definitely come back here

During our stay there was problem with the room electricity due to which the air conditioning did not work for a few hours which ended up to be an issue of overload and was fixed after calling management At the breakfast you find so many crows on the balcony if you are having breakfast there and if you leave your table for anything your food is going to be eaten by them. This needs to be taken care of

Comfy beds, big rooms with a lovely view and in a good location. Pool area was also nice! Breakfast had lots of options for everyone and reception staff and wait staff at breakfast were all lovely.

Security guards helped tuk tuk’s try to scam and overcharge us. When trying to book tuk tuk’s on pick me app, security kept questioning where we were going and started speaking in their language to the tuk tuk driver who always seem to be parked outside the hotel. For the price we paid for the room we expected that staff would be helping prevent us from getting scammed by these but it was the opposite which was quite disappointing. These tuk tuk drivers charge over double what the apps do and can be very intimidating.

Whether you’re lounging by the pool or dining in their exquisite restaurant, you’ll feel pampered and well-cared for. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional stay. There is no kids area and main dishes mostly were the same for the breakfast

The beds were very comfortable, we overlooked the lake and the room was bright & well maintained. We were up on the 5th floor so very handy for the pool/gym/restaurant up there. Easy walk to nearby restaurants & even into centre too, or there are always tuktuks at the front of the hotel. Great western & sri lankan options at breakfast. Staff were super helpful when my son fell & cut his leg quite bad & I needed to take him to hospital.

Better equipped first aid kit, but I cannot imagine accidents like our happen very often (BTW, it was completely my boy being silly & nothing to do with the hotel!)

Our room's panoramic window framed a stunning vista of the cityscape and the tranquil lake, making our stay truly memorable. The staff were incredibly hospitable, attending to every detail warmly and efficiently. We especially enjoyed the rooftop infinity pool, which offered a magnificent view of the surroundings—a perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring. Despite being slightly away from the city centre, it was the ideal retreat after a rugged match in Pallekalle, allowing us to recharge comfortably. The breakfast spread was delightful, catering to a variety of tastes. Overall, Radisson Blu Kandy is a fantastic choice for those seeking luxury with a view.

Upon arrival at the establishment, a local program was taking place on the ground level at the restaurant adjacent to the reception area, accompanied by loud music. Consequently, we were escorted to the rooftop bar area to complete the check-in process, which was satisfactory. The guest rooms were in good condition, clean, and comfortable, offering a picturesque view of the city and lake. We were appreciative of the welcome note accompanied by a box of chocolates. The hotel staff demonstrated a friendly and welcoming demeanour, consistently greeting us with smiles. While the breakfast provided was satisfactory, there is room for improvement to align with the Radisson brand's reputation.

The location was not to my liking. It required a strenuous hike up a hill to reach it. The swimming pool was diminutive in size.

This hotel has such a big heart. I want to give a shoutout to those that make it so welcoming (I am sure there are more) Palitha from the bar, also, Hamesha, Chamitha & Kavisha. All led by Mr. Hemananda. The location is central enough to get to places, there are 2 great restaurants close by that we visited - No Name and the pizza joint. But the food in the restaurant is more than satisfying and the team are happy to help. I would definitely return here in the future.

We had a nice time. The hotel is withing walking distance of the city, we liked being able to stroll into town and explore. You could also take an evening walk around Kandy lake. The staff were welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived, and we appreciated the welcome note and chocolates in our room. Our room was clean, comfy, and had a decent view of the lake, though it overlooked some buildings as well. Breakfast was good, with quite a few options, but we felt it could have had more of a Sri Lankan touch since there were some Indian dishes. Enjoyed the pastry items. Dinner wasn't the best experience for us. The food could have been better, and we might have been tired and also we arrived about two hours into the buffet, so that might have influenced our perception. On the bright side, the live music was a nice addition. There is a rooftop bar where you can get food also, it's a bit overpriced. Overall, we had a good stay and would consider coming back next time we're in Kandy.

Nothing of the hotel: If you are planning any tours, there are taxis (tuktuks and cars) available right outside the hotel, but be prepared to bargain. We found that they often asked for almost double the price compared to what we paid using the PickMe app.
